I myself am a big enthusiast when it comes to plants and herbs. I myself don't own many plants, but my mother and my house has a lot of plants both inside and out, and this has inspired my love for the herbal side of Spirituality. Is there any advice, books or fun facts about how to better plant growth, and just knowledge yourself more on the effects of herbs in magik? Thank you and HAIL ZEUS & THE GOD'S!!!
The earth tells you what kind of herb will grow best at any given moment if you listen and observe. By discerning which "weeds" are growing in the garden you can understand the composition of minerals etc. of the soil. Once you understand this you can plant herbs that need said minerals to grow strong & healthy.
Letting organism, fungi, molds etc. thrive in the garden will up the quality of the soil, you can do this by tilling the land as little as possible & by covering the earth, preferably using organics especially in the winter. If you leave mother nature naked to the elements, organisms, fungi etc. will die degrading the soil.
Sound & vibrations can very much help in the growth of plants, singing, vibrating runes like Jera can be very beneficial. Healing runes like Sowilo & Wunjo can also be used.
Carving runes can like the step above be quite beneficial, Jera is the rune of growth & harvest so I would recommend this one. As usual while carving runes always vibrate the rune an X number of times (for example 108 repetitions).

When it comes to planting you can take some very easy and "lazy" shortcuts that can in some instances be far superior to modern sowing tactics. You can for example simply take a hand full of seeds & sprinkle it over the soil. If the soil is soft and fluffy this will work sufficiently. You could also rake the top layer of soil first & remove this top layer before sprinkling in seeds & covering it back up with the soil you removed. Using a mix of several different seeds could also be very useful, just be aware that the herbs might be too densely packed if you do it this way, so you might need to remove some of them as they grow.
If you don't want to use seeds you can also use clippings of said herbs, make sure that you leave 2 or so leaves on the clipping & plant them in the soil. you could also use a potting mix to help the clippings take root before putting them into the garden. Its important to not leave on to many leaves as this will sap to much energy, 2 small leaves should be fine.
