serpent ascension?

I have been meditating for some years now.Some months ago,i felt something like a nerve cord piercing my flesh(chakra region) all the way to my head,then i saw a white light in serpent shape and again felt intense pressure in my third eye as if it wants to burst through and also my pineal gland.Just some few days ago, i felt a crawling sensation on my head(the top back of my head) and it was very painful.later seems it crawled out,i felt it crawling out and immediately i felt as if i was in another dimension(like my aura is another higher dimension)  and i was in a bliss state as if a white light was on top my head,i was very happy,the experience was wonderful.Later the nerve cord(serpent),seems to reside at the  top back of my head and crawling in that region.Anytime it seems to crawl in that top back region of my head, i feel energy in my body.Please i just want to know if my serpent is ascended or it is just kundalini energy that was raised to the top of my head.I don't want to deceive my self then learned later that i just felt kundalini energy rising and not the serpent.
