What is this purple energy?

I have not yet done my dedication, not quite ready for it, but I did send a message to Satan thanking him for the wake up call and asking for his guidance. Immediately after that I proceeded to work on the hooded cobra 40 day meditation program. While vibrating to open up my first chakra, I was trying to visualize a red light. Interestingly enough though the red light became purple and as I opened my eyes I saw that it was now visible in front of me. I stood up and walked around my room and noticed that it continued to stay in the same place... Ever since then I will see it sometimes as I walk the streets at night in my city, it usually stays in the same place and doesn't go away until I leave, the first time it was in front of a church. What's even more interesting is that I have noticed countless little purple dots in the carpet of my room that do not move and I can't seem to find these little purple dots anywhere else but inside of my room spread all over my carpet, although I need to look more closely at the floor when I go out to other places. I have had setbacks in my meditation and I need to start again, yet I can still see the purple dots even right now as I am writing this. Anyone care to explain what this is?
