Kundalini yoga 111+ breaths

I started out doing 50 and gradually moved up to 111 over a year and a half ago which I have been able to do with ease and no bad effects whatsoever. If I go past 111 will it have more effect? Will it be harmful? Or perhaps have no extra effect at all?

Curious as to some input. Thanks.
 
Given that the "formula" is based on 108 reps, I would choose 216 over 111, and go there straight up. Just with a little longer rests, but hey, that's just me. So, do as your body tells you. I don't think there are rules against these kinds of modifications regarding to repetitions. And if there are, come spank me then. :lol:
