hi. so i am on day 70 of daily meditation and yoga. this includes i did the cobra 40 days program when i finished it i left ac ap vm cs hatha yoga breathing exercises (alternate nostril breathing and basic breathing) for the morning and ac ap vm cs for the evening i also did curse return. today i did night meditation and yoga so now i cant sleep and my body temperature feels elevated. i am trying to sleep but i am absolutely unable to do it and i feel sleepy. as if my brain wants to sleep but my body doesnt or vice versa. excuse my english. i have been trying to sleep for 2 and a half hours and now it is 2am. my question is is it normal that i am experiencing insomnia and what should i do about it in the long term.

i also do kundalini yoga every day before bed. i suspect that i can't sleep because of kundalini yoga so i'm trying to find out here if i should continue doing kundalini yoga.
Due to Kundalini Yoga Sat Kriya's raising properties, it is wise to do it in the morning or during the day.

To answer the question above, you have overstimulated your nervous system and can not fall asleep because of that. Try doing evening meditations earlier, and if needed, slightly less in overall amount. Your body will take time to adjust to these types of changes. In any case, doing such things too close to bedtime can lead to insomnia.
