I don't know if mine worked i had a lamp thing that has a light bulb and a bowl on top where the wax goes but it was blue and it was on the whole time also i wrote the prayer down ahead of time then when i was ready and the wax was on and heated i took a shower read the prayer drew blood from my finger with a safety pin signed my name and put the paper folded in a glass jar to burn then said the final words and threw the ashes in the wind the next day so did i do it right?

What part did you not manage to do? Well, if you got interrupted you could do it again, unless you feel otherwise. It's not like something will "happen" if you do it twice; it is just unnecessary and pointless since just doing it once is enough.
I myself had done it twice in the past.
Because I was too young and wasn't taking the meditations seriously, I had stopped and when I finally wanted to start meditating again, I thought I should do the dedication ritual again because my lack of meditations would somehow "cancel" my dedication. That wasn't the case of course. xD But nothing happened. If you feel uncertain (if you didn't even manage to burn the paper) then you could do it again.

I performed the dedication ritual, but I didnt complete it due to interruptions. Does it still count? On the JoS website it says I mustnt repeat rituals so Im not sure what I must do now, any advice?
