Now I know that the main concept of Spiritual Satanism is about finding out things for oneslef, and I am in no means a person who should tell you how to look at the world or how to do things, but I believe if I share my thoughts and views about this it will help some people.
Sermon about Satan and His help
We all hear about it, nothing can happen with me because I am under the protection of Satan. The only sin in Satanism is stupidity. Get it?
Let's look it the other way round. You always help someone, but if that someone doesn't look after himself/herself then you start getting irritated. Then you decide to not help him/her so that she would learn her lesson, isn't it logical? So if you have cash, put away some in case of an emergency and don't spend it right away on a mercedes. If your healthy then look out for yourself. If you have a goal, make plans to achieve it. Don't just think that everything will just `magically' happen and you get out of your poor bed and as you get to your front door where a limo is waiting and takes you to your new mansion. Work for it, by that you advance and evolve.
It even makes sense if you are one who seeks logic in things. If you work for things you get smarter, if you work for things (in this sense physical work) you'll get stronger. There will be times when you are too weak to do some objective but then someone helps you, while he is helping you, you still advance and then you will be strong enough to do that alone from now on. Same logic with magic. Which is easier? Asking someone for a miracle, or just thinking about that miracle to make it happen.
Or if any Black Mages are reading this, which one is enjoyable asking a daemon to attack an enemy, or giving the killing blow by yourself.
This sermon isn't perfect, it has flaws but it is how I see things at the moment. And again if I don't write it down I'll never move ahead to writing more advanced texts/sermons what you will.
