Here is a reply to the same question asked in the main JoS e-group:


The point down triangle has been used by Satanists to represent Satan for centuries, especially before Anton LaVey made the Baphomet symbol popular in the late 1960's. In addition to the point down triangle symbolizing the serpent power, it is also the symbol for the element of water.

In Sumerian EA/Enki means "House of Water." Also, the "KI" is the lifeforce of the soul, the witchpower, and ENKI from which the Egyptian word "ANKH" is related, both relating to the lifeforce and witchpower of the soul.

It all ties in.

I have done my research, which totals to reading hundreds of books, websites, and other reference materials in regards to Satan, His Demons, Satanism, and the occult. Satan is Ea/Enki. This was also confirmed by Satan himself.

"Devil" is not an insulting term. It was corrupted from "Devi." Everything of Satanism can be traced to the Far East. Satan's triangle point down Sigil symbolizes the shakti/kundalini serpent power of the soul. "Devi" is another word for this power.

Lucifer and Satan are the same, just different names.

Wow was that last Comment ment to look down onto everyone or make yourself feel better Then again it might help if people would check out the info they need on the jos web site rather then ask everyone a thong they have asked about time after timeMe I like to look up things on jos and put all the printouts and notes and pics and stuff in a big book / folder I have made over the last year
