Can someone explain to me the difference between being proud and being arrogant (as an SS)?

Pride represents a positive feeling of self respect, where your worth is also verified by things you do, there is a proper estimate of your abilities, and is a balanced state. This state can be productive and good for people, both one's self and others. Pride therefore can be something important to defend.

The factor of the degree of reality, actual reason one should be this way, and the sense of value of the self in comparison to others and so on, decides whether or not one is "Arrogant" or "Prideful". Pride is not a negative word, it's actually a positive emotional state, which is attained after actually developing themselves.

In a metaphysical way, pride represents a balanced solar chakra, that is neither superfluous or deficient.

Arrogance generally requires little to no development as is a trait of those who have a very low understanding in general. It's mostly based on the false pretext that one has major self worth without really doing anything at all for themselves and others. Oftentimes, the reasoning for this is poor, focused on one's self, or if attainments are present, the person can be in full denial.

Arrogance is being a mentally poor with an overestimated sense of self value. It's always also characterized with a destructive force towards one's self or others. Being nothing, and generally being an imbalanced cancer that pretends in fake confidence that they have some value or reason that they have to love themselves so much.

Arrogance on the maximum is love of the self without reasoning and very synonymous with vanity. Generally these traits tend to present themselves together rather than separate. It also comes as a result of being poor in mind and spirit, but even poorer of understanding reality. As a result of one's own ignorance, others will suffer, ignorance is expanded, a situation which always tends to manifest in damage in one's self and others, due to lack of any actual abilities.

The imbalanced state towards the downside is to be neither prideful or arrogant, but rather have zero sense of self worth, a state which can also do major damage to one's self and other people around someone. If there is zero sense of self worth, that is also a destructive state like arrogance.

@HP.Cobra you mentioned the opposite as well i.e. unbalance the extremes a very xtianistic mentality. In other words neither the scales of balance nor the mechanism of fine balance. In other words the enemy devalues the individual, group, and society where even the basic triangle and board is all that there is of balance. There is no Libra like mechanical-scale that has mechanisms and properties to find an even finer balance.

In other words the normal way a person is to find balance in every day things. The triangle and board xtianity gives is too granular to find the fine tuned the scale mechanism carries. You can even state symbolically the scale i.e. mechanisms of fine granularity protect individual and mass of society by ensuring there is a reliable litmus test of balance.

But my question is if people find the opposite extreme not low-high-low(arrogance extreme bottom with extreme top a bell curve of self harming self and others) but the opposite zero. In other words a never risen or a destroyed from risen.

Then what about truth?

Say for example your not very good at anything you do you excel in some you do okay reasonable. But what if you self-value is based on truthful statement of understanding.

For example say your good at knitting to make "something" but in general your not good. Specifically as a specialist you can be okay but you never rise up and out. In general your seen as practically useless.

I guess what I'm trying to state is if pride to a balanced degree is good. And arrogance of most kinds except in an extreme case maybe as a bluff or some state of life and death is bad for the most part. Then what if you apply the truth to yourself understand yourself and realize. Hey wait a minute I'm actually a pretty crappy and shoddy person with a pathetic incapability to various life phenomenas?

In other words somehow by a miracle you live your life and somehow survive the day i.e. life is just a basic constituent of survival. But when delving into any subject you understand in as much basic, intermediate, and maybe even advanced stuff or even freestyle and mix and match and create mental constructs. But that's just it your good at mental/theoreticals maybe to an extreme but the very act of physically uploading things into reality from the self is truthfully unstellar.

What about when you apply the truth and even find yourself going I'm a worthless piece of shit?

Isn't it fair to state that if truth is important and main point in NS/SS. Then what if you purposefully realize your about as useless as a log. Like the old saying that person is dumber than a log. You might not be dumb but your capacity to actually do things makes you a log. Simply your as useless as a log on the ground but your mental faculties always express things differently. Almost as if your tripping on a hallucinogenic substance. Your mind is doing all these spectacular things. But the very act of bringing anything to the physical is extremely limited. People praise you for doing something but your self-worth truthfully is nothing to brag about.

What about this case i.e. truth meets worth?

Before pride must come self knowledge, higher cognition and sensitive appreciation of your experience. Family, Childhood, then Reality, Truth. Those things are what pride stems from. Put these before pride. Current society roots into pride first and usually into matters of money like showing off or sexual matters, which is a wrong state of being if the instinct within (as in how you go about those things) is tainted. First you should root into the given cycles of existence which the enemy used to cloud from us. Reflect on your childhood mind.

As Cancer the sign of Cognition precedes the Pride of Leo, as the 4th sign of Satan, so must that Pride actually be preceded and backed by that divine and immeasurably valuable acuity that you can develop in this forum. Don't measure yourself against others to the detriment of yourself.
