Can any of you help me decipher the anatomy of sigils? More or less the shapes and symbols that compose the detailing of more elaborate sigils.
I never gave much credence to sigil magic, I never gave it a chance until an associate introduced me to it and I found it quite worthwhile.
So I've been experimenting with making sigils, most of which are duds, some of which are very useful. I'd imagine it probably has something to do with the fact that I have no idea what the different detailings mean.
A lot of sigils have extensions that end in circles, or crosses, but there are a lot of different smaller shapes that are incorporated into these elaborate designs and I haven't the slightest idea as to their significance.
With as much as they remind me of electrical diagrams it wouldn't seem wise to be throwing around any old shape or symbol, but I haven't been able to find any information on the subject.

Like any form of magic, the props themselves have little or no power. It is the focus of your mind and the strength of your aura and timing with the planets which determines the outcomes, not the sigil design. Granted, many if not all of the Goetic sigils are indications of perfected souls and the path thereto but again without the power of the Demon they are associated with, as a drawn design they would not hold anything.
