I’m sharing this knowledge to show we had centers of learning in pre colonial black Africa. Not to endorse Islam. The historical fact is Islam spread to Africa and the Middle East and Christianity spread through Europe. Just because Africa has an Islamic past doesn’t mean we should ignore. We can look at these things and appreciate the history from a racial aspect not religious.

Timbuctoo the Mysterious
Excerpt “ The Scholars of Timbuktu yielded in nothing, to the saints in their sojourns in the foreign universities of Fez, Tunis and Cairo. They astounded the most learned men of Islam by their erudition. That these Negroes were on a level with the Arabian Savants is proved by the fact that they were installed as professors in Morocco and Egypt. In contrast to this, we find that the Arabs were not always equal to the requirements of Sankore.”

Ahmad Baba a Timbuktu scholar wrote 60 books. He also had a personal library of 1600 books which he stated was the smallest amongst his friends. It was common for the scholars of Timbuktu to collect thousands of books.

“The collections include manuscripts about art, medicine, philosophy, and science, as well as copies of the Quran. The number of manuscripts in the collections has been estimated as high as 700,000“
“Original books from Timbuktu have been written by local scientists, historians, philosophers, and versemakers. Legal experts in the city gathered numerous amounts of scholarship about Islamic jurisprudence, or fikh, as well as obligatory alms, or zakat.[5] Astronomers studied the movement of stars and relation to seasons, crafting charts of the heavens and precise diagrams of orbits of the other planets based on complex mathematical calculations;“

The Encyclopedia Britannica states that by 1450 Timbuktu had a population of 100,000, a quarter of whom were students. Even if these figures are wildly exaggerated, Timbuktu was a thriving centre of learning, and manuscripts were highly prized: the traveller Leo Africanus, who visited in 1510, found books sold for more money than any other merchandise in the city's market.
Books reached Timbuktu by caravan from Fez and Cairo, Tripoli and Córdoba, and what the scholars couldn't afford, they would copy. Other documents were written in Timbuktu. The vast libraries that resulted included every subject: astronomy and medicine, law, theology, grammar and proverbs.

The manuscripts reveal that black Africa had literacy and intellectualism -- thus going beyond the mere notion of Africa as a continent of 'song and dance,' '' John O. Hunwick, a scholar who has uncovered some of the writings, said in a recent interview.

The manuscript contains 132 pages of Arab astronomy bound in well-worn leather, a 15th-century treasure stored, with similar items, in a cardboard box in a traditional dwelling in Chinguetti.

About 600km north-east of the capital, in Chinguetti, once a centre of Islamic learning, the Habott family owns one of the finest private libraries, with 1,400 books covering a dozen subjects such as the Qur'an and the Hadith (the words of the Prophet), astronomy, mathematics, geometry, law and grammar. The oldest tome, written on Chinese paper, dates from the 11th century.

The Ancient Astronomers of Timbuktu Documentary
I'd like to point out that Islam was violently established in Africa. Women were raped, people forced to convert and even change their names to Arabic ones. All the previous African cultures were violently wiped out.

Till today, much of Northern Africa is Arabic. Countries like Algeria have Islam as the religion for over 99% of the inhabitants. The people there are visibly a mix between blacks and Arabs.

I don't think too highly of the Arabic conquest of Africa.

Thats black washing!
North africans arent a mix of blacks and arabs , we are amazigh indigenous to the land, and north africa has never been black, and you can see in the pyramids of egypt depicted an amazigh man! With the feathers on his head , and you can see in the pyramid the black as slaves ( I am against slavery of course)

You will find attached how the ancient libyan is depicted !

Why you blackwash north africa? You said many things turned arab in north africa, lets take the name of cities of Morocco as an example, now they arab arab, before they changed in which language was the names ? In berber language !
Because north africans started talking arabic what was always their language !?
Berber
Dont black wash north african history, we are not arabs we are not blacks we arent a mix of black and arab, i have a small dick this is enough to prove i am not black, dont black wash north africa

Since black dragon hasn’t come back to this, I feel it’s prudent to say this.

1. This isn’t black washing what black dragon said. It’s reality and it shows to this day. In those countries in Africa that are heavily Islamic you don’t see the ancient traditions of the gods prevalent. They are wiped out or so suppressed that it’s become irrelevant to the masses. So you aren’t black, then why are you defending North Africa or blacks up there pure blooded or mixed?

2. Egypt belonged to the whites. Yes after the opposition of the Nubian empire then yes it became highly multicultural and as such the fall of the greatest Empire. Blacks had their own civilizations outside of Egypt so please take time to go research the history of the other civilizations of the Black Race.

3. The North Africans are still African whether mixed or pure. I’d advise reading the JoSAfrica

I am amazigh , i know my history, dont tell me to go read, i am beyond that, you are in a level wheere you are researching history for recognition, admit it, to feel blacks did great things, thats good, in your level, you will get to mine and understand , the next level you will achieve after understanding that each culture have impressive stuff, and the moment you realise how big the universe is big you will surpass that, then you may become indifferent to history, then you will reach a level where you study history as a way to not commit same mistakes as your ancestors, then you will get to a level where you know that identifying strongly with culture is a trap of itself , then you will start being free , the amazigh have a tendency to not write history, even if huge things get lost, i used to hate that, but now i understand things you will understand further in the path, good luck brother ( the tone is not directed at you, its just my way of talking in those subjects , when i use "you" in this message im not refering to you, i refer to a imaginary person i use to get my idea delivred, you are a Zevist, i dont care if all your opinions are against mine, time will reveal, and i love you for being on my side in this path)

You talked about egypt being white, why you didnt mention chechonq who was an amazigh pharaoh( libyan) ?

Im not triggered anymore in this forum, but this subject triggered me, i will try to not get triggered again, also i mentioned enough hints, the one who seeks the truth should study north african history, not from islam invasion, from times of rome, to this day, and he will understand, having arab names you thinnk we are mixed but thats just because of arab washing, additionally, if we follow your philosophy, we colonised spain for 700 years, so spanish people are amazigh sub race now? Or a mix? A city in spain is named after the tribe im from , same for many cities , also canary islands now is under spain rule, are they spanish now? They are amazigh , you mix land with language with names with history with colours with different spectrums of the race within same race, you just shuffle everything up, see the dna tests done by moroccans almost everyone finds 80-90% amazigh gene , some find 100% , the rest is usually iberian , but i dont care about the dna test , my Land dictates my race , if i am born in amazigh land i am amazigh , if i am a general i wont do a dna test to make sure im defending the right country, that just doesnt make sense.( In my opinion)

I will try to never get triggered in this subject

When i said im beyond that im not talking about information in the link you provided, i meant beyond studying history to prove or to seek pride etc, using history for self gratification instead for using it for what it should be used for...

So according to you the people born and and raised in south Africa is not south African
What about the indigenous people who have been there for a very long time,
Such as the khoisan are they also not south African
You're statement might come off as very bold but there actually baseless and holds no value

This isnt what i said , they arent south african since africa in history is only north africa only later the whole continent was named africa, i dont know how you refer to the indeginous people there , i dont say that blacks arent indeginous to the south of the country, but i dont know the name that is used there, this is what i meant, maybe my comment may be confusing, this topic makes me mad.

There is a big Agenda against the Amazigh race, and thats why europeans dont even know whats an amazigh they think north africa is black or arab or similar, while arabs think we are europeans, and blacks think we are arabs / europeans , we are amazigh. North africa is amazigh nothing else , but i dont mind white washing since its against arab and black washing

I dislike his attitude. It’s so haphazard and I really can’t really understand him well. I’m not entertaining him. Probably you should do the same.

If you understood you wouldnt write your previous message, i know that you didnt understand, long story short africa is not about blacks, africa is only north africa , it was until recently it started refering to the whole continent , amazigh are the only africans , dont speculate on who we are and who egyptians are, study your history first, and dont make africa seem black, africa is north africa only and we are amazigh , we arent arab , we arent blacks, i look nothing like a black nor arab, if there isnt a sea between north and south of continent it doesnt mean we are in "the same continent", the desert has always acted as a borderline between us, im againt black washing and arab washing africa, white washing is welcome since it gets rid of the first two which are more dangerous in my opinion, consider us a sub white race by now. But not blacks and not arabs.
