Post (Modified): I study everyday, meditate everyday but have a work too for 8 hours everyday 5 times per week. The more I study I see clearly Hooded Cobra is super advanced, kind and generous. I admire others Lydia and Blitskreig. Hes very helpful. I want to be like him too.

I cannot completely understand for people like High priest cobra for now but he surely meditates for hours & does a hard work. It feels superhuman to me but i cannot let myself down either. Sometimes I let myself down by thinking that I will not achieve that. How can I control this thinking?

Thoughts? Advice? Please help? How to make it faster? Thanks to jos I can have this dream now

i go by the name **********. Wont comment on ********* cause I am afraid for *************

Try to be your own superior and developed, not someone else's

Hello :)

It takes time, and lifetimes. HP HoodedCobra most likely has done a lot of advancing in his previous lifetimes to be where he is now (Clergy for JoS).

Don't ever feel bad about your own advancement, know that you are doing the best you can, and you are free to take some time to chill! Don't burn yourself out. It's a lifelong journey, not a sprint :)

You should not compare your progress with others, because when it comes to the spiritual, there are innumerable factors to consider as you advance.

Some examples people don't consider as much are your upbringing, the level/amount of programming you have endured and have to clean out, your lifestyle, the people/environment you are in, and so on and so forth. The list is nearly endless.

Your path is drastically different, and influenced by innumerable factors. Thus trying to gauge your advancement in comparison to the progress of others is a pointless endeavor. These people you have mentioned, they all have their own lives and their own path and factors that make their speed of progress unique to them.

You should not attempt to follow in the footsteps of others for their path is different to yours. Something that to one person comes almost naturally and very quickly, can take another person several months if not years to achieve. Your journey is your own and you should embrace this. The key to truly advance is not to bombard your mind with thoughts of inadequacy, but instead to do things at your own pace and progress in a steady and healthy speed for you.

We've seen many people come trying to meditate every hour of the day and completely burn themselves out and end up quitting and leaving. And in the worst of cases, people pushing themselves too far and fast may damage themselves in the process. One step at a time.

As for wanting to contribute, you may create an account in the forums and contribute how you can, answering questions is the most accessible way to contribute, or you may contact other members to join existing projects such as this service.

The longer you remain dedicated on this path, studying and meditating, the more knowledge and experience you accumulate, and the more knowledge and experience you have the more you can contribute with, and be subsequently rewarded by the old gods.

The best thing you can do to combat these thoughts is to stop trying to compare your progress with that of others, and walk your own path at your own pace instead of trying to walk in the footsteps of others.

Please don't guilt trip yourself, comparing yourself to others can be very dangerous for your mind...
Dont forget that someone like Cobra has prob many previous lives of advancement behind him so of course he is steps ahead everyone else but don't forget that everyone starts somewhere and as long as you advance, participate in the final rituals and spread the JOS message you re good, no need to rush, rushing will only hurt yourself.

Also from what i remember Cobra said there were days where he worked 12 hours a day and he sacrificed his sleep for meditation and that he gave every last bit of his life force to Satan will but HE DOESN'T RECOMMAND THAT SO PLEASE DONT RUSH YOURSELF INTO BURNING YOURSELF PLEEASSEEE..
Stay strong man! :D

Please do not do this and recognize yourself for being yourself and how much you already are achieving with yourself.

From what you write you are serious and doing great. But if you gain your traction by comparing to others this will likely lead to incessant disappointments based on excessive ideas and assumptions. That's comparing negatively.

I am just here to help and so on. If you put the standards of others on yourself you will get tired, weary and as others have said guilty. The whole point is for everyone to be their individual self. If you think you gain things from me that is great, to have a positive example is good like you stated with others, but if you force their obligations on yourself you will eventually not advance as you intended.

Without mentioning more specific things about advancement the rest of the answered question is difficult, but please try to focus on what I wrote in the above paragraph to find your balance.

My own decisions are NOT recommended nor I am to pretend they are all great and everything if applied on others, they are part of my nature and sacrifices needed for others and myself. That is NOT the "most optimal" and like an athelete, I follow a specific type of life in the spiritual field. This comes at a cost, for example.

Everything is like a diet and must be suited for one's individual self. We cannot all be the same, we can only be ourselves.

Judging from your reply I think you are doing already pretty well so just keep rocking it and try to remove the comparisson mentality as we are all individual entities and that will accelerate your progress. Look at others for inspiration or even a small amount of comparisson if you cannot remove this completely, and walk with your own pace on the path of the Gods that has been set.
