Recently I got a promotion at work. While I am happy to be more financially stable, I have longer hours and have had a difficult time adjusting to first shift rather than second. I keep falling asleep when I come home and do my meditations and I hate that this keeps happening. Should I try going back to a shorter meditation schedule and then building back up to where I was at or just keep trying and hoping I dont fall asleep? I'm a bit frustrated and feel guilty for not having enough energy to give my best like I used to. Any tips on how to deal with this?
Thank you for your time.

I’m not sure what your hours are or diet is but it may be helpful to clean up your diet which could help with energy. I personally do vibrations that I need in the car and make time for trances and deeper meditations at night when everyone is finally asleep, or in the shower when doors are locked. It works for me. I’m also insanely tired often, sometimes I also just fall asleep. With enough willpower it works. Focus and training. Just try to manage your time better and do what you can when you can. Sometimes I would do RTR’s on breaks at work, sometimes I would go some time without any deep meditations or rituals to catch up with myself. Just keep living your life and do what you can.

Congratulations! I am happy for you!

Urgh.. there is no easy solution to this. Same happened to me recently, I had to work for 9-10hrs a day, study for university and do other things.. I slept for 5hrs a day or so.. what I did was to meditate, while sitting on the ground, after I fell asleep for a moment, I just continued. When I finished my meditations, I crawled in my bed and „died“. Sometimes I got up 1 hour earlier and meditated, before I started my day.

However, don’t sacrifice your sleep. Try to maintain a sound sleeping schedule.

Better solutions would be to reduce your schedule, like you mentioned, and/or start your meditations earlier.
Let’s say you get home at 6p.m. Then do your meditations at 7p.m.

I know it’s hard.. but transformation in life never comes without pain in a sense.

Good Luck!

From what I feel, ignoring sleep is bad for your soul.
Maybe you could change your schedule a little and sleep early to wake up early ?
Then, you could have extra time for meditation before you freshen yourself and start your day.

I also meditated while driving.. It seemed to be a good idea, spending time on empowering yourself, instead of just listening music and "wasting" your time in a sense.
On my way home from work, I "opened" my Ida & Pingala channels, but only the upper part within my brain... Oh well, I can imagine safer places than a car, which is moving at high speeds, when this happens. This can be potentially dangerous.

I read your other post as well, I am glad and happy for you.
This shows, that you can overcome any and every problem you face in life.

Thank you for your advice! I plan pretty much every hour of the day and do not have any breaks at work. I think I can maybe do some short meditations in the car though, that would be helpful :) I am trying my best. I think maybe it'll just take some time to adjust.
Thanks again!

I would say doing foundation meditation and brahmari while driving is quite safe. Same for some mantras, aura cleaning, aop these are all quite safe to do while driving a car.

One member said he did void meditation while driving. I would not recommend, because going on the deep end will increase the risk for accident so much.

I just got a job for 12 hours. I had to cut my meditations shorter:( but at least I'm being able o trance easier now. I don't k ow why but I get home sleepy as fok. And can't sleep. Also sleep depravation makes me hallucinate sometimes,, it gets hard to concentrate.

Do most of your meditations and rituals before (or during, if doable) work, when you wake up so that you won't have as much energy when sleepytime comes so that you can get to sleep easier.

That does seem to have helped. The only issue is when someone calls in and I have to stay until close. Thank you for your advice!

I think I will try that. Maybe not so much on the busy roads but as I get closer to home the roads are further out and not so much traffic.

Thank you :) Yeah within a year I went from working minimum wage riding a bicycle 12 miles to work when my car broke down to making twice as much (before I was really struggling to even eat enough let alone eat healthy) and living comfortably and securely. I believe Father Satan helped me through some really bad times. I am so grateful for the changes in my life and I will continue to try my best. Reading and listening to HP Maxine's old sermons also really helped me keep going when things were so bad. I've been anxious about not having as much time but I believe things will work out for the best.

No one should do void while driving. Seriously, that is incredibly dangerous. Far worse than being on the phone.

Unless you are a trucker or something in the US or similar places with long straight roads and almost no traffic for hundreds of miles, and driving is practically second nature to you, never do any kind of deep meditations or meditations that require significant focus while driving at all, even in the above scenario it is unsafe to do, but I could understand why someone might try to do it. If there’s traffic, or the road is dangerous, just don’t meditate deeply.

Even AoP I would not suggest doing while driving. When I do AoP my focus on it is no less than when doing void or light trance. No way this is safe when driving.

Mantra work I could see being fine, as the attention required for just vibrating them is similar to say singing along with the radio while driving, which quite some people do, but again, for the best results of any meditation, light trance is required, this cannot be safely achieved while driving.

Just vibrating mantra’s still has effect, and will raise some energy, but try to have at least 1 hour a day, either split up, or continuous, where you can meditate with undivided attention. 30 minutes of meditation after waking up and before sleep can do a lot.

I also often do aura cleaning during my morning shower, and AoP right after. Cleaning generally doesn’t take too long, and fits pretty well with the time I take for my shower. Bathrooms are pretty good places to find some privacy to do meditations, and with how bright bathrooms often are with the lights on, it can help you stay awake as well if you get home tired to do some meditation in there at night.

Recently I’ve been learning more on the importance of feeling. To really get the best results from meditation, one must be in a light trance at least and really feel the energy work. This requires undivided attention to achieve, so it isn’t compatible with tasks where some amount of focus is required unfortunately.

From Sundara’s reply, I don’t think they meant they meditate while driving anyway, I think they meant that they do it in the car, outside of the house, to have privacy in order to meditate.

Yes.

It's still dangerous due to wildlife.

Even AoP I would not suggest doing while driving. When I do AoP my focus on it is no less than when doing void or light trance. No way this is safe when driving.
My aop is basically vibrating Algiz, so it would work, but I don't like the idea of driving and doing these things. I'm only barely comfortable doing Brahmari, and foundation breathing exercises while driving. Then again I barely use a car, fortunately.

Mantra work I could see being fine, as the attention required for just vibrating them is similar to say singing along with the radio while driving, which quite some people do, but again, for the best results of any meditation, light trance is required, this cannot be safely achieved while driving.

Yes, having a separate time and place for meditation is key as it trains mind to be in the meditative state. Even if it's a place like shower.

Recently I’ve been learning more on the importance of feeling. To really get the best results from meditation, one must be in a light trance at least and really feel the energy work. This requires undivided attention to achieve, so it isn’t compatible with tasks where some amount of focus is required unfortunately.
This is very true.

From Sundara’s reply, I don’t think they meant they meditate while driving anyway, I think they meant that they do it in the car, outside of the house, to have privacy in order to meditate.
Quite possibly, didn't think that. I just assumed "while driving" because one other member did something while driving due to having time constraints. I shouldn't assume so much, maybe!
