question about dedication ritual pls reply anyone ASAP

I have performed the dedication ritual a week ago but im not sure if its right.I have one small candle (light blue), small white paper in which I wrote the prayers including my full name
by pen and I pricked my left thumb finger.Instead of writing my name in blood, I make my signature by marking the paper with left thumb finger with my own blood ( its like finger printing from my left thumb finger with my own blood as ink)My reason for doing this is that,writing my name takes time, its hard for me to be alone always and im avoiding to be seen by anyone, just to be safe because in my place where i live, a satanist is not yet socially accepted and if theyknow maybe they will do any harm.
