Summoning/Asking for help Demons

Hail Satan everyone!

I have never summoned anyone and I was wondering if summoning Demons is for help/advice only? I do my best to solve problems on my own as much as possible but just for future reference, I read here that Gods/Demons are busy with spiritual warfare and have very little spare time so should be reserved for extreme cases only?
And is Guardian sufficient for most/any problems or specific Demon for specific help should be summoned?
I am not open yet so can't ask Guardian.

tl;dr should I summon Demons for help or deal with them on my own if possible.

Note that I don't have problems need solving at this time, just asking "just in case"...
