High Priest Hooded Cobra is giving it his all. I decided to write this post as a simple thanks to him and everyone else who keeps helping other members in need and actively running this community.
My motivation for this was some of the recent comments about various things including High Priestess Maxine, demand for more information, etc. So I need to mention that I have been observing the forums for exactly six years and eight days, back when there were many who called themselves High Priests, and where new members came in just as they do now. I have never once seen HPHC stray from our path and never saw him contradict his previous statements before, and there have been HPs who did just that.
Right now, as of 2021, to my knowledge, HPHC is doing most of the front-end work by himself. Managing a community like this, where people of many different backgrounds come (both regarding their views on spirituality and the state of their mental health which is very much important, I'll get to it in a minute) requires serious, unrelenting, everyday effort and HPHC has been doing it, with the help of other members for a very long time and I am eternally grateful to them for doing it, and we should all be. Since 2015 I have been finding myself thanking both him and HPS Maxine (and other members of our society) without whom I would still be in the shackles of islam with the never ending fear of torment and being an emotionless husk creeping up my mind.
I have also seen a few comments about more spiritual information needing to be shared. While the comments are not ill-intended, I do think that the authors should take a step back and read what I just said. There is no harm in wanting to know more, but let us be honest here: how many of us can with absolute certainty say that they have mastered all the meditations from the main JOS website? Another question, how many of us have been consistently doing them for months/years? It is my firm belief that once we get to a certain level, knowledge will be revealed to us also individually. The main page of JOS always stated that there are no mediators in Satanism. This being said, a set of doctrines outlining our beliefs and a starting point (from which we can work individually) do have to exist - and they do!
On top of that, HPHC himself stated that the main JOS website needs to be revised and checked since the majority was written many years ago. This would take tremendous effort and time, mostly because nobody would want to make a correction of a page and realizing their correction needs to be corrected after a few months. That sounds very frivolous and would harm the reputation of the JOS. HPHC has already taken action by tasking us, the members, to find technical errors in the website and report them, and so far the feedback is awesome. I welcome every project to help the community as I'm sure many others do. The key is to continue working in this manner.
