The ϟϟ officers rings or the Totenkopfring was originally a distinction awarded by Heinrich Himmler to the ϟϟ officers.
These rings have a mystical and esoteric design,designed by order of Himmler by Karl Maria Wiligut, known by some as Himmler's "Rasputin".
For Wiligut the runes contain in their encrypted code the entire history of the creation of humanity, originated in time immemorial in the territories of the North Pole.
Himmler commissioned Wiligut to design a powerful ring, with which to honor the extraordinary merits of the most prominent members of the ϟϟ, the so-called Skull Ring (Totenkopfring).

SS rings were made by the Munich firm Otto Gahr and were usually presented at promotional ceremonies.
The regulatory way to wear it was on the ring finger of the left hand with the skull facing up and towards the wearer.
The ring, which was not an official decoration, but a personal gift from Himmler, was originally awarded to the oldest officers (of whom there were fewer than 5,000) who had shown exceptional courage and command skills in combat. An inexcusable requirement was an impeccable disciplinary record, so that any stain on a wearer's would mean the return of the ring. In 1939 it was granted to any officer with 3 years of service and during the war practically all the commanders of the ϟϟ, including the Waffen-SS and the Gestapo, had the ring.
All rings were to be returned to Himmler upon the wearer's death or when he left the SS. They were then to be kept as a memory in Wewelsburg Castle. If a wearer was killed in combat, his comrades in the ϟϟ had to make every effort in their power to retrieve the ring and prevent it from falling into enemy hands.

In its front part it showed a skull on two crossed bones (a symbol of the SS inherited from former Prussian military units). Runic signs were added that should strengthen the "Germanic virtues" of its wearer.
Totenkopf (skull) with crossed bones signifies absolute obedience until death.
Triangle and Sig rune:
The Sig rune, pagan symbol of victory, symbolizes the Nazi greetings Heil and Sieg, literally means "the creative spirit always wins."
The triangle represents the Circle of Life (Birth, growth, death or past present future)
The Hagal rune.
It means: "Watch over the universe in you and you will dominate the universe."
The double Sig rune, followed by what looks like an overlap of the Tyr (God of War) rune with the O.
It means: "the strength of your spirit makes you free"
