I think we've been interpreting our gods a little differently lately. (if you think I'm being unfair, please tell me the truth about it, my friends.) Gods, whether in mythologies or in different cultures we accept, have always been beings who, if this is the right expression, 'are not afraid to get their hands dirty' and who do not care much about the ethical rules of people and cultures. we read about them in mythology, which is the part that I study in collage specifically, and obviously I see a paradox from time to time. whether it's the topic of sexuality, revenge, if necessary, violence and black magic, it's like we're softening up. Gods were always fighting with each other in myths and could make mistakes sometimes, even the myth of Lady Aphrodite and Lord Ares can be considered as an example. And in these cases, our lord Zeus would put them in their place. Mostly symbolic, yes, but can it always be as symbolic as it is said to be? Dionysus and Pan used to have sex parties, gods and goddesses were known for their high sexual desires, but our ethics now say that we should not go overboard and should be balanced. the habits and temperaments of our gods seem to be like, please forgive me, are being likened to the god of Christians from day to day. i feel like we forget that the gods are our friends and we put a great distance between ourselves and them. Every time I communicate with Lord Hermes, he is much more humorous, sarcastic and friendly, unlike the god figures described here. (By friendly, I mean that he talks to me like a friend.) For example, I believe that I have a very deep connection with Lady Aphrodite, and sometimes when I neglect my worship of her, she responds to me in a 'offended' way, of course these are just jokes. But in the forum they are always shown as unreachable beings. it's called here, I can't show it directly like look this this this, but I feel it a lot when I read posts.

(don't think I'm being disrespectful, I think the love I have for the gods has already been noticed by my posts. I'm just asking about the issues that are confusing my mind. I may be thinking wrong, I may have misunderstood.)

Myths are Allegories and not litterally to take. Gods are not fighting each other but working in unity, that's while existence is still on because they are keepers of it and of laws in it. They work in harmony and in unit.

All Myths are very complex stories with instructions in it how one has to ascend. These are not to be ready with programmed and today's society formed mind, but with pure, deprogrammed Soul with pure intentions, with already established certain understanding and when one is ready.

Myths are like our Gods who want to teach us, they like a father for a baby to show something about the world of the ducks put a costume of a duck and acts for a child to understand something about the world of the ducks. As HP once said in one of the Sermon.

It's not about literally physical fights but about advancing, clashes of the energies, how one has to tame and conquer energies of the planets in themselves for them to become mastered over and become masters of their life's and become powerful.

It's like Saturn and his forces which are hard on us and if we are not taking a stand in struggle to develop through that hardship we are defeated, yet if we are accepting of that war of life in striving to live and become stronger, we are in turn Fathered by these on otherwise looking opposive forces which are always pushing us to become better and are in truth not evil but necessary for you to develop your Soul - through friction, power is exercised.

To truly learn about Gods study TempleofZeus.org in depth and you will find all answers to your these concerns.

This is not for everyone, and yes who are not ready and not open enough can't come across right information but as modern age wants from us taking it in modern atheistic, materialistic way and read it all literally.

That's more christian approach how they are trained to read a bible and understand it as litteral story, so take these most ancient teachings as litteral as well.

A lot of the myths are allegories for energies as has been mentioned in posts before by senior members
'are not afraid to get their hands dirty' and who do not care much about the ethical rules of people and cultures - Our Ethics are derived from the Gods. They intervene to correct us when we go astray. You cannot say the Gods disputed our civilization, when you civilization was being a caveman. When chaos takes over the common population and strays us away from the natural laws, it is better to disrupt. During the Dark Ages, the Church believed the Earth to go around the sun and every weekend Zeus's own creation gathered to curse Zeus. Did he then decide to do away with our entire existence? No. He still guided us and made us better. These statements are a result of limited understanding in the scheme of our greater existence.

"Gods were always fighting with each other in myths and could make mistakes sometimes, even the myth of Lady Aphrodite and Lord Ares can be considered as an example. And in these cases, our lord Zeus would put them in their place" : These represent forces of nature. There were not actual fights between the Gods. Zeus never put again god in place. Zeus is the supreme form of being which is representative also of complete mastery of the rules of nature and knowledge. Zeus disrupting fights can also be understood as suppression of forces (though mastered) as they are not balanced or in sync with the greater rules of nature. Lord Ares for example is the God of War. Which even though mastered, is one part of the need of civilization. When we let passions take away or blind us from making decisions that make sense for us in the grander scheme of time, Zeus ( a representation of Superior Knowledge and command over the forces of nature) takes over. This does not mean Zeus actually intervenes rather Nature puts people/forces/gods into place.

"But in the forum they are always shown as unreachable beings" : Without giving examples of people having proved communication, all I will say is the website clearly maintains the stance of there are no mediators in Zevism (Satanism). You and everyone here is encouraged always to have relations with the Gods, that is the only thing which will help you grow.

Dionysus and Pan used to have sex parties, gods and goddesses were known for their high sexual desires : Maybe the Clergy and help on this but to what I understand sexual energy is very important for the advancement of Kundalini. Many times this "sex" is also used to show creation. An example of this is Lord Zeus having many partners and babies. Lord Zeus is a creator god and a master of alchemy. To mix energies is also to create in an alchemical sense

Myths were used to teach people life lessons while using the Gods almost like characters, or in some as literal symbolism. The Gods are friendly to Zevists, but do not forget that they deserve to be treated as not just a mortal friend, but a guidance and should be shown respect. We never forget that the Gods can be soft and friendly, but they can and will be strict and offended when something is done against their will. I myself view the Gods as an almost parental figure that watches over lovingly, but will be strict to set you on your path when needed.
