Our Old Name

I’m miss our old name Joy of Satan and Spiritual Satanism. I’m still call our chief god Satan, Lucifer, Satanas. I’m still call myself a "Spiritual Satanist". On the one hand, the change to Zevism was a ray of hope for me. But I love the name Joy of Satan  and Spiritual Satanism and miss it very much.

Use whatever name you want. There are many different names for this same Highest God who was known in every civilization in every country in every language. You can use the Grand Ritual of Zeus to learn more about this.

Like I said:

If the name Satan conjures up images of darkness, vampires and other enemy stereotypes and that's why you want to use it then don't use it because you have the wrong idea about it. That's exactly why the name was changed, to get rid of these stereotypes.

However, if you do understand that these stereotypes are false and the name is mostly your preference unrelated to enemy stereotypes then go ahead and use it.

That’s okay, I do the same myself. It’s just a new era, it doesn’t mean the old one ended or is not true. You can use whatever you feel most comfortable with. Don’t let anyone from the forums or otherwise try to push something down your throat.

Our new name Zevism is very nice.
But our old name has a special place in my heart. Spiritual Satanism was like a protective fortress against False Satanism.

For me it has been the opposite experience. I feel like we have been unchained basically under the Temple of Zeus and Zevism. We are basically set free like the blinding sun to liberate and expand into the world and rectify it.

I can understand the feeling. But we have moved into an era where even Spiritual Satanism doesn't define us anymore. We are experiencing the divine expansion of our faith and evolution with Zeus-Satya at the forefront, and the original cultural, and spiritual understandings of our Gods being unchained.

We are not longer limited in the satanic context. We grew so much this can no longer contain us.

I like Father Satan/Zeus and the Dæmons very much. I like spiritual Satanism very much.

I agree, there's no need to explain to outsiders that we don't sacrifice humans. We begin by stating what we are, not what we are not. "Satanism" belongs in the age of confusion, and we have long moved on.
