Question regarding mercury square

I have a question regarding the mercury square and the kabbaistic squares in general. If i were to perform the mercury square with mercury in capricorn, would it give me work to the effect of giving me a strong, logical and focused mind?

It probably won't work as well. You need to start it when it's in Gemini, Virgo, or Aquarius.
