Lisa is usually depicted as the "smart communist" know-it-all and in a positive light. I'm surprised they allowed this negative depiction of a lefty idea and even went further with the subsequent reptilian invasion.

Simpsons are a gold mine of truths here and there, mixed in with lefty propaganda ofc. Comedy is truth and the official "Truth" is comedic in Clown World.
