I'm a Satanist, and for the past week since I made my dedication to serve Satan in all aspects of this life and the afterlife, I've been more peaceful and open than any other time in my life. The "Satan" I know is very much the light-bearer (Lucifer), and He is a god of enlightenment and self-empowerment. Satanism is a religion of the light if you truly seek the guidance of Satan in His true form, i.e. not seeking Him as the monster Judeo-Christian/Islamic faiths dream Him up to be in order to keep us away from Him. Satanism is all about the light and all about free, open love. Visit the Joy of Satan website and explore Satanism for yourself. I think it is slightly immature and pretty ignorant to think that Satanism is an "evil", "black", or hateful religion. I will admit that hate is just as natural and necessary as love, but I am not going to hate someone simply because they are not like me or do not call themselves "Theistic Satanist". As a matter of fact, the love of my life is Catholic, and she is amazing. I don't try to convert her, and she doesn't try to convert me. Point being, Satanism is the most welcoming and open religion in human history so far, and I think it's probably gonna stay that way considering the god of Satanism is Satan, the most merciful and most compassionate god of them all. Satanism is about love, peace, self-enlightenment, and open-mindedness. Please, don't fall into the misconception that Satanism is dark and dreary and death-oriented. Ave Satanas! Regie Satanas! Hail Satan!
