Working for material possessions

Hello,

I have a little experience with money workings and workings for material possessions. The question I have is about having two people do a working for the same material goal. My boyfriend and I live together with kids and are both dedicated Spiritual Satanists. We have been doing the destruction ritual and other meditations and we want to add to it....
 We both want to do a working with the same material goal for our family. Can we both do a working or would that dilute the effectiveness? For example, let's say we are entering a contest of some sort and the prize is a car or a house or any other physical/tangible product or property. If we both do a working using the OTHAL rune, should the affirmation direct the energy to myself or should I name both of us as the recipients? Should he direct the energy to himself  or name both of us or our family as the recipients? OR should only one of us do the working? My first instinct is that the energy raised by both of us would be much more powerful, but would our energies raised for that same material goal cancel each other out or dilute the working some how?Thanks in advance!
