Summoned a daemon but have questions now

I summoned a daemon formally and not to help myself but to help us all. I didn't get any signs of said daemon being there but I did dowse (yes, I know it can be unreliable) to see if the daemon was there and it gave me a yes so I made the request and in return gave some energy (which the pendulum also said was agreeable with the daemon). Did I do this wrong being I didn't see any daemon? I've already asked and gave something though; trusting in the pendulum. I've seen no changes for us yet but they may come. It was a pretty big request. I don't know the scope of our daemons ability when it comes to such huge tasks. Or even if the demon heard me even know the pendulum said that she did. I would share more about it but I believe it's better to keep my request between myself and the daemon. Thank you for any advice. Maybe someone with more experience with them than myself can answer : )
