Sensing death?

Hello brothers & sisters!
I am currently entrusted with overseeing my grandfather's health, which is quickly deteriorating. I'm doing it because I'm the only one in the family with moderate medical knowledge ( I can do ekg's & simple tests) but they can only tell so much. Aside from training my clairvoyance, is there another technique that would help me "see" his aura & life force so I can monitor him more closely?

Btw, do you know that people which do not have their aura, are close to the brink of passing the gates...?
