Attaching it to a necklace can be done in a variety of different ways. You can twist a piece of metal wire, either into a "Cage" to hold the carving, or you can use String and Varnish. With the second method, one you have Carved your Rune give it a coat of varnish, while the varnish is still wet arrange the string accordingly to your preference then varnish again, and again etc until it is suitably secured. Another method if you are using wood for the rune is to drill a small hole at the top and thread through a piece of metal link.
If you are going to use Wood be sure to use a Nut of Fruit bearing tree. If you use a tumble stone the string/cord varnish method works particularly well.
As for which Rune you would use, that would depend more on your intention and feeling towards the usage of your finished piece, but as Jera represents a Cycle, for the purpose of a Rosary perhaps this Rune would be best. Moss Agate would be the preferred Stone for this Rune.

I read this before and this did *Not* answer my question. I don't want to have a pentagram on my rosary/pendant and wanted to carve a rune on a piece of wood on my necklace.
