I was looking up some information about the origin of the name 'Geez-us' and incidentally found that someone is claiming that yahoo is a hebrew form for god.
"...His name is used for an internet site (yahoo.com) where users wallow in pornography, piracy, occultism and all forms of sin detestable to Yahuwah! The Babylonians called one who worshipped Yahuwah, a YAHOO. "http://www.wwyd.org/Studies/The_Name.htm

I thought that strange, as many were complaining of the use of xtian imagery associated with yahoo groups. Well, I guess there was more too it. Weird. I always thought that a yahoo was someone who wasn't very sharp...well, the name seems to fit.

Yahuwah is another spelling of Yahweh/Jehovah.
Jesus comes from Latin Jesu, and by its time, comes from hebrew "Yeashua" (Yod - Shin - Vav - Ayin). Note that both are written with 4 letters (another hebrew tetragamatron as YHVH).

In add, Yeshua means "lets rid of His name from existence" (the name of Satan)
