Dude, I don't know where I saw this, if it was here on the forum or somewhere else. It's related to the word "no" in the statement, that using "no" would generate the opposite result, because it would be using a negative word. I don't remember if that was exactly the logic.
For example, if I say, whether in everyday life or in a spell, for example, "I don't smoke cigarettes...", "I don't drink beer...", "I don't do that..."... anyway, such statements would be generating a contrary result due to this "no".
Does this actually make sense?

You are probably referring to this article where it explains that continuing to use negative expressions such as "I don't have money" or "nobody loves me" programs your mind and your life to reinforce that situation:

Does this actually make sense?
Anyway, in general, apart from what I wrote previously, I actually advise you to make positive affirmations. This is not because the unconscious mind does not understand the negative, it does, but it understands it exclusively in relation to something positive and not immediately. Don't think of the Statue of Liberty! You thought of the Statue of Liberty. That's what I'm trying to explain to you.

Instead of saying "I do not smoke cigarettes", you can say for example "I am living my life smoke-free". You can apply this to any other affirmation.

It is not that a "no" would have an opposite effect , it's that it would have NO effect whatsoever because the energy do not understand this "no" , you're fucking up big times and basically anihilate everything by saying "no". Follow Henu's advice , the energy do not understand "when" neither , there's plenty of information's about it, just look on the forums.

That's not true, it all depends on your intention and if you really mean it.

Using other wording is better, but this will still program the energy correctly if you program it correctly.

So you're saying if I say " This energy has no effect against X" it will still work and do something against the other person? Although I precisely say "no" and my intent and emotion towards the other person is none ?

No.

"I do not smoke cigarettes" would work fine as an affirmation, it would NOT get you into more smoking.
OP is stating that this above affirmation could get you into more smoking, but this is not true.
