COMMEMORATION TO BERITH

Baal-Berith also known as Nimrod is the father of Yule, here is a short story in commemoration to him:

The 25th of December was observed in Rome as the day when the victorious God reappeared on earth and was held at the Natalis invicti solis, "The birth-day of the unconquered Sun." Now the Yule Log represents the dead stock of Nimrod, known as the Sun-God, but cut down by his enemies; the Xmas-tree represents Nimrod- the slain God reborn. The ancient practice of kissing under the mistletoe bough, most common to the Druids, was derived from Babylon, and was a representation of the Messiah, "The man the branch." The mistletoe was regarded as a divine branch --a branch that came from heaven and grew upon a tree that sprung out of the earth. Nimrod, the God of nature, was symbolized by a great tree. But having been cut down and killed in his prime, he was now symbolized as a branchless tree stump, called the Yule Log. Then the great serpent came and wrapped itself around Nimrod (the stump). Miraculously, a new tree appeared at the side of the stump, which symbolized Nimrod’s resurrection and victory over death.

This looks very nice and positive.

Looking forward to add myself to this!

I suggest using a meta data remover for this, it's very important. (JG/Admin should edit this in thread)

Hello my dear family, happy Yuletide.

I will very likely draw something, and maybe even put some decorative arrangement together, should i post them here, or in the arts thread?

I love this idea :D . I'm no artist, but I will do my best to draw something cool for this occassion.

Happy Yuletide brother,

You can share it all in this here tread, If you want to share it in the arts tread you can do that as well of-course. This tread is made to hold all of the drawings, pictures and other fun stuff though.

This is an awesome idea! I hope this can inspire people to bring forth their creative abilities.

Although I personally can't afford to show my art publicly, I still hope to see everybody else's artwork. I'd like to imagine how the art posted by users here will inspire others to draw something themselves, too, especially when there's a festive element involved. I think it's a great way to engage the community in something we can all involve our heartfelt efforts in.

Art is an expression of the soul. I look forward to seeing everyone's submissions!

Lately I had been working on wanting to see the gods, and I keep in mind that it is not good to have a pre-established image of a god but I felt that this could help me understand some of their essence. The ones I did with AI were:

This drawing is specially for this event!

Happy Yule family!!! :)

Greetings. I wanted to share my work but I forgot how to upload an image. I found a small squirrel sculpture around my house and I painted it, now it is really good looking. I think it suits the Yule Tree, I always imagined Yule Trees to have squirrels roaming trough them. 🎄

For me as well brother, you probably noticed it but the image is not showing :( You probably copy / pasted the wrong code, you need the BBCode for it to show.

Sounds good, if you want to make a photograph do remove the meta data first from that picture. After that you can upload it on a site like tinypic, you will get a couple of options after uploading, take the BBCode from it and paste that on the forums.

So you are quite the artist huh, can't wait to see it. Do remember that everyone can see your painting on here, it can possibly reveal your identity.

Even AI acknowledge their beautiful Names to be of Gods, not monsters.

Since you accept recipes as well, here are a couple.

Tiramisú
Ingredients:
 4 eggs
 4 tablespoons of sugar
 500g mascarpone
 a cup of coffee (espresso size, diluted with water)
 cocoa powder as needed
 sponge fingers as needed (my mother's side of the family prefers using savoiardi, the father's side prefers using pavesini)

Procedure:
(Optional) If you're keeping eggs in the fridge for health and safety reasons, remove them from the fridge at least 15 minutes before starting. Regulations on eggs vary by country. In England, for example, they are already safe to eat without refrigerating them.
1. Divide egg yolks and egg whites.
2. Take one mixing bowl and beat the whites. This needs to be done until, when you lift the whisk/fork, the whites don't fall off. I prefer using an electric whisk.
3. In another mixing bowl, beat the yolks until they have little bubbles in them.
4. Gradually add mascarpone to the beaten whites and keep beating until the compound has the same texture as before adding the mascarpone.
5. Add sugar to the yolks and beat them again.
6. After both compounds are ready, you can mix them together and beat them. That's your filling ready.
7. Grab a tray - I use a glass one in rectangular shape but you can also use aluminum and other shapes to suit to your tastes - wet the sponge fingers in the coffee and lay a layer in the tray. The fingers don't need to be so wet that they crumble.
8. Then lay enough filling on the fingers so that they are fully covered.
9. Repeat step 7 and 8 to make a second and third layer of both sponge and fingers.
10. Cover the tray with aluminum foil or wrapping and refrigerate for at least 2 and a half hours. If you are short on time, you can do at least half an hour in the freezer but I do not recommend it.
11. After sufficient time has passed, take the tray out of the fridge and uncover it.
12. You can now pour cocoa powder over it until the top is fully coated.
13. Enjoy!

Things to avoid:
 Sponge cake is not a suitable replacement for lady fingers.
 Whipped cream is not a suitable replacement for the mascarpone filling.
 Alcohol ruins the taste of tiramisú, completely changing it. It's not in the original recipe and it's not recommended at all, for health reasons as well. Alcohol is for the weak, the complacent and the inferior. It's for subhumans, not for SS.
 You don't need milk, neither fresh nor condensed.

This is a dessert you can eat year-round and one of my favourite ones. I will share more Yule-themed recipes soon.

Damn, that's one savage quote for my quotebook.

I will certainly try that recipe though, if I find the time. Looks rather delicious.

I did say I was going to attempt to draw something for this contest, I thought I'd share how I'm progressing more or less. Here goes:
mc-20231213_214216.jpeg

It's my first time drawing, and I've had like 5 - 10 hours worth of practice in total + about 30 minutes worth of Youtube tutorials, so I'm not entirely sure how well I might be able to draw Lord Amon for the 20th, but I will try. Any feedback is appreciated, my figures don't look very natural or organic, and I still mess up proportions, not to mention that drawing different poses is a whole challenge :?

I've always wanted to try my hand at drawing, but never found the drive to do so, especially since the process can be quite tedious, and between university and other responsibilities, it would eat up quite the amount of time. This contest has pushed me beyond that first step of actually taking the pencil and the paper to draw, so thank you for the opportunity, SSinHeartAndSoul.

These are my 2 most "human" creations so far

My mother was planning on making Tiramisú for Yule, you arrive just in time, thanks for the recipe. Also based alcohol hater.

Sounds really good, i do like some good tiramisu from time to time so i will definitely try it out some time, probably not this yule though. :p

And yeah this tread is also meant for interacting with other SS, to get into the Yuletide spirit so to say, recipes fit the bill perfectly.

I did say I was going to attempt to draw something for this contest, I thought I'd share how I'm progressing more or less. Here goes:

That is a good start, for someone with so little experience you are doing great. I have done a little bit of drawing myself in the past (Nothing note worthy i must add  ), from what i learned it is easier to draw people or animate objects using rectangles, you shape the rectangles later when you are satisfied with the positioning.

Thank you for sharing, and don't worry about not making the deadline, take all the time you need and upload it some other time. :)

Lately I had been working on wanting to see the gods, and I keep in mind that it is not good to have a pre-established image of a god but I felt that this could help me understand some of their essence. The ones I did with AI were:

Thank you for suggesting this, Brother. Although I have been busy this month and managed to only see this now, it's a refreshing idea and I enjoyed this a lot.

Maybe we should have a 'gallery' in the Forum where SS display their art for people who visit us? There's still so much misinformation about our Gods and what Spiritual Satanism is, I find that a visual reference helps big time when there's people who still think of red skin/tail/horns and such. Our Gods are beyond beautiful, other than incredibly powerful, and images of their Greatness should populate the internet. I think this would lead more people to think they need to learn more and read from the JoS. 1 image, a 1000 words, right? :p

Many people suddenly develop new interests based on something they saw somewhere and tickled their curiosity, especially when 'magick' is the key factor as many are genuinely intrigued by it, yet know nothing of it.

HAPPY YULE!

HAIL SATAN!

... the father's side prefers using pavesini...
 Please don't do it, just... don't do it.
it's worse than you might think, you can't use pavesini for tiramisù, it's awful.
It's just like pasta with ketchup, you can't do that, it's bad for Italy.

Adding some advice, if someone does not like coffee, you can use hot milk mixed with bitter cocoa.
If you like coffee, don't use the capsule coffee, but the one made with a mocha, and mix it with milk, not water.

Stormblood bro you have a lot of talents in that locker of yours brilliant. :D

I personally don't think it makes much difference in terms of what you say. If you made the sponge fingers yourself, it would be more like in your example, in my opinion. My father's side prefers pavesini because they are thinner. If they have to use savoiardi, they split the length in half.

I think it's the same as making/buying fresh pasta vs buying hard, prepackaged pasta made from Barilla and similar brands. Or making your own biscuits and cookies vs buying them already made. The fresh version will always taste better. Unfortunately, my birth family doesn't make fresh pasta anymore. My grandma used to make it at times but she died a couple of years ago, a few months before the Queen of England. She was about a year older too.

I missed the opportunity of learning how to make gnocchi from her, as I wasn't interested in learning how to cook traditional things back then. I never buy gnocchi in supermarket, never did even when I lived in Italy because they just taste wrong to me.
