It says on JoS that it should only be done once and that it is binding. So, one area that states "renounce any and all past alliances" I would just leave that out I suppose since I have already dedicated and am judst doing a re-dedication cause I have hit a new turning point in my life. Or do I write something completely different in my own words re-dedicating. Not trying to ask possibley obvious questions just want to make sure it all goes well.

Hail Father Satan and The Gods of Old!!!!

We don't do a RE-dedication. Dedication, as we all know, is done only once in a lifetime. But for those who feel it's necessary for any reason could, I suppose, do a sort of reaffirmation of their dedication.

That's not just semantics; if you do a reaffirmation, you would design a special rite for the purpose and you wouldn't sign your name in blood a second time because your original dedication is still valid, no matter what.

I think we believe we need to re-dedicate because we may have slacked off for a while, either because of circumstances that we have not yet learned bring under our control or because of a simple lack of self-discipline. But our original dedication remains valid, no matter what. A re-affirmation may help mark the end of such "down time" as it were, and a turning point. That's my take on it. Personally, if I find I've been "slipping", I just end it, telling myself, in effect, "that's the end of the excuses" and move forward from that point.

I do like to celebrate the yearly anniversaries of my dedication because it represented the most powerful and momentous event of my life, one that is so all-encompassing that it is well worthy of celebration, and is a good occasion to give special thanks to Satan for all he has done for us. But that is not a re-dedication.

You don't do more then 1 dedication ritual. If you wish to honor satan further you can perform other rituals.

HAIL SATAN!

I hear many different methods of acquiring blood for dedication ritual.  Here is a favorite of mine and of course can be used for more than a dedication ritual.  If you feel this is too much, then fine, but to each their own.  Go to an art supply store or order a "Rotring Art Pen," online.  It should come with a few tubes of ink refills, and a clear tube with a thing you twist at the end, which makes the other end like a vacuum so you can basically do your own refills if you buy an ink jar.  This is basically a fountain pen with the ability to purchase or do your own refills.
Next thing is.... yes you guessed it.... shed some blood in a good enough quantity into a small dish where you can easily suck it up.  The tubes are 1 1/2 - 2 inches long and about a quarter of an inch in diameter, so make sure you shed enough blood.  Also common sense dictates that for the blood to flow properly..... and this goes with getting any sort of blood when cutting yourself, is that it should be thick enough and less viscuous.  When it is thick it clots easily and then won't flow.  An easy way around this is to drink a lot of water the day before... I mean ALOT..... like 1-2 gallons of water... which is what you should be drinking anyway if you are a healthy person (which I'm assuming that means you run/exercise daily).
The alternative method to this of course is to not even bother sucking up the blood and to just simply dip it into the blood.  The problem is that it will dry up faster, so that is the reason I like to suck it up into the ink tube.  This is a fun toy, and has allowed me to write my entire dedication out in blood.  Rather than worrying whether I was using enough blood, squash all doubt and just write the frigging damn thing in all blood.  Now that is dedication to me... going all out.

Hail Satan!!!
