I am very bored with meditating and doing yoga, I came up with the idea of meditating on pictures and doing yoga with music, but it is still not enough for me. Can you give me some tips on how to improve my interest in self-development?

There's no way to avoid this. No matter what you do to make it more interesting, sooner or later you will feel boredom because that's your mind's normal reaction to being trained.

What you should do is push through boredom. Even if you are bored, keep doing it, bring your mind bacl to the meditation/yoga every time it gets carried away and a few days later your mind will give way after realizing that its tricks don't work on you.

You can see it in a different way too: Do you take regular showers? If yes, do you say "well taking a shower is boring, I need to make it interesting"? Obviously not. You just do it anyway because it's important to be clean. In the same way, you do meditations and yoga because they're important for your spiritual health and development.

Make sure you have a specific time you meditate every day and don't miss it.

Think about what how motivation and discipline is created. Solar motivation = acting to gain a reward. If you can think about why you want to meditate and what benefits it has, then this will stimulative motivation. As you gain competency, like achieving success based off a ritual, or feel happy after cleaning, then this proves to your mind the reward and reality that can be achieved from your efforts.

Regarding discipline, experience doing it makes it easier, plus you build resilience towards it. It is easier to do it without fighting it. Discipline also comes when we know the pain that arises when we stop something. For example, you stop and your energy drops, or fail to do an AOP and get hurt, then you learn the importance of it.

The runes that represent these concepts are Sowilo and Nauthiz, so you can chant these and program them to help, in addition to using the above information to create motivation.

Lastly, make sure you are not raping your brain with video games or porn, doom-scrolling, etc. In varying degrees, these can train your brain to seek out cheap sources of gratification, which makes everything else feeling boring.

The only useful way is to make your visualisations more fanciful and personally interesting to you such as imagining you are a Super Saiyan or something.

Find interesting visual referrences from media you enjoy that align with JoS spiritual practices/meditations.

Don't use music, you have to feel the agony and groaning of your mind.
Only then will you heal and reach the state of "understanding.
Learn to deal with boredom. One way to make boredom "good" is to challenge yourself to feel its pain. You'll feel more energized and ready to meditate when you do this to yourself
