How to train willpower?

First off there are different kinds of willpower. Yellow Mercurian willpower, Black Plutonian willpower, Red physical willpower, Gold Solar willpower etc

They are all called as willpower because they fit the definition but they are also different.

I suggest you look to your chart and see which of your planets are in detriment or fall or weakened. Then strengthen those planets accordingly.

Is there any exercise or meditation to train my willpower?
Consistently get done what you have to get done without compromises. The more you do it, the stronger your willpower will get and your confidence will increase as well. The more you don't do what you set out to do, the weaker your willpower will become. It's like a muscle.

Do challenging things and push through the pain and discomfort. A good way to do this is working out with the goal of building muscle and strength. In the first year I wouldn't push to failiure consistently if I was you, but when you are in that pain that can feel unbearable sometimes and you push through it and you get it done, that's where you build your willpower and show to yourself what you're made of. It's very underrated how physical training builds willpower and confidence, HPS Maxine talked about this too.

Control your urges. Let's say you really want to check social media right now, instead of giving in immediately, make yourself wait 5 minutes. This build your prefrontal cortex, you develop better self control. You can apply this to every impulse you have.

Like Henu said Void Meditation also builds willpower. Why? Because you train to impose your will despite a very big challenge, in this case relentless intrusive thoughts and distractions. And this is the basic principle to build your willpower, get it done and impose your will despite of the discomfort or challenge.

Exercise in general is actually a very effective way of improving willpower. When one exercises they exert effort and energy into the activity. Let's use push ups as an example. If one that never exercised before suddenly starts doing push ups its very difficult. One might only be able to barely do one. To do that single push required effort both physically but mentally as well. It's painful but one pushes through. As they consistently perform a single push up every day they could increase it to 2, then to 10, and eventually can reach 100. But to reach that level of being able to do 100 push ups strength needs to be built. To build that strength that person needs to consistently do those push ups. That takes will. And this is how will is built and trained upon. By using one's will it cultivates itself.

Spiritually, willpower is ruled by the Solar Plexus Chakra and is the root of all action. When one does anything it requires will. Think of those that sit and do nothing all day. They have no will, no internal strength. They are fearful, stagnant, and simply follow the whims of everything and everyone around them. Those with strong will have an effect of pulling those around them into action. This is because they themselves give off that energy and it directs others through it. By working on cleaning and empowering the solar plexus chakra it strengthens all it rules over which includes willpower.

If you want to work on will power directly, meditate upon it. The process would be similar to the Spirit Meditation on the JoS. In a light trance focus on your solar plexus chakra. The will is here. Try to feel it and become aware of it and then focus upon it. Do this for a few minutes. Will power is life energy and can keep you awake and active so its best not to do this before bed. By being aware of the will one can better make use of it.

There are several special recommendations that have worked for me personally. Despite the fact that I have never been a particularly “weak-willed” person, the tasks that I set for myself required a greater amount of will than what I had, and so:

1 Try not drinking coffee and tea for 1 day/1 week/1 month. Here and below, the formula 1 1 1 is the conditional difficulty levels of the challenge.
2 In the same way, 1 day without social networks.
3 Intermittent fasting. Only if you do not have special warnings from your doctor. And never go hungry for weeks at a time.
4 DAILY TRAINING, the plank exercise was especially useful for me personally, try to develop your will by training it for minutes and developing it.
5 Introduce any positive habits that require daily attention, it will get better over time. For example, do yoga or light stretching immediately after waking up.
6 CREATIVE CHALLENGES, for example, you can set yourself a task to do something for your work or hobby every day: write one essay a day, do a certain number of tasks as a challenge for yourself. Completing such challenges creates confidence in the future that you are capable and strengthens self-confidence.
7 Find the type of activity that causes the greatest resistance and laziness - and start doing it in spite of yourself, for the sake of testing yourself. Some people may not like cooking or cleaning, it could be whatever it is for you personally.

Void meditation and Hatha+Kundalini Yoga

Void meditation will increase your focus, while yoga will help increase your capacity of witchpower/vril/chi. This combination of "strong focus + higher vril" is going to make your 'Will' stronger. Whatever you would want to focus towards, will remain in focus, and whatever you think, would manifest faster than usual. There is no limit to this, keep increasing this.

Good luck.

I know this a beginner question, but can you tell me how you do void meditation? I read on JoS how to do it and im confused, I ignore thoughts in my head and focus on spot on a wall. Do I need to do something else?

Simply reject all thoughts and focus only on the point. Your mind should be empty. Really focus on seeing only the point and nothing else, it's really simple, maybe that's why you have doubts, you maybe think you should do something more but that's really it. Being relaxed and in a trance state really helps too.

This exercise also teaches you how to keep your eyes completely still and this will benefit you tremendously when you will try projecting energy from them. The eyes are great projectors of energy (same as the hands), but if they continously move a little bit they cannot focus their energy to a point. Once you can keep them completely still, the amount of energy they can project will drastically increase. Learnig to keep them open for long enough is also important. Then you can then use this ability to improve rapidly in seeing energies like auras, (you will notice if you try watching someone's aura as soon as your eyes move a little, or you close them for a second, you will lose the image), to influence others with your energies, to develop powers like Telekinesis and so on.

You can also do the other variants of the exercise:
ADVANCED VOID MEDITATION:

  • Visualize an object and hold the image in your mind. At first, it will fade in and out, but as you progress, it will remain longer and longer. This is definitely a needed ability for magickal practice and focusing your mind power.

  • Focus on a specific chant or sound. You can do this either aloud or in your head. This is what is known as a "mantra." You breathe in and on the exhale, chant a specific mantra or tone of your choice. One common chant used in kundalini yoga is "Sa Ta Na Ma." This is pronounced "Sah- Tah- Nah- Mah." You can also chant "Sa Tan" "Say-Tahn" or "Say- Tahn- Nah- S-S-S-S."

  • Focus on a specific emotion- anger, happiness, sadness, love, hate. You can choose an emotion going by how you feel on a specific day. This is excellent training for advanced ritual.

  • Focus on a specific texture, for example, running your fingers back and forth across velvet or a terry towel.

  • Focus on a specific odor or taste.

Although they are similar there is a difference between Void Meditation, the complete absence of thought, and thought concentration, which means focusing on a thought/idea/image. These last variants are more about thought concentration. You should master both, but don't underestimate Void Meditatioin, it's key to develop your spiritual senses and powers. Once you will master it you will be very close to opening the door to the spiritual world.

Hey, I was doing void meditation like you said, and i see results. One question... you said my mind should be empty, do you mean before I start with meditation? How to make the mind empty?

It means you shouldn't think. Not before the meditation, but during the meditation.

Question. Does this website? Have the rules format? That I can read and follow....? Because I just want to know what I'm supposed to do and can and can't do? When it comes to getting all these forms? If you know what I mean? Hint hint? Because I would like to read up on them... as a guest and a member on here?...so I won't break any rules or get into any trouble in the future...???🫡🙂... And can you start this 40-day program anytime? Or do you have to wait till like the full moon at the end of the month? And do some kind of a cleansing before you start the program? As a jump start?

You should start with the 40 day they program. Avoid starting during a Void of Course, other than that you can start anytime. Don't think too much about it, meditate and work on yourself, you will really benefit from it!
