this is just my theory, but is it true I read that the gods could transform in animals, I was thinking because everything is vibration and if your mind and soul are strong and you have the knowledge you could do things like this, like altering your own vibrations and then altering them back. If this is true you could even alter yourself into anime characters. Jw

The question has more complex meanings and processes , in reality you can't alter yourself into anime characters as they are non-objects character and IREAL , you could be an anime character in a lucid dream most probably as everything is possible there but not in 'reality' , altering energies is transforming and being something else that already is.

You cannot physically transform into a cartoon character but through spiritual "shapeshifting" others may perceive you with the same vibe/personality traits as said character.

As for transforming into animals, I am not sure if they can literally transform into animals but it is more likely they can just present themselves as such, to alter one's perception, but not literally into an animal. Though, they could probably do both if they really wanted to but it would obviously be harmful long-term.

Mostly, these are just spiritual allegories to demonstrate a complex concept into a digestible form.
