If you saw a God after a ritual, this is an awesome sign, and now you can see they are real. But be more specific next time, as they do not appear physically (flesh and blood) literally, but spiritually, in a Human form, yes.

WE are all entitled to our opinion here, and yes I admit I was a bit "over the top" with my first reply, but I believe my second reply was quite in line with the OP.

Get a reality check and just think for a moment; why would a God appear to a rank novice who has very little spiritual advancement and "grant him a wish"???? It's ABSURD and insulting to the Gods!
