I've been a college student for almost two months now, trade skill related. I hated that I was a laborer for about 6 years and still basically worked entry level jobs.

Going into my course I thought I had to get 90%+ for it to mean anything. The economy is shit right now and I can't mentally or financially afford to not have a decent job after the 8 months I'm in school. Additionally, my one friend had a serious head injury without health insurance, so I sent him 10 thousand dollars from a loan I took. He lives in a poor country where the average person would have taken like 4-8 years to pay that off, so I told him not to worry about it. I don't care about money, but I ended up having way less funds than I thought I did and I think there will be a point in mid December where my available funds are literally at 0.00 .

Obviously I have no one to blame but myself for this really crazy situation I put myself through. The way I see it I can't take another loan because I already have debt from the loan and debt on a credit card I didn't even know about, and if I get a job I'll do worse in school. I can't just quit school either, because I'll have to immediately pay back over 16 thousand I got from the school loan and grants.

I'm starting to get burnt out, and now it feels like I have to fight just to maintain 80%~ overall average. Even then, I have no idea if that's enough for me to transition to a better career path effectively. The other thing, getting anything over 80% in these classes is absolutely arbitrary. Some classes will ask random useless things that are more like trivia, almost as if it's an easy mark but it totally isn't because you'd have to memorize literally everything they say in order to know it; that's not how my memory works, I'm not a fucking computer.

I use Notion for all my college notes, great place to organize everything and a step above using a basic notes app. You'll see what I mean when you start using it, college creates insane clutter and having it all neatly organized will definitely help you. Notion lets you share notes so you can have someone help or even do some of your assignments while you're working if you're not using AI. The way I see your situation, the job and paying off the debts as soon as possible are the first priority, and finding someone to help you with the college part to prevent burnout is non negotiable

im a college student as well , well technically not yet , i will be in a few months. But You need to score better and get the highest marks possible , you can apply for scholarships as well , if you have better marks.

Try working a part time so you can make some amount of money.
what field are you getting into also btw.

And also dont give out loans to people bro , ik you did it bcs he is your friend ,and your very kind enough to help him out with such big amounts. But think wisely next time. Ask that friend when can he repay you the money , and if he can send you money in the form of repayment even if its small amounts.

That way i think you can defi manage having good grades and some amount of money.

You can also do rituals about removing obstacles , so it will be alright brother , dont worry.

If that guy you sent 10k to is a real friend ask him for help.
That is reasonable to suggest. I will be asking for just enough to barely scrape by if absolutely needed, however he's struggling too right now just like most people are.

I've been using paper notes, rip. I might as well be etching in stone tablets. I have a potatoe laptop running on windows 7, might unsarcastically use that if it can even run the bare minimum requirements. Was considering getting a keyboard that could work on my phone too, but have to work with what I have, or rather what I dont have.

Except you have to go into debt because of helping him, while he doesn't.
Maybe you have no way of understanding what it's like to pay off an impossible debt because your daddy gave it to you effortlessly or whatever. There are people out there working 80+ hours a week trying to provide for their family who still fail to make ends meet. I don't want a very dear friend of mine to go through that, I don't want anyone to go through that. I'd rather face hard times than allow someone I care about go through something impossible. I didn't "have" to go into debt for him either, he didn't ask and I wasn't otherwise forced to.

If you can't understand that, it's fine. Just don't escalate this suggesting I'm retarded for trying to help someone else.

I'm not saying you're retarded. I'm hinting that you should ask him some help.
