Recently I started reading a book about building a food forest.
Basicly what this is: You need at least 1/2 hectare ground. On which you plant food giving trees, perennials (not annuals or 2 year plants) from which you can harvest foods, like berry plants, in example. You can add herbs in there, and basicly you are supposed to have different layers of plants in different heights.

They touch on 'being aware of how nature works', simulating a forest edge, as that is the most prosperous area where stuff grows (though vegetables are excluded) this also touches on the subject of permaculture.

A recommended book on the subject is one by Martin Crawford, called Creating a Forest Garden.

Also they say that spending a lot of time weeding etc is not necessary.
(also as that would disturb the soil and this can cause imbalances and as a result of that, lack of nutrients in the soil)

Personally Im against planting bamboo because it is basicly an invading species, and a pain in the arse to get rid of. Their roots can grow from 60cm-1m deep into the soil, and they seem to clump quite well and keep growing and taking up more and more space.
Even if you place them in some kind of container it can still be very annoying to deal with.

It's not a matter really of the mask itself blocking the pathogens, it's the risk on part of the wearer. I've taken many CPR courses and there is major stress upon knowing where your hands are going at all times and ensuring that absolutely zero contact comes between your skin and the casualty/ies bodily fluids, blood, etc; there are very specific ways to take off gloves and everything. This is the same in with viruses where the slightest mistake in contact with the virus and your hands completely overrules the purpose of the mask.

Also there are articles claiming the virus can also be contracted through the eyes, making masks themselves useless. Even with goggles my statement of contact and being aware of your hands still stands, there is too much room for error. I will not stop you from choosing to wear one if that is what you truly want to do, but in my personal opinion it is likely more risky as you will be more prone to touching around your face, mouth and eyes to adjust, put on or take off the mask/goggles/etc. In regards to air-born matters, a mask is very beneficial, but in the large majority of reports of this virus it has been contracted by physical contact. Just use common sense and be sanitary.

I will also stress here that the Aura of Protection does protect against things such as disease, viruses and what-have-you. I live in a household of 10 to 13 people, and every time something goes around, they all get sick one after the other like a domino effect, but I am always the one who never gets afflicted and they have even commented on this to their amusement. Keep your pets indoors (some dog breeds hunt them) if you can. Get a few rat bait station boxes, they can be placed around your property and is save so other animals or pets cant get into the poison. If you find a carcass dispose it in a safe way. Get to a medical supply store and stock up on a box of nitrile or latex gloves and learn how to use them correctly, the correct way to take them off etc. Get alcohol based soap from the medical supply store and wash areas where you find droppings or areas where you think there could be rat saliva etc. (Chew marks)

Recently I started reading a book about building a food forest.
Basicly what this is: You need at least 1/2 hectare ground. On which you plant food giving trees, perennials (not annuals or 2 year plants) from which you can harvest foods, like berry plants, in example. You can add herbs in there, and basicly you are supposed to have different layers of plants in different heights.

They touch on 'being aware of how nature works', simulating a forest edge, as that is the most prosperous area where stuff grows (though vegetables are excluded) this also touches on the subject of permaculture.

A recommended book on the subject is one by Martin Crawford, called Creating a Forest Garden.

Also they say that spending a lot of time weeding etc is not necessary.
(also as that would disturb the soil and this can cause imbalances and as a result of that, lack of nutrients in the soil)

Personally Im against planting bamboo because it is basicly an invading species, and a pain in the arse to get rid of. Their roots can grow from 60cm-1m deep into the soil, and they seem to clump quite well and keep growing and taking up more and more space.
Even if you place them in some kind of container it can still be very annoying to deal with.

well for me where i live bamboo grows naturally here.

but like i said there are different kinds. there is a clumping varierty and stays where you plant it, unlike the "running" variety of bamboo. you just have to do a little research..
