First I’d like to say that it is very good that the persecution of White and farmers in South Africa is being brought to light by Trump.
However I wonder if this is just a distraction from what Israel’s doing in Gaza, which Trump has being silent on btw, while UK Canada and France condemned it. South Africa is also Israel’s main opponent in the UN on the latter being accused of apertheid, I’m pretty sure South Africa brought the accusation in the first place?
Why did Trump say nothing about what was already happening in SA during his first term? Why now AS Israel is launching a full scale invasion of Gaza, just to steer everyone’s attention away from it?
Is SA only getting the spotlight now because it stood up to Israel? Is that the real reason Trump went after it?
Either way I am still glad he is bringing attention to this, but the timing is way too convenient for Israel’s favour, as well as the fact that South Africa is one of Israel’s main opponents in the UN.
What do you think about this?
