I have decided to dedicate(finally)

Hello guys. So after months of study and doing a little bit of basic magick from this religion and other non-religious sources I have finally decided that I am ready to dedicate. It'll be kind of hard because my parents are Christian but I'm still gonna do whatever it takes to do it. And no I do not want to do it astrally I want to do it physically. But anyway I have a quick question. Before I do the ritual does it matter whether I shower or bathe? Showering would be easier for me because my parents never let me bathe. Just wondering, Thank you.

It does not matter just as long as your cleen. You can dive in a freakin river or lake if you want.
