Hello there are a few questions that are still a concern to me, Jos presents a story of a suposed golden age long ago in the past, uncorrupted by Jewish trash, so far so good, but I find gar to believe that in the past there was a golden age of peace and harmony with the gods, there is plenty of archeological evidence that suggests that the past was brutal forget concepts like justice equality along with many comforts we take for granted nowadays, there was plenty murder rape definitely pagan human sacrifice, I'm not judging I understand it's part of the times just evidence, and some of you guys are saying that gentiles would not rape plunder murder etc etc, I this gentiles have the same instincts that may emerge due to the harshness or adversity of the environment people live on and under such circumstances yes I think they would do such horrible things, and where does that leave the suposed golden age? I mean no offense just som questions in my mind

If you read the JoS page on the "War in heaven" carefully, it also says that the environment was good because the Gods were physically on earth and were helping us and humanity was both spiritually and technologically advanced and civilized, they were not barbarians. We were in fact close to being Gods and had many psychic/advanced abilities that modern humans only dream of, or watch about in science fiction movies. Humanity degenerated after the Gods left because they lost a battle and actually humanity became worse and lost most of its power. It's been explained there.

You seem to believe the mainstream linear view of history where mankind merely evolved in a linear way from worse to better and not the cyclical view that humanity was advanced and then degenerated and we're now recovering our lost splendor and morality, but haven't reached it in full.

This view is common in Hinduism for example. It mentions the Satya Yuga which was the Golden Age and now we live in the Kali Yuga, the worst of all, but the Golden Age will come again in the future. That's the cyclical view of history: the world doesn't progress in a linear way but moves in cycles from the golden age to the dark age and back again to the golden age.

Even New Agers in their channeled materials (see Edgar Cayce for example) also mention Atlantis being a highly advanced civilization, even more advanced than our current state, and that it was destroyed because of a flood, and their survivors went to Egypt and founded the Egyptian civilization, which wasn't as advanced as Atlantis because much of its knowledge was lost.

Just to clarify: When the JoS mentions the Golden age, it doesn't refer to ancient Greece or Rome or even Egypt or any other Pagan culture. It refers to a civilization more than 10,000 years ago that reached its peak in the Age of Leo, about 12,000 years ago when the Gods were physically on earth. Although JoS doesn't mention it specifically, I believe it could have been centered on the lost continent of Atlantis, which was destroyed about 10,000 years ago according to many non-mainstream sources. Its timing fits perfectly with the info on JoS, which says that the earth was attacked 10,000 years ago and the Gods were forced to leave and humanity started degenerating.

Nobody here denies Pagans didn't know brutality, especially the closer we get to our current time. However, when were refer to the Golden Age we are alluding to a time when the races of Man were at their most high. And that there was peace, prosperity, and abundance. Mythic civilizations did NOT invade neighbouring lands and pillage and rape; there was no need for that as the consciousness was so high.

"Evidence" is filtered now. It is easy for those in high places to post a "National Geographic Study" of how hateful vikings were, or, how the average Pagan bathed in blood blah blah. Be critical. Deprogram.
