THE REIKI GRID

Can any one tell me what the reiki grid means for me? i had some one create one for me and they didnt tell me what it ment.
please help!!!!

A Reiki grid is sort of a map or even altar of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Quintessence. It's used to deepen your meditations and boost the amount of energy you can use on yourself and for others. This is all I remember. I had taken Reiki in 2005 and my teacher was a real asshole.

I had a Reiki guy project into me once to see if I could feel anything.  I wasn't very impressed, even though I felt something.  Then I went to talk to a natural psychic that I was friends with and she did something and it Lit me right up.  After all those crap symbols and trainings and new age knightings, you'd think it'd give the person some degree of power.
