Tom Hanks plays an anti catholic academic in this piece of xtian mindfuck propaganda, with Rom Howard directing. Hanks and his wife are virilent orthodox catholics and the movie employs tactics that expose the wrongdoings of the early church all the while insinuating that those decisions were mistakes made by a few misguided people rather than church policy. The church is even portrayed as a "victim" in that some "bad guys" are infiltrating it. Tom hanks rescues a cardinal who eventually becomes a "progressive" pope that "reconciles" science with religion. So we have a virilent xtian director teamed up with orthdox catholic hanks do dupe people into trusting the catholic church again. sick shit really. Hanks wife is even more virilent a catholic than he is. They have a production company together.

i recommend that anyone interested in this movie... READ THE BOOK! ... i read the book before the movie came out, and the book 100x better, they leave out large parts and major arguments and information, im hoping it was due to time for the movie but there are probably other reasons. The book goes into a lot more detail about many of the situations and makes the church look a lot worse in the end, when the camerlengo (temporary pope during the death of the pope) is trying to explain his reasons why he did what he did, which they cut out of the movie, his arguments show the churches true colors and how truly backwards they are and they want us to be, and that they are willing to go thru any type of lies just to get publicity and the "need" to go to church. much like how ppl claim to be "possessed" just to get more attention and fear into the populace.

I just finished reading the book 2 days before. That's why the thread catch my eyes. But I'm in disappointment about the ending of book.

Yeah i have read all of Dan Brown's books and thoroughly enjoyed them but whenever they are mentioned people seem to turn their noses up at them i can't understand why?? They are a good read and have loads of information that is most of the time reliable as i have researched many of the topics from the books because i was so intrigued.

Still got to watch the film yet though hopefully i won't be to disappointed!!

HAIL SATAN!!
