i think i messed the dedication ritual up

ok i got everything set up however half way through writing the pryer my brother came in i managed to egt back on track, also because i have a huge phobia of blood and needles i didnt get enough blood to write letter of my name but i did get some blood down and ten i burned it it only singed it i tried 3 timeseach time it only singed then it fully burned but i forgot to say the prayer i so i did that arfterwards and when i tried to get rid of the ash remains it blew everywere
did i mess the dedication ritual up please be honest

You wrote the dedication. you set the flame. you offered blood...
you did that right, now, did you mean the dedication?
if so, welcome Brother =) relax; it's not a straight and narrow needle or anything; so long as it was done to your best and you meant it, it counts.
