Real Power?

Good day dear Zevists.

As usually I got things lingering in my mind until they mature enough to be written for you.

So few days ago In the Outreach Project chat I was venting on this topic, and I decided to upgrade it and make this for Forums, as It can be inspiring or motivating.

So.

I see often how others wants to make things with magic, like long term things, like patience and etc...

I understand that we are Zevists and magicians, and we can try to do whatever with magic.

But some things I think they have to be built with life...

Others are wishing to get abilities of mature person with magic,

While it is transformation and process and how it makes you in long term by exercising, gives really juicy substance in things which one reaches in themselves as one can be conscious in the things of life by being gone through them, not drawing them down from imaginary world.

If one wants a certain quality in oneself and have a grasp of it, that's where one may want to start becoming adept in it.

I understand that some of others may not agree with me because labouring may look time wasting if one has magic they can just "do" it fast, but will it satisfy one? Will one be able to value it as a really earned and built thing of good substance? Or will it be a thoughtform based on non progress but stagnation and basically on jewtrix?

But I feel that this is what missing in most people, the real willingness to live, real struggle and labouring, and becoming something through it, something what others looks up to and says I want to be this way...

Because that's the reason why first of all one may not achieve desired results with magic, because they think that if I move a magic wand it will all solve, haha, No.

First and foremost above all one has to get there to do such "miraculous" magic, that means this is in itself demands hard work and many years of building for becoming a real magician, daily serious discipline and {dedication}.

One has to deserve to have power, one has to be able to handle it, to not misuse it and I mean here one has to apply ethics to not throw I'll intentions left and right by cursing every passer by unconsciously with power in their hands, but after all nobody will give powers for one who is not deserving. And One has to be Pure.

It's a long path, and so many things are to be fixed, but yet it is possible for anyone who has basic reasoning ability.

Yes there is things which is sometimes better to do with magic, but if people would be less ignorant with life they would realize that alot of things are in the making already for them in the long run..,

After which becomes into culmination one can't recognize oneself, but only start to love oneself truly, as one becomes deserving a love from oneself... But if they are missing it and not taking it, it will be a waste.

I am trying to make a point that is, to value life and to realize that some things has to be experienced, grown through and built, rather than trying to "make" them happen fast with magic...

Because this is how things has value, when they are built, when they have in themselves time, and story, evolution.

This way people become real, complex, unique, they have their way, ther methods of approaching life and can teach others good things and values.

Zevism is about living life and building ourselves through it - wisdom building.

I want to see Zevists developing through whatever life throws at them, whatever hardship or obstacles, I want to see us using it for our benefit, rising and being above obstacles even while being in it - that's the definition of "Knowledgeable One", being passionate and having insight in how maybe not all the time flowering path is making our hearts of steel and imparts real wisdom of life, and makes us examples and real powerful individuals.

Life has to be exercised for it to grow. Patience is needed, hardship is needed.

For the stupid one it may be everything easy because they don't have to think, but for us if it is hard sometimes, maybe it is a sign that we should start to apply our willpower for willing to live?

And make use of it for polishing us like diamonds?

Living to the fullest in joy. So what that we cry sometimes? Or not happy?

I personally if I cry I do it with joy, if I hate I do it with joy. Because of my fiery individuality, but that's how it should be if the fire is burning in one for them to be able to live.

Life is to be lived, not to be feared or discarded, but to applied as a teaching.

A teaching from Zeus.

Thoughtful post dear Brother, thank you for sharing! I agree with you, we have to remember that magick is another dimension of the same reality (as above, so below) and that we have to live and act according to the spiritual virtues at all times.

We must perform our daily tasks and spiritual tasks in complete embodiment of higher virtues, so they complement each other, so we can be fully developed beings and shine brightly in all areas of life and spirituality to recognise that these two (life and spirituality) are truly one and the same thing, we are spiritual and material beings after all!

We must purify our souls through the labours --active service and dedication, world betterment and self betterment and spiritual ascension will come with the lessons we learn on the way

Zevists must not hesitate to truly live conscious lives, to embrace unity and divison when necessary to accomplish our goals and dreams!

The body and soul require movement. We can't just sit all day meditating and expect success will just come to us.

The most successful Zevists are the ones who meet their own energy halfway. When you pull in anything into your life, you must also push yourself to that very same thing.

This is the balance that transforms our lives and ourselves.

Excellent post and a needed critique of some past and modern Occultism practitioners and Orders that claim that Magick is the one tool that alone will solve all problems and make you an evolved person, compared to the rest.

While Magick is indeed a valuable tool, and the Knowledge thereof will indeed greatly extend your Power and Influence and get what you want. Still, people tend to put excessive focus on this, either claiming that this is the only one thing that you need to rise above the rest, or claiming that that alone will solve any problems and your hardships will be solved with minimum effort.
I think this is wrong, and people who make these sorts of claims are missing the point of the Occult Path.

The point of the Occult is to unveil the mysterious aspects of Reality, the point is to Know and to use that Knowledge to understand yourself (which is the basics), the world and how we can act upon the world for our and the world's benefit. That and developing the right character to face whatever may happen to you: a Strong Will. Both are important...and Trials make a Strong Will and the Knowledge that is necessary to thrive.

If one wields powerful Magick but do not know how to use it, knowing the tools that he/she uses or if one uses it without having a good understanding of what the effects are, then one is like a child with a bomb that can do unjust damage and will receive damage in return or is ineffective.

Remember what Plutarch said in "On Isis and Osiris" in the first paragraph of the Dissertation: what makes a God a God is Knowledge; he didn't mention wielding badass Magick as the point. Knowledge is the Primary power and all Virtues come from it.
