I just wanted to show my appreciation to the loving Goddess Serket. A very interesting deity that also could be just another aspect of Isis, but she resonates with me deeply.
She’s often depicted with a scorpion gracing her crown. She’s said to protect against venomous stings and scorpion bites. Her name can also be interpreted as “she who gives breath” or “she who causes the throat to breathe" which may correlate to the throat chakra.
She’s described as a protector of the dead and is depicted on the tomb of Nefertari
I don’t see her being talked about on here so i thought she deserves a place to be noticed as well.
