There's one reality check that has never failed me and made me become lucid every time I did it in a dream. It's to count your fingers on one hand. Every time I had like 6. Also when I was training to lucid dream being younger my friend told me that clocks are also a very good reality check...

Do you have any idea why this trick is helpful? I think I had seen this before for people dealing with anxiety attacks or I may be wrong. Anyway, I tried it and I think it is helpful. I am just very curious as to why.^-^
