This forum is against no-fap or semen retention but I find that when I don't masturbate or especially ejaculate I get things done, I feel motivated, I feel driven, but when I ejaculate it's like I've thrown the day away and I feel like doing nothing and turn into a zombie mindleessly procastinating or not being able to accomplish anything, I even begin to feel depressed and wanting to sleep all day, which I guess comes from the prolactin. No-fap appears to benefit me and many men also find benefits from it and report motivation and higher energy levels, so I'm not sure why the forum speaks against it. I don't see it as repressing sexual energy but rather putting it into productive use. This shouldn't be confused with the anti-sex doctrines of certain religions which I am against.

The reason is that your vitality is so low that after ejaculation, you feel exhausted as your body recovers from it.

To overcome this, specific energy work and physical exercise (asanas, too, are very important) are key to increasing vitality.

From what I can understand, 2 things will lead you to feel depression afterwards. One is the obvious of doing it too much that one has depleted themselves, the second is one I find many might overlook and that is having a harmful view on sex and related.

If an individual is only going for relief after days or weeks of no release while having a healthy mindset on sexual activities then I find it there shouldn't be a reason to feel depressed/depleted afterwards and the only reasons would be the above. My opinion.

The question is: removing depression or eliminating the cause of that depression?

That may be difficult to understand and I don't know which one is more important, but since it is related to spirituality, my suggestion is doing this work: https://ancient-forums.com/threads/...body-for-men-too-don’t-disregard-this.292496/
You can check the Calendar for the dates.

It is important also considering to increase vitality thanks to breathing exercises and Yoga.

Depends on what you masturbate to. If you masturbate to pornography often, it can create dopamine withdrawal, and because of this, you may feel depressed after ejaculating. Try masturbating to nothing and just focus on the process itself.
Another reason could be that you are not engaging in masturbation because of a physical natural desire, but because it is an addiction.

Engaging in masturbation is not harmful, but even beneficial, especially for men, as it can prevent sperm stagnation, as well as relieve mental and physical stress. The energy of orgasm is very strong, and at the moment of ejaculation there is a brief trance state.

Therefore, it is an individual matter: someone may want to do it several times a day, someone - less. Listen to your body and try to masturbate less to pornography. It is best to find a partner in real life, if possible.

"
Kundalini is the life force and is very sexual in nature. This is the reason the Christian church and other RHP religions ban masturbation and all forms of sex. Sex is the creative power; it is one's use of the life force to create another human being. When one is trained and adept, the use of this force can be applied to many other objectives." And several other researches:

"1. Reduced Risk of Prostate Cancer

A study co-authored by Lorelei Mucci, Professor of Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, found that men who ejaculated more than 20 times per month had a 20% lower risk of prostate cancer compared to those who ejaculated less frequently. The researchers suggest that frequent ejaculation may help clear potentially cancer-causing substances from the prostate (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health).

2. Improved Immune Function

Research published in Neuroimmunomodulation observed that after orgasm, there was a temporary increase in the activity of certain immune cells, such as natural killer cells, which play a role in combating cancer and viral infections. This suggests that masturbation may provide a short-term boost to the immune system (Medical News Today).

3. Enhanced Mood and Stress Relief

Masturbation triggers the release of several hormones, including dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins. These "feel-good" chemicals can reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, and improve mood. Clinical psychologist Megan Fleming notes that masturbation acts as a "reset button" for the nervous system, promoting relaxation and creativity (InStyle)."

I believe a TG said a very simple answer for this. If the feeling is constantly there or comes around at a time where relief will just be a waste then go do some push ups. Something along those lines. Sounds crude but how else to get across for men to use that vitality for something beneficial like exercise.

You are correct on both occasions. Yes, there is a mental component to this that I did not present. Good point, thank you for bringing it up.

having a harmful view on sex and related.
This is very interesting and deserves to be discussed deeper.
Many people have hang-ups or suffered abuse, brainwashing or have been exposed to sex very early in life wth negative outcomes.
Also xian education pushes very hard on sex as "evil". Even if parents/caregivers never directly expressed hate or repression for sex in itself, there may be very indirect, subliminal and unconscious ways to communicate this. Communication happens often on several levels, the conscious and the unconscious. Much brainwashing happens on the unconscious level while the victim is not fully aware due to symbols, behaviors, and tricky words.
Masturbation is very repressed and forbidden in the jewish programs like xianity, so depression after ejaculating is often due to that programming and sense of guilt coming out.
More specifically, I perceive this happens as a conflict between the conscious mind (who wanted to masturbate) and the unconscious mind (who is programmed to repress masturbation). Those kind of conflicts are very draining in terms of energy, and depression is the result of low energies.

In short, in many cases I think reprogramming the mind, like with Munka or self-hypnosis, may greatly help to perceive sex and masturbation as healthy, as they naturally are.
