They write articles like this in an attempt to gain public opinion. The election was stolen; they don't have the support of the public. Public support is critical for continued warfare, such as in the support of an insurgency. The Taliban was supported by the populace, and so forth.

What is described in the article is a good example of 5th gen, informational warfare. Tons of covert agents all orchestrating through the various institutions of society to effect a change against their opponents. Kinetic warfare comes last and ideally not at all.
