An Anti-xian Poem

[Allison Passino]

   Devourer      I am the Devourer.   All that I touch withers to ash.   My words are a cancer that would eat into your mind and soul, consuming till there is nothing left.   My children are as maggots, insinuating their way into all things of this earth.   They glorify me, and sing my praises to those that know no better!   Kind and benevolent they call me, though I seek naught but the ruination of all human life!   By the thousands, the fools come, flocking to my altars even as their very souls putrify.   Those that preach of my beneficence know deep in their withered souls, that what they say of me is false, and yet they are too far under my cancerous spell to back out.   When they that follow me die, I shall gladly claim their pitiful souls as my own! They shall be devoured, and become part of the great vortex that feeds my black soul.   By many names am I known: Jehova, Adonai, Yahweh, God the Father, the Risen Son. None of these is my true appellation.   I am Soul Reaper, Devourer.
