Greetings, Family. I wanted to share a practical system to start feeling energy and improve your astral senses. Some people might have already come across this, but helping even a single person would make this worth it, so here I am.
Tactile Imaging (TI) and Mobile Body Awareness (MBA) are methods compiled by a well-known astral projection researcher and author called Robert Bruce. His methods consist of using the physical senses of touch, rather than visualization, to shift your awareness to your energy body and develop/enhance your energy sense. Here in this article, I edited some of the exercises and chapters from his book "New Energy Ways" and give some pointers on how his methods could also be applied to established Temple of Zeus paradigms. These exercises also include many important exercises for the feet and palm chakras so it is recommended to try those out as well, especially if you have issues with opening/feeling them. All credits for the exercises go to Robert Bruce, I simply shamelessly copied everything here and just added a bit of additional context, thank him instead of me. At the end of this article, I have given some more ideas on the application of these exercises.
Make sure to do the 40 day meditation program if you haven't already! (These exercises can also be done while going through that program). These first few exercises should be done daily for beginners.

Highlighting
Bruce uses light scratching and other physical sensations for beginners to form an energetic connection with a certain part of your body. The tingling sensation that remains after stopping scratching is to be focused upon.
Exercise 1 - Localizing Body Awareness
Lightly scratch your left knee so it leaves a tingling sensation. Close your eyes and intensely focus your awareness on this tingling feeling, shift all of your attention to it. Do this until you feel like you created a connection with the area that was scratched. Then, expand your focus become aware of the whole joint of the knee, feel its outline and shape, and then, the same with your entire left knee.

Exercise 2 - Localizing Body Awareness 2
Lightly scratch your right knee, close your eyes, focus on the tingling, and feel the outline and shape of the right knee. Now wiggle your big toe and shift your focus to it and feel the outline and shape of it. Then, do the same with other parts of your body (both lightly scratching and moving the body part itself can be used to highlight it).

This process of scratching, focusing your awareness/creating a connection, and then becoming aware of a bigger part of the targeted area is applicable to any part of your body. Do these exercises often to improve your energy sense.
Essentially, these exercises are based around: Highlighting -> Focus Targeting -> Deepen Focus/Expansion of Focus
Exercise 3 - Tracing Pathways
Lightly trace your finger along the surface of the body and follow this movement with your focus.
Lightly trace a path with your finger from the base of the left thumb to the left shoulder while keeping your eyes closed. Ignore the physical sensations and fully trace the movement/path with your focus. Repeat this with your right arm. Then, trace a path from your left big toe along your foot to your ankle, to the outside of the shin of your kneecap, to the outside of your thigh beside your left hip joint, and then back to your left big toe again. Repeat this with your right leg.

Alternatively, if light tracing is not enough, then light scratching is fine as well. Tools can be used for stimulation as well (ruler, brushes, pencils, etc.). You can trace the path back and forth if you need more time to focus.
Exercise 4 - Mobile Body Awareness
Focus into your right knee until you can feel it well. Slowly move your focus down the outside of your right shin. Keep moving your focus until you reach the right foot and then move to your right big toe and expand your focus on it. Wiggle it a bit and focus on the big toe to the best of your ability. Then, do the same with the next toe; feel its shape and outline and expand your focus on it and move to the next toe and do the same thing (wiggle/highlight when necessary). Next, move your focus to your left foot and feel the entire left foot. Tense/flex/highlight your left foot and expand your focus on it. Then, center your focus into your left big toe and then keep moving your focus, going to the left ankle, left shin, thigh next to left hip, left shoulder, left arm, and left hand. Expand the focus on the entire left hand and then move through each finger and expand your focus on it, starting from the thumb (keep the focus steady on all previous fingers you moved through). You can repeat this with inverted directions as well. Highlight when needed.

Tactile Imaging
Tactile Imaging combines Mobile Body Awareness with repetitive movements done with focus on the target area. This includes things like clockwise movements, among other things. These movements are done with focus alone. Tactile Imaging can be used to affect/activate/open/empower target areas. Bruce writes that a lack of feeling in certain areas of the body might indicate blockages or energetic inactivity.
Exercise 5 - Tactile Imaging Stirring Test
Keep your hands comfortably in front of you, with your palms facing upwards and fingers slightly apart. Take a few moments to focus on your entire left hand and then move your focus to the tip of your left thumb, after a few moments, start to create a clockwise spinning movement on the tip with your focus as if you were stirring it with a pencil, continue doing this until you feel like the movement is very clear and then move to the next finger and do the same. After finishing this with your last finger, focus on the middle of your palm and do the same there and do the same with the point below the middle of the palm as well. Repeat this for the right hand and then do this for the toes on both sides as well. (For the feet, use the point below the toes and the point to the right below that)

Note: The original exercise given by Bruce focuses on the bones of each finger, but since the visualization given in ToZ gives precedence to the fingertips, I have modified these.
Exercise 5.1 - Tactile Imaging Brushing Test
Keep your hands comfortably in front of you, with your palms facing upwards. Start to focus on your entire left hand and then focus on the point on the middle of the palm. Then, start focusing on a brushing movement from the point at the middle of the palm to the point below it as if you were painting with a brush, feel this movement continuously going up and down/back and forth between both points. After you've established a clear feeling of this movement, focus on the point on the middle of the palm and focus on a brushing movement from this point to the tip of the thumb, after establishing the feeling of the movement, do the same for each finger, one after the other, starting each movement from the middle of the palm. Repeat this for the right hand and then do this for the toes on both sides as well. (For the feet, use the point below the toes and the point to the right below that)

Awareness Hands/Astral Hands
Bruce introduces Astral Hands as tools to raise energy, clear blockages, and manipulate energy more efficiently. The more you utilize them the easier they are to manoeuvre and the more effective they are. He explains that all of us have a stronger and weaker hand, corresponding to brain hemisphere dominance. These hands "should" be, according to Bruce, felt as if attached to imaginary arms connecting to your shoulders.
Exercise 6 - Raising Energy with the Astral Hands
Close your eyes and relax while in a comfortable position. Take both of your astral hands down to your left foot as if you were grabbing/holding it (highlight the left foot with scratching/physical movement if necessary). Draw your astral hands through your left foot, to your ankle, and then up through your leg. Feel your leg fully, inside and out, as you move them upwards through it. Draw your astral hands up your shin, knee, thigh, and hip. When you get to your hip, instantly bring your focus back to your toes/the bottom of the foot and repeat this upwards motion. Do NOT stroke the leg back down with your astral hands after you are finished with the upwards motion, focus should instantly be brought to the bottom. Repeat this upward motion and then do the same with your right leg. Try this upward motion with other parts of your body as well, remember to feel the target area as much as possible as you do this. Each upward motion should take a few seconds.

Exercise 7 - Splitting Awareness
Do the last exercise but this time do the upward motion with each of your astral hands on your corresponding legs at the same time. After some practice, increase the speed gradually to where you can get from the bottom of your feet to your hip within 2-3 seconds. If you have trouble with doing both at the same time, use both of your astral arms on a single leg until using both feels more comfortable. When you raise energy up both legs, imagine and feel as if you are sweeping/sponging water up through the whole of your both legs with your astral hands. Imagine your astral hands are each holding a large sponge and that you are sponging water upwards through your legs. "The water keeps trying to runback down your legs, but focused awareness effort and concentration can be used to force the water (the energy) to rise. This addition will give your astral hands a better feel and grip on the energy, which increases the effectiveness of the energy raising action."
"It is more beneficial to be able to use one point of body awareness (one awareness action) effectively in these early exercises than it is to be able to split awareness." i.e. it's best to focus on getting the basics mastered first rather than jumping too deeply into splitting awareness and neglecting the basics.
Types of Stimulation
Bruce describes different types of sensations that can be applied to any part of your energy body (and perhaps the energy bodies of others as well).
1. Stirring Stimulation
Move your focus in a clockwise circle as if you were stirring the target area with a finger. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
2. Brushing Stimulation
Move your focus back and forth like brushing the target area with a paint brush. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
3. Wrapping Stimulation
Move your focus around the target area as if wrapping a bandage around it continuously. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
4. Tearing Stimulation
Use your astral hands in a two-handed tearing action. Feel your astral hands tearing the target area apart continuously.
As far as I know, Bruce advises something very bad here when he said "this could be used on the chakras", do not do this kind of stimulation on your chakras themselves. This type of stimulation could help you remove blockages when directly targeted at them but could be harmful when targeted at your chakras and nadis themselves. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
5. Sponging Stimulation
Imagine and feel your astral hands holding a large sponge and that they are sponging water (energy) upwards through the entire area that is targeted. Used raising the energy in a specific part of the body but can also be used more broadly. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application. Do not use any downward movements here.
Note by Bruce: "With all the above awareness actions [stimulation types], it is the action of feeling your point of body awareness moving ‘through’ your physical body that stimulates the energy body enmeshed within it. This motion causes energetic stimulation and movement within the energy body itself. Imagine the awareness action is causing a kind of Ripple Wave effect in the energy body whenever it moves through it." He also recommends not wearing any tight clothes as these may interfere with the exercises. Bruce mentions that some people might have inactive/blocked minor chakras on one side of the body more than the other.
Preliminary Stimulation
In this section, Bruce notes that the exercises work progressively, with each exercise opening more nadis and making further exercises easier, he underlines that the early exercises should not be neglected.
Redefining Energy Pathways
Bruce states that energy pathways can become blocked and that the way to unblock them is by repeatedly drawing energy into, through, and around them. "The more often energy is drawn through them the stronger and more well defined they become, and the more energy can thus be drawn through them."
Feet & Leg Development
Bruce explains that the feet are vital for handing higher amounts of power and energy as they are powerful energy conduits that supply the energy body. If energy flow is to be increased heavily, he states that these exercises must be done without fail. He notes that one foot might feel less energetically responsive than the other and says that this is normal and that these will progressively clear. If nothing is felt after spending several minutes working on each big toe, continue with the next step of the exercises. In the beginning, 2-3 minutes should be spent focusing on each big toe joint or until they respond energetically, once it responds, move on to the next joint exercise.
VERY IMPORTANT: Perform the Opening the Feet Chakras Meditation as well!
Toe Exercise 1
Focus on the top of the joint of your left big toe where it joins your foot (the second joint in from the toenail). Press your finger into this area and the slight bony lump you feel there is the top of the joint. This is the site of the first minor chakra to be worked on. Give this area a light scratch or rub to highlight it until it tingles slightly and use a clockwise stirring stimulation approximately 2cm in diameter (depending on the size of your big toe). If you have issues with this then slowly scratch or trace this circle on your skin and follow it with your focus until you feel the stirring stimulation clearly. Continue the stirring stimulation and concentrate on this feeling until you feel a buzzing/fuzzy sensation or pressure in the joint and the surrounding area. Repeat this for the upper joint of the big toe that is closer to the toenail. Repeat this for both joints on the right big toe as well. Use the brushing stimulation (from the tip of the toe to a few cm after the big joint where it joins the foot) on both big toes, one at a time. Use a wrapping stimulation and wrap both big toes thoroughly, one at a time. Use the sponging stimulation through the entirety of both big toes, one at a time.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my toe joints have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Toe Exercise 2
Use deep brushing and sponging stimulation only on every lesser toe, starting with the toe next to the big toe on the foot that feels the most energetically responsive to you. Then do the same with the other toe and spend a bit more time working on it and any other unresponsive toes to clear up any possible blockages.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my toes have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Note by Bruce: The deep brushing and sponging stimulations are the only actions normally used on all the lesser toes, along their entire length from the tip of the toenail, to a couple of inches past where they join the main foot. The stirring and wrapping actions are not normally used on these. The reason for this being that most people have difficulty awareness targeting small parts of their lesser toes, and the brushing and sponging actions usually provide adequate stimulation.
Toe Exercise 3
Using a slightly wider brushing stimulation (from tips of the toes to just past where they join the main foot) and starting with your most responsive foot, brush your focus across the entire tops of all your toes at the same time, from side to side, from big toe to small toe, back and forth. Feel this brushing stimulation penetrate deeply into all your toes. Repeat this with your other foot. Try splitting your awareness to do this with both feet at the same time.

Sole Work
Bruce states that the soles are covered with a high concentration of important minor chakras and that these exercises should be done as thoroughly as possible as well.
Sole Exercise 1
Focus on the middle of the sole of your left foot. Highlight if necessary. Use a small clockwise stirring stimulation, about 3cm and circle your focus there continuously. Then, move this continuous stirring movement over the under-surface of your foot and all toes. Keep the stirring stimulation going at all times, covering the entire area. Continue this stirring until you covered the entire underside of your foot several times, including the underside of all toes and the heel. Spend at least five minutes on each sole with this (for beginners) or until the surface of each sole begins to be very responsive.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my soles have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Sole Exercise 2
Using a wide brushing stimulation, as if painting the soles with a large paint brush. Brush focus back and forth from heels to toes, covering the entire underside of each foot deeply with the brushing stimulation, one foot at a time. Repeat this this for the other foot and then do both at once.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my soles have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Feet & Sensations
In this section, Bruce explains that doing these exercises may cause intense sensations and buzzing in/on them and says that this is normal and that it is a good symptom. He states that if sensations become too strong try to move on to the next exercise and ignore the sensations and if these sensations are way too much to handle then stop doing the exercises and wait until this feeling settles down. Bruce states that the sensations will be significantly reduced the next time you work on a certain area you previously worked on, as these sensations can happen due to opening previously blocked energy channels etc. He also explains that essential oils, massages, and reflexology techniques can be great to activate or clear energy blockages in the feet.
Heel Work
According to Bruce, the Heels contain large energy structures and it may help to work on them separately and deeply with large stirring stimulations, on top of the stimulations done on the soles while working on them. Use a large stirring action that covers the whole of each heel, for at least two minutes (for beginners) or split your awareness and do this for both heels together.

Whole Foot Work
Using a deep sponging action, draw focus from tips of toes to heel, back and forth through the whole of each foot, one foot at a time. Feel this stimulation as filling the inside of the whole of each foot as you do this. Split your awareness and do this for both feet together.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my feet have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Ankle Work
Spend around 20 seconds on each part of this exercise.
Use stirring stimulation on inner and outer left ankle minor chakras, on bony lumps of the ankle joint, one at a time. Use wrapping stimulation around the whole of the left ankle. Repeat the exercises on the right ankle. Try splitting your awareness and wrapping both ankles at the same time.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my ankles have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Knee Work
Spend around 20 seconds on each part of this exercise.
Use a large stirring stimulation, then brushing stimulation, on your left kneecap. Repeat both stimulations on the back of the left knee joint. Use wrapping stimulation around the entire left knee joint. Repeat all the above on the right knee. Try splitting your awareness and wrapping both knee joints together.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my knees have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Leg Work
Bruce explains that the legs are very complex energetic structures and that it is easier to consider the legs to consist of 5 main pathways. These pathways are presented very similarly to the ToZ chakra extensions by Bruce, representing the front, rear, inner, and outer. He also presents the fifth pathway, which is the internal bone marrow core, he states that this pathway awakens by itself as the other pathways are unblocked and worked upon.
Use a wide brushing stimulation on the front of each leg, one at a time. Highlight the whole leg pathway if necessary. Move focus from the tops of the toes, over the top of the foot and ankle, up to the shin, knee, and to the top of the hip joint on each leg, one at a time. Stroke focus up back and forth, up and down, a dozen times each way. Each leg sweep should take around 3 seconds for each up or down movement. This exercise is intended to stimulate the energy pathway and not to raise energy. Repeat the above on the back of each leg, one at a time, from the heel, to the back of the knee joint, to the rear of the high joint (the top of the buttocks) and then back down to the heel. Repeat this on the outer side of each leg, one at a time. Pay attention to taking energy from the smallest toe, through the outer side of the foot to the heel, the side of the ankle, the side of the knee, the top of the outer hip joint, and back down. Repeat this on the inner side of each leg, one at a time, from the big toe through the inner side of the foot, to the inner side of the ankle, inner knee, inner groin create at the top of each leg, and then back down. Raise energy with a large sponging stimulation, through the whole of each leg, feeling all of the leg as you go. Draw focus from the whole of the foot, through the ankle, and on up through the knee joint to the hip and then back down to the whole of the leg to the foot again, try splitting awareness and doing this last whole leg exercise on both legs at once.

Hip Chakras
This section is quite interesting, as Bruce clearly understands the importance of the hip chakras. He states that there are four large minor chakras flowering near the surface in each hip joint and that the inner two of these are connected to sensitive energy structures within the groin, including the "primary energy center of the genitals" and its sex organs. Bruce explains that these centers must be handled with care and that they are located at the top of each inner thigh, in the creases where the large tendons in the thighs enter the groin on each side. He exclaims that these should be done exactly as outlined and that the cautionary notes at the end of this section should be followed.
One hip joint at a time, first use a wide stirring stimulation, 6-8 cm in diameter, then a wide brushing stimulation up and down and then from side to side, on the front part of the hip joint, then on the outer part of the hip joint, and then on the rear part of the hip joint. These three centers aren't overly sensitive like the inner thigh crease centers and thus, no cautions apply. Stop the stimulation once any noticeable energy sensations are felt. Heavy throbbing, buzzing, tingling, and pulsing sensations are often felt with these centers. On each inner groin crease center, first use a stirring stimulation 2-4 cm in diameter. You do not have to spread your legs for this (optional) as focus will easily move through the flesh on either side of the groin crease centers. Next, use a narrow brushing stimulation and move focus back and forth over the center, stroking through the groin crease as if you were sliding an artist's brush back and forth through it. Cease stimulation as soon as this center shows any signs of activity. Use a wrapping stimulation around each entire hip joint, one at a time, taking in all four centers of each. This particular stimulation must be done at a slight angle to cover all four centers because of the way the hip joint is shaped, it may feel awkward at first but do the best you can. Try splitting awareness and wrapping both hips at once, in whatever direction feels easier (often, split awareness stimulation, each moving in opposite directions, works better for this). Try stimulating all eight hip centers with a single stimulation.

Cautionary Notes by Bruce: Groin Crease Centers-largest, most powerful and sensitive minor chakras in the entire body, can cause extreme sensations which can spread to the genitals themselves. Once you feel a slight pulsing, throbbing, tingling, or buzzing in them, leave them alone and proceed on to the next exercise. Feeling strong sensations in them, including sexual arousal can happen, especially when beginning to work on them. Do not overdo the stimulation of the inner centers. If sexual arousal is felt, move on tot the next exercise as this is a sign these centers have become active. Overstimulation and energy movement within the groin centers tends to lock body focus into the genital area and genital primary energy center-if this is allowed to continue it can cause unusually strong, urgent, and continuing sexual arousal; making further development exercises difficult at that time. If energy movement sensations do spread into your groin and genitals and appear to be taking hold there, stop and force your focus strongly away from that area. Focus on your hands instead. Strongly clap your hands multiple times and use the tingling this creates to lock focus there. Hold focus strongly in your hands until focus stops trying to slide back to your genital center. If the problem continues, get up and go for a short walk and take your mind and focus off the problem. Walking, jumping, running, clapping hands and slapping arms and face, or any other vigorous exercise, will help. If none of these work, take a cold shower or two; and/or soak your feet and hands in iced water; which will normally fix the problem fairly quickly. Return to the groin centre exercises during future development session, but be a little more careful next time. However, if over-stimulation and genital focus locking continues to reoccur at each session, discontinue inner groin crease centre work entirely, and skip these in all future development sessions
Feet & Legs – Quick Reference Guide by Bruce
1. Big toes - Stir both main joints, then brush and wrap whole of each big toe.
2. Lesser toes - Brushing and sponging stimulation only used on each of these.
3. All toes - Wide brushing stimulation across all toes on each foot.
4. Soles - Mobile rotary stirring stimulation over entire surface of each sole.
5. Soles - Wide brushing action on each sole.
6. Heels - Deep, wide stirring action on each heel.
7. Whole Foot - Sponging stimulation through whole of each foot.
8. Ankles - Stirring stimulation on inner and outer bony sides of both ankle joint.
9. Ankles - Wrapping stimulation around each ankle.
10. Knees - Stirring, brushing, wrapping knees.
11. Legs - Brush each leg (4 pathways), from foot to hip, both directions.
12. Hips - Stir, then brush, each hip centre (see cautions).
13. Hips - Wrapping stimulation around whole of each hip joint.
Hand & Arm Development
Bruce explains that the energy body exchanges and draws in energy through the hands into itself from a variety of different sources. He states that these are best thought of as atmospheric subtle energies and says that atmospheric energies have a different quality from the earthly energies that flow into the body through the feet and legs.
Note by April: It is unclear to me whether these are actually different types of energy. These could also very well be the same type of raw energies, but felt differently due to being refined through different chakras as the energy passes through them. Though, a multitude of energy types that match what Bruce is saying are presented by Chinese spiritual science. ToZ sources indeed talk of various types of energy, but to my knowledge, most of the sources are currently centered around Shakti and related types of energy and haven't clarified this in specific, so I cannot confirm or deny this.
Hands & Arm Work
Like with the feet and legs, many small areas in the arms and legs need to be unblocked first to progressively open the entire area energetically and to be able to draw in more energy through these areas.
VERY IMPORTANT: Perform the Opening the Hand Chakras Meditation as well!
Finger Work
Work on each finger, starting with your thumbs, in the same way and order as you did with your toes, on both hands, one at a time. Unlike the toes, all finger joints can be worked on with the stirring stimulation (if desired), as finger joints are easier to target with focus than the smaller toe joints are. Using the stirring stimulation on each finger joint should be considered optional, however, and only done if energy blockages are present, i.e., if the fingers and hands cannot be made to respond with brushing and sponging actions. No response to stimulations in certain areas means that energy is blocked there. You may find it easier to do these early finger and hand exercises if you look at each finger as you work on it (all exercises are intended to be done with your eyes closed). Once these exercises have been done multiple times, do these with closed eyes. The most important thing in the beginning is to get the hands and fingers energetically responsive.
Work through every joint and knuckle in each hand with the stirring stimulation, starting with the thumb joints where they join your hands, one at a time. Use the stirring stimulation on top of the joints only and not on the sides or underneath (if you're having trouble getting your hands energetically responsive then you can target these areas as well with this exercise). Use the stirring stimulation on all thumb joints, using it on the finger joints is optional. Use a narrow brushing stimulation to stimulate the entire length of each finger, one at a time, on top of both hands, from large knuckles to fingertips, for thirty seconds each or until they respond, and for longer if you so choose. Try and feel this stimulation inside the whole of each finger as you do it. Turn your hand over and repeat this with each finger and thumb on its underside, in the same way. Use wrapping stimulation around the whole length of each finger, one at a time. The position (palm up or down) should be chosen according to energetic responsiveness. Use a narrow, overlapping wrapping stimulation, slowly spiralling up each finger length as you wrap it. Continue this for thirty seconds per finger, or until they respond (or for longer if desired). Use a wide brushing stimulation, as if you were using a large paintbrush, and stimulate the back of each hand, covering all fingers from the fingertips to a few inches above the wrists, one hand at a time, for thirty seconds or more, even if they respond well. Feel this stimulation as if you were drawing your focus through the whole of each hand. Use a wide brushing stimulation across all fingers, from side to side, covering all fingers. Try splitting awareness and repeating the above stimulations on both hands at the same time.

Palm Work
As with the soles of the foot, the palms of the hands and undersides of the fingers all contain a high concentration of minor chakras. These overlay and feed the complex energy structures within the hands and wrists.
Repeat the same process as you did with the soles of your feet, on the palm of each hand, one at a time. First use a tight, mobile stirring stimulation, moving this stimulation about until you have covered the whole of the palm of each hand, including the underside of all fingers. Next, use a wide brushing stimulation, back and forth, from a few cm above the heel of the palm to the finger tips, covering the entire surface of the palms and undersides of all fingers. Try splitting awareness and brushing both palms together, from above the wrists to the fingertips. Palm work, like sole work, can create intense energy sensations.

Hand Work
Spend at least 20 seconds on each part of these exercises.
Using a large sponging stimulation, move your focus through the entire left hand, from the fingertips to a few cm above the wrist, back and forth, feeling the entire hand. Repeat this on the right hand. Try splitting awareness and sponging through both hands at the same time.

Wrist Work
Spend at least 20 seconds on each part of these exercises.
Use a large stirring stimulation, then a wide brushing stimulation, on top of the left wrist. Repeat all the above stimulations for the underside of the left wrist. Use a wrapping stimulation around the entire left wrist. Repeat all the above stimulations on the right wrist. Try splitting awareness and wrapping both wrists together.

Elbow Work
Spend at least 20 seconds on each part of these exercises.
Use a wide stirring stimulation, then brushing stimulation, on the outer left elbow. Repeat on the inner left elbow. Use a wrapping stimulation around the entire left elbow joint. Repeat all the above stimulations on the right elbow. Try splitting awareness and using wrapping stimulation on both elbows together.

Shoulder Work
Each shoulder caries several large minor chakras, similar to the groin area, but working with these doesn't carry any cautions. Spend at least 20 seconds on each part of the shoulder exercise. It may be easier to hold your arms akimbo while working on your armpits and wrapping shoulder joints. Use a fairly large stirring stimulation, then brushing stimulation, on each of these joint centers-outer shoulder joint (point of shoulder), armpit, rear of shoulder joint, front of shoulder joint. Use a wrapping stimulation around the entire shoulder joint, with arm held akimbo. Repeat all the above exercises with the right shoulder. Try splitting awareness and wrapping both shoulders at the same time, arms akimbo.

Arm Work
Individual arm pathways can be hard to target so it is more practical to work on them as inner and outer pathways only. Accuracy is not required for this as long as each pathway covers around half of the thickness of each arm (inner and outer) so the whole arm is covered. Move focus back and forth, from the fingertips to the shoulder, a dozen times in each direction for the following exercises. Take approximately three seconds over each upward arm sweep and the same down. Along the outer left arm, use a wide brushing stimulation from the fingertips to the wrist, elbow, and outer shoulder. Repeat this on the inner left arm, from the fingertips to the inner wrist, inner elbow, and the armpit. Repeat this on the entire left arm, using sponging stimulation, feeling the entire arm, inside and out. Repeat all the above exercises on the right arm. Try splitting awareness and repeating sponging stimulation with the entirety of both arms at once.

This will become apparent when you start working with some of the more advanced energy raising practice sand full body circuits ahead.
Energy Bounce Techniques
"Energy bounce is a simple but effective awareness technique. It makes use of the awareness resistance factor that occurs when awareness is drawn rapidly through the substance of the energy body. This helps to clear, redefine and strengthen all energy pathways, including the large, internal, bone-marrow cores; by forcing energy to move rapidly through them."
Awareness Resistance Factor
Bruce explains that when focus is moved rapidly through the energy body, natural energetic resistance that feels like something is slowing or dragging the movement, as if moving through liquid, can be faced. This sensations allows you to feel the substance of your own energy body. Focus bounce actions create an energetic ripple-wave effect through your energy body. This ripple-effect, Bruce continues, causes a soft disruption within its substance which forces energy movement and helps clear and develop internal pathways and structures, and it also "loosens up" the energy body.
"As an example (using a rapid sponging stimulation), bounce your focus up and down through the whole of one leg (pick one) from foot to hip, feeling it moving in both directions; as with the earlier whole of limb sponging exercises. Bounce your focus from foot to hip and back, rapidly and repeatedly. Your body awareness is capable of lightning-fast movements and of flicking from one body part to another instantly, but not so when you are moving it through the energy body in this way. Slowly increase the speed of this leg bounce and you will soon feel resistance to the bounce stimulation. You will find there is a natural speed limit of about half a second each way. If you move faster than this, your focus will lose contact with the substance of your energy body and begin flicking from foot to hip and back, while skipping the leg in between. Once this happens you are no longer driving your point of focus through your energy body, and are therefore no longer stimulating it."
Bounce testing
Bruce advises to experiment with increasing the bouncing speed until resistance is faced when bouncing your focus through a part of your body. "Once resistance is felt, slow the speed a little until you are quickly and comfortably bouncing through your body while still retaining the feel of body focus contact. This is the correct speed for the bounce action in that area. Do not count or time this with a watch, just get the feel for what seems like the best speed for you."
Bounce Actions
Leg Bounce
As above, take your focus through one or both legs, from feet to hips. First, test for resistance to gauge the correct speed and bounce frequency, then bounce repeatedly from feet to hips and back to feet again. You'll quickly develop a natural rhythm with this action and you will feel the slight dragging effect it has within your energy body. Often, there can be mild energy movement sensations in the bounce area. Continue bouncing for at least a minute (or for as long as you wish). The bounce action will become almost automatic with practice. Try splitting awareness and bouncing through both legs at the same time.

Arm Bounce
First, test for resistance and adjust speed. As above, bounce focus through one or both arms, from hands to shoulders and back, repeatedly. Try splitting awareness and bouncing through both arms at the same time. An alternative is to this exercise is to hold your arms wide and level, and then bounce from one hand to another with focus passing through the shoulders and chest in between.

Spinal Bounce
"Once you master this technique you can set it in motion and then use your mind for other things-only a small part of your focus is required to keep the bounce action continuing in the background." Bruce mentions this helping with spinal injuries and stimulating the chakras but makes no mention of Kundalini; it should be of big importance that this may help with developing Kundalini/the Serpent. He does mention that developed energy workers should definitely do this exercise daily, however.
Target the coccyx (tailbone) at the base of your spine with your focus (highlight if necessary). Stimulate the coccyx with a brushing stimulation for around thirty seconds. Move your focus along the full length of the spine to just above the top of the head. Bounce focus back and forth, from your coccyx to your head, feeling this up and down the middle of your back, in your spine, all the way. Try and keep this stimulation narrowed to the spine itself. Increase the speed of this stimulation until resistance is faced, then back off to a more comfortable rhythm. Breathe naturally while doing this.

If you have spinal injuries, use a blade-like focus and slice from side to side, starting at the base of the spine and slowly working your way up your spine, spend more time slicing the areas that have issues/are damaged. (Also please read this very important reply from Lady Maxine if you have a severed spinal cord or any problems with nerves being disconnected)

Bruce says to cease stimulation and start energy bouncing if any erotic symptoms or strong energy movement is felt but I disagree, as these are quite normal sensations when working with the Kundalini, to my knowledge at least.
Full Body Bounce
This bounce takes the focus up and down through the entire body. This can be done in any position. Take your focus from both feet, up through both legs, hips, torso, and spine, head, arms, and just above your fingertips. Bounce your focus back and forth, from feet to fingertips, increasing speed until resistance is faced. Use whatever speed feels best. Try to feel your entire body with each bounce. A variation of this is with arms resting at the sides, where focus is bounced from the feet to just above the top of your head-most practical while sitting or standing.

Energy Raising & Storage
Feel all of the coming focus energy raising actions as if you were drawing a large sponge through each pair of limbs and were sponging liquid (energy) up through them, feeling the target area in its entirety as you do this. Try to stay physically relaxed but know that tensing and twitching is normal. You can do this in any position and deep relaxation is not necessary-this makes it quite useful.
If awareness/focus cannot be easily split and two limbs cannot be worked on at the same time, it's okay to only work on one limb at a time. Do your best to adapt these exercises to your needs. Don't worry if one limb doesn't respond as well as the opposite limb, we usually have a weaker and stronger limb. Keep trying with the unresponsive side and continue using the arms and legs as pairs when doing these exercises. If one leg/arm is all you can feel then draw energy through it but do not neglect the unresponsive ones-these unresponsive parts require more clearing with the earlier exercises given so please repeat those as much as it needs and make sure to take your time. Regular stimulation of these areas will improve the energy flow.
Energy Raising
Bruce states that there are two ways to raising energy-with focus alone or with focus aided by natural breathing stimulation. We Zevists know that this is inaccurate, as physical exercise, visualization, and vibration/mantras also play a role in raising energy (along focus as well). The first following exercises will be the basic procedures for raising energy in this system with focus alone and the methods to raise energy to chakras will follow.
Basic Procedures for Leg Energy Raising
First brush back and forth across all toes of one foot, with a single wide brushing stimulation for about 30 seconds. Then, use a wide brushing stimulation on the sole, for about 30 seconds as well. Finally, draw a deep sponging stimulation through the entire foot for about 30 seconds. Repeat all the above for the other foot. Split awareness and repeat above sponging action with both feet at the same time. Continue this until you feel energy movement in one or both feet. If you have no trouble with this and get a good response, directly skip to doing the split awareness sponging for future attempts at this exercise. Splitting awareness, reach down and grab the energy of both feet with your astral hands and pull it upwards, sponge it up through the entirety of both legs to your hips, feel the entirety of your legs as you do this. Take energy up over the front of the hips (avoiding the genitals) and direct this energy into your solar plexus chakra. Feel your solar plexus chakra sucking in all the energy and then instantly flick your focus back to your feet (do not move the energy down) and repeat these upward energy sweeps.

Basic Procedures for Arm Energy Raising
If sitting in a chair, hang your arms by your sides or rest them (palms upward) on your knees. If lying down, lift your hands above the bed, with your elbows resting beside you on the bed's surface. Alternatively, do whatever feels most comfortable to you, as that is the priority with positioning yourself. Stimulate all fingers with a wide brushing stimulation across them and then both palms with another wide brushing stimulation and then the entirety of both hands with a large sponging stimulation, feeling the entirety of the wrists, hands, and all fingers. After energy movement is felt, continue to the next step. Split awareness and draw energy through both hands with a large sponging stimulation. Continue this stimulation on up through the entirety of both arms, through your shoulders, down your chest/stomach and into your solar plexus chakra. Instantly flick your focus back to your fingers and repeat.

Note: If this exercise is used alongside the upcoming "full body energy raising circuit" then direct the energy to the back of your neck and combine it with the energy raised through your spine.
Raising Energy With Breathing
Bruce explains that we will now begin to start raising energy with a "full body circuit" which stimulates the entire energy body and energy pathway (nadis) development, steadily and safely increasing energy flow and vitality. He states that breathing creates natural motion within the energy body, creating a natural up/down, in/out energy movement and natural rhythm that can be useful to synchronize with your focus in any exercises.
Arms & Legs
If starting out with the next exercises, the first step is loosening and stimulating your feet, legs, hands, and arms. Repeat the above two sections on leg and arm energy raising until you feel energy movement. If nothing is felt, simply continue with the next exercises. Energy is still drawn into your energy body even if nothing is felt-this process of drawing energy into blocked areas should still be done.
Full Body Storage Circuits
Two Part Storage Circuit
The Two Part Storage Circuit is intended to take arm and leg energy into the solar plexus chakra. This will, in time, develop a natural rhythm, making sustained circulation easier. It can be done at any time in any position.
Use the Leg & Arm Energy Raising techniques. Before the IN breath (inhale), center focus in feet. During the IN breath, raise energy up legs and into the solar plexus chakra (continue flowing energy into the solar plexus chakra until the inhale is finished). When the IN breath finishes, flick awareness into the hands instantly. As the OUT breath (exhale) starts, draw energy through your arms down to your chest and into your solar plexus chakra, continue with this until the exhale is finished. At the end of the OUT breath, instantly flick your focus back to your feet. Repeat the entirety of the IN-OUT sequence. Arms/legs and in/out correspondence can be reversed if preferred.

Full Body Storage Circuit
Bruce states that this circuit covers the entire body with a continual flow of energy rather than two separate flows as with the previous exercise. He explains that this exercise stimulates the majority of all nadis and chakras and that it should be done for at least 15 minutes daily to feel lasting results but that there is no limit for how long this can be done. Long sessions are more beneficial but they can also be split up into short exercises throughout the day. With a continuous practice this circuit becomes almost automatic and can be combined with other trance and energy work. If this exercise is done before going to sleep, it can increase the vividness and lucidity of your dreams. The focus stimulation used in the full body circuit can be reasonably wide and does not have to be narrowed down to just the spine. Allow the stimulation to spread out as energy is raised up through your back. Hold focus close, feeling the movement entirely as you take your focus down to the front of your body. This part of the stimulation can be reasonably wide as well and allowed to spread out as it descends, narrowing again as it starts flowing into the solar plexus chakra.
Use slow and reasonably deep breathing and hold your focus firmly in your body. Stimulate the feet and hands (with brushing, usually) and bounce focus through your whole body a few times before starting (Just do what you feel like is the best warm-up for this exercise). This can be done in any position. All preliminary stimulation exercises can be skipped if many short sessions are done throughout the day.
Before the IN breath (inhale), center focus in the feet. During the entire IN breath, raise energy up your legs, through the hips and to the spine, the back of your neck, and to the top of your head. Hold your focus firmly in the entirety of the top of the head and feel the energy flowing and accumulating into your crown chakra until the inhale is finished. As the exhale starts, sweep your focus down over your face; into your mouth, down the throat, to the chest, and flowing to the solar plexus chakra for the entirety of the exhale.

Joining Arms Into Full Body Circuit
Once you're comfortable with the previous exercise, try joining your arms into the energy flow as well. This increases overall energy flow and draws in different types of energy through your hands. If this version does not seem to suit you, then you may use the previous exercise for your routines.
During the above previous full body circuit exercise, as focus passes where the hands are resting, on its way upwards, draw energy in through the hands, up the arms, as well. Raise arm energy in line with the rest of the energy flow in one, fluid, upwards, whole-body energy raising sweep. Feel your arm energy joining into the spinal energy flow at the back of your neck (or just feel it generally rising and joining with the energy flow). Smoothly continue the focus upwards into the crown chakra. Continue the full body circuit, as given in the previous exercise, from here on. The only change is the addition of arm energy into the flow with each upwards energy sweep on the IN breath (inhale)-everything else stays the same.

VERY IMPORTANT: Do the Energy, Circulating Energy, Directing Energy, and Drawing in Energy Meditations as well to develop astral senses further!
Direct Solar Plexus Chakra Energy Raising
After practicing energy raising for a few weeks and becoming energy sensitive, you'll become aware of many different types of energy and more aware of your solar plexus chakra as well. Once this begins to happen you'll be able to draw in energy directly into your solar plexus chakra through both arms and legs, all at the same time. When this is first done, it's best to start with only the legs, drawing energy up through them as a pair. The arms can also be used on their own as another pair, drawing energy into the solar plexus chakra. Once each of these methods has been practiced on its own for a while, it can be attempted to combine them and draw energy through both arms and legs at the same time. This technique is very versatile and can be done anywhere, anytime, to take advantage of high energy areas and situations. But it should not replace the full body circuit as this does not cover the whole body.
Legs: Pre-stimulate (use a brushing stimulation) and bounce feet and legs as necessary. Center focus in solar plexus chakra. While holding this focus, reach out with more of your focus and become aware of the entirety of both legs and feet. Feel your legs as being attached to your solar plexus chakra, imagining they are part of a large upside-down V, with the solar plexus chakra at its tip. Feel a vacuum-like emptiness in your solar plexus chakra. Feel energy flowing and being drawn up through the entirety of both legs simultaneously. Do not brush or sponge your focus up your legs, just feel the energy flowing up through them like water under pressure, in a continuous stream.
Arms: Pre-stimulate and bounce arms and hands as necessary. Center focus in solar plexus chakra. While holding this, reach out with more of your focus and feel the entirety of both arms and their hands. If arms are resting at your sides, feel them as being attached to your solar plexus chakra like they are apart of a large M. If raised or another position imagine another figure, a V or T for example. Feel a vacuum-like emptiness in your solar plexus chakra. Feel energy flowing and being drawn up through the entirety of both arms simultaneously. Do not brush or sponge up your arms, just feel the energy flowing up through them. Feel this energy flowing up both arms to the shoulders, and then feel each of these energy streams flowing down over the front of your chest, before flowing down into your solar plexus chakra. Feel the energy flowing into your solar plexus chakra and being stored therein.
Arms & Legs Together: Pre-stimulate limbs as necessary. As Above, center your focus strongly in your solar plexus chakra. While holding this focus, reach out with more of your focus and feel the entirety of both arms and legs simultaneously. Create a feeling of suction, drawing energy in through both arms and legs, at the same time. Feel the energy flowing into your solar plexus chakra and being stored therein.

"All the above actions create a strong energy demand in the solar plexus chakra. Energy will be drawn into the body through the hands and feet in response to this energy demand. Again, this should not be used to replace the full body circuit, but can be very useful under certain circumstances."
Energy Flow & Effort
Bruce explains in this section that for normal energy raising and development, it's strongly recommended that only a normal level of focus effort should be used. (no overexertion of focus) He says that this will make the energy body stronger, as focus that is too strong could cause too rapid energy channel (nadis) expansion, which could cause them to be delicate and unstable and possibly even retract after a while. Bruce states that increased focus should be used to clear blockages and overcome lethargy, but not for general energy raising and long-term development. He says that clearing blockages may cause high energy usage which can create fatigue. Random energy movements outside of energy work are considered normal and a positive sign.
Energy Resistance
Strong energy movement sensations could primarily be caused by resistance within the energy body, he states. He explains it as natural resistance to an increased flow of energy. Energy movement sensations will decrease gradually as the energy body gets used to the improved/expanded energy flow. This decrease does not mean you're doing anything wrong, continue with your routines!
COMMON ENERGY MOVEMENT SENSATIONS (By Bruce)
1. Tingling, tickling, buzzing and vibrating, in soles and palms, fingers and toes
2. Rushing water sensation, up legs and arms
3. Bone-deep tingling inside hands, feet, legs and arms
4. Heaviness and fuzziness, especially in hands and feet
5. Tingling, energetic body-rush feelings, up arms, legs and spine
6. Localized fluttering and pulsing in flesh and on skin
7. Muscular spasms and twitching limbs
8. Cobweb like tickling, like ants crawling all over you
9. Localized stinging and prickling sensations
10. Aching or burning hot or cold patches, especially in soles and palms
11. Needle-like pricking pains
12. Muscular cramps
Etheric Wrap Technique
Etheric wrap is a versatile technique, useful for clearing energy blockages and restoring damaged parts of the energy body. Energy blockages and damaged areas can easily be detected once energy sensitivity is developed. Areas that are unresponsive, heavy, or in any way different from the rest of your body can sometimes indicate damage/blockages. These areas will this need special attention to restore them. When you draw or bounce focus through your body, you may also come upon areas that feel heavier or lighter or fuzzier. Or you might come across areas that provide, more or less, resistance to bounce stimulation or that seem to deflect them. These areas should be suspected as being damaged and of needing restoration work, Bruce states.
Use a wide wrapping stimulation over the damaged area. Using your imagination, imagine an endless white-gold bandage of pure energy flowing from your astral hands. Feel this bandage of energy lowing into the damaged area as you wrap it. Feel the substance of your own energy body flowing into it. This stimulation is to be varied to suit the size and position of the area being worked upon.
Example (Leg): Focus target your foot, then begin wrapping from the toes up, as if you were carefully wrapping an overlapping energy bandage around it. Feel your energy flowing into that area, into the foot, through your astral hands. Continue wrapping up over your foot, ankle, up on your leg, all the way to your hip. Take your time with this, overlapping the wrapping stimulation all the way. Repeat as often as required.
Affirm: "This energy has healed my [target area] and all its energy channels in the most beneficial and effective way for me."
If you need to work on a particular internal organ with the etheric wrap technique, first found out exactly where the organ is located inside your body. Move your astral hands inside your body and feel for the organ in question. Feel your astral hands massaging the organ and feel an endless white-gold stream of energy flowing into and being absorbed by the organ. Note that some energy blockages will not appear for some time, many will only become apparent after energy development has been underway for some time, weeks or even months.
Note: This has been modified to include white-gold energy instead of white energy, as it is the most powerful type of energy-if pure white feels better for you then you can use this as well-but keep in mind that white is a very "isolating" color. If you're able to invoke/feel Aether then add this to the technique as well.
High Energy Areas
Bruce explains that some areas have high energy, for example: green wooded areas like parks and forests, oceans, beaches, lakes, rivers, rapids and waterfalls, mountains and hills, places where there is art and/or music, happy and excited crowds. And also times of sunset and sunrise, stormy, rainy and blustery windy days, early morning sunshine, moonlight and starlight. These are the best areas/times to get the most out of raising energy, according to Bruce. We Zevists, however, know that planetary hours also heavily play a role in when the best time to raise energy is (Hour of the Sun). He additionally states that your body will start tingling automatically when in the presence of high levels of energy (when sensitivity is developed).
Energy Vampirism
He explains that a possible negative side-effect is that if a high energy person comes into contact with a low energy person, often the energy deficit in the low energy person will cause energy flow into them, taken from the high energy person. It can be interpreted as energy vampirism or energy healing. Direct contact or touch is not necessary with low energy people, and this could even happen from calling them over the telephone. Energy transfer is not weakened by distance as long as there is some kind of empathic connection to carry the energy, he states. Some people may not seem energy depleted but are bottomless pits with insatiable appetites for energy-be vigilant of these. Everyone knows someone like that-you only have to be with them for a short time and your energy just seeps away. You quickly become bored, mildly-depressed, and tired. Low energy people like this should ideally, either be convinced to practice energy raising themselves, or avoided as much as possible. These effects can be countered to some extent by raising energy while you are associating with or talking with them, or by raising energy after this has ended. It can also help if you avoid physical contact and avoid making direct eye contact with them. You don't have to hide your eyes from people like this: simply look at the area between their eyes, instead of directly into their eyes during conversations.
Mouth Centres & Exchange Ports
Throughout his book, Bruce often references his concept of "Energy Exchange Ports" and assigns these to locations such as the palms, soles, mouth, nose, etc. Essentially, this term is meant to represent ports where energy is drawn into the body or "exchanged". These ports exist in the mouth, throat, lips, tongue, etc. he states that these likely extract energy from the foods and drinks we chew and swallow. The absorption of energy through these ports can be enhanced by stimulating them directly.
Pre-Stimulating Mouth Area
Each of the below stimulations should be continued for 20 seconds or more. Stimulate more of your mouth, lips, tongue, and throat, if you wish. These stimulation techniques can also be used prior to starting a full body circuit to enhance the mouth/throat part of these procedures.
With your tongue pressed gently against the lips, or protruding slightly, center focus on the lips and use a brushing stimulation, back and forth, across the entirety of the lips. Open mouth slightly and stick your tongue out a little-center focus on the tip of the tongue and use a wrapping stimulation around it. The area to be worked on is about what could comfortably be protruded from your mouth if your tongue were gently protruded, without forcing it. Close mouth and relax, then use the mobile, rotary stirring stimulation on the top surface of the tongue. Use a wide brushing stimulation along your tongue, brushing back and forth, covering the entire length of the tongue from the base to the tip. Roll the tongue back and press it gently against the roof of your mouth, without straining it. Focus on the inside of the mouth and not on the tongue, brush the whole inside lining of the mouth: top, bottom, sides, and inside of lips, in whatever feels easiest, covering the entire inner lining surface. With your mouth closed, use a sponging stimulation, taking in lips, mouth, tongue and throat, to the base of the throat, moving this stimulation back and forth. Bend this stimulation as it passes down your throat, then back up to your lips. Imagine you have a thick, bent tube inserted into your mouth and that this tube extends deep into your throat. Feel your focus moving back and forth through this tube, taking in your lips; the whole inside lining of your mouth and tongue, and then moving it deep into your throat to its base where it joins your chest, in and out repeatedly.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my mouth, tongue, throat, and lips have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Stimulation on the lips and tongue can cause peculiar energy movement sensations. Strong tingling/buzzing sensations in the lips and tongue and a noticeably metallic taste in your tongue are normal, Bruce states. While not directly related to this exercise, but to "New Age meditations that focus on the heart chakra," Lady Maxine has referenced this type of taste in your mouth, so it is still most likely not recommended to swallow this.

Food Energy Awareness
Pre-stimulate mouth, as shown above. when eating and drinking, feel yourself chewing and swallowing and extracting the life force from your food and drink. Eat and chew slowly and swallow thoughtfully, using your focus to suck the maximum amount of life force out of all foods and drinks. Take this energy down into your throat and swallow it into your body as you swallow the foods and drinks. This energy will naturally flow into the energy body's storage areas from there.
Affirm: "I have extracted all of the life energy of this food in the most effective and beneficial way for me"
This works with any type of food, but more value can be gained from a natural diet of fresh, high-quality, organically grown foods. The fresher and more naturally are grown, prepared, and eaten, the more high-quality life energy they will contain. But whatever you eat, this technique will assist to extract the maximum energy value from your food.
Crowd & Excitement Energy
Excited and happy crowds can release massive amounts of emotional energy into the surrounding atmosphere. This energy can be drawn in and used to increase energy levels. Center focus strongly in your solar plexus and reach out with your feelings to the entirety of the surrounding crowd. Feel for the energy that is permeating the atmosphere as you feel the crowd and its excitement. Draw this energy directly into your solar plexus chakra, using the direct energy raising technique given earlier.
Wind Energy
Great outdoor exercise for raising energy through the hands alone. This can be done at any time with no preparation. This is particularly invigorating in windy, blustery weather, e.g. where a breeze is blowing off the ocean, lakes, or mountains. If this is combined with energy breathing (next section) it can also have a very positive effect upon respiratory disorders. Bruce states that he had very positive results using this to help treat respiratory disorders in both children and adults.
Pre-stimulate hands, if necessary. Hold fingers wide, hands at sides, and feel the temperature and texture of the wind moving through your fingers. Raise arms slightly, palms out with fingers still spread wide, holding focus firmly centered in the entirety of both hands. Feel the energy in the wind. Feel your hands, and feel energy flowing into your hands and into your body. Draw the wind's energy in through your hands at the start of each IN breath (inhale). Take it up through your arms over your shoulders and down over the chest and flow it into your solar plexus chakra. Continue flowing energy into it for the remainder of the IN breath. Relax during the OUT breath (exhale) and feel all the tension and negative energy flowing up through the lungs and out through the mouth like a dark cloud of waste energy, for the whole OUT breath. Flick focus back to hands and feel the wind again, at the end of OUT breath, ready to start the next IN breath.
Affirm while doing the exercise: After Inhaling: "I am breathing in powerful energy in the most beneficial way for me" After Exhaling: "I am safely removing all stale and negative from my body in the most effective way for me"
Energy Breathing
The energy absorbed by breathing can be increased by adding focus and visualization to natural breathing. Become consciously aware of the air entering your nose, moving into and through the nasal passages and down into your lungs. Your focus must follow the leading edge of the air, all the way in as it is breathed IN and your lungs fill, and all the way OUT as waste air is exhaled. Visualization can be used to enhance this even more by imagining the air being breathed charged with colored energy, and by feeling this color being absorbed into the lungs. The expulsion of waste energy can also be enhanced by feeling waste energy leaving the body as a cloud during the OUT breath and by imagining this as being a dirty color.
Affirm while doing the exercise: After Inhaling: "I am breathing in powerful energy in the most beneficial way for me" After Exhaling: "I am safely removing all stale and negative from my body in the most effective way for me"
Nasal Stimulation
There are some minor chakras/nadis around the nose that can increase the effectiveness of energy breathing, if they are pre-stimulated. Bruce states that these are, apart from being related to the natural process of breathing energy into the body, also related to the energetic support structures of the third eye and crown chakras (unverified).
Do each of the following stimulations for 20 seconds or so. Using stirring stimulation, stimulate the tip of the nose, circling the entire tip, including nostril entrances. Using a small brushing stimulation, stimulate inside nostril entrances. Feel as if you are repeatedly pushing a small paintbrush deep inside each nostril with your focus, in and out. Using a slightly larger brushing stimulation, stimulate the entire length of your nose, brushing from the upper lip, over the nose, past the eyebrows and ending at the hairline above the brow. Continue this up and down, over and over, feeling the entirety of your nose as you do so. Sponge stimulate the entirety of your nose, move focus through the nose, from the upper lips to the middle of the brow ridges, back and forth, over and over, feeling the entirety of the nose as you stimulate it.
Energy Breathing Technique: Breathe deeply and slowly IN through the nose and OUT through the mouth. Feel the life giving air and its energy entering your body. Follow the leading edge of this air. Feel this entering and caressing your nasal passages. Feel it moving down the back of your throat and down into your lungs, to the very bottom of your lungs. It is easy to feel this depth as much deeper than it really is, and accuracy is not required. Feel the air and its energy moving deeper, flowing deep into your belly and entering your solar plexus chakra. The above is easier to do if you concentrate only on the leading edge of the air being taken in, so your focus moves with the front part of the whole air intake only. Breathe OUT slowly through your mouth. Be aware of the leading edge of your breath rising up from deep within your lungs, and up through your throat and out of your mouth. Feel waste energy leaving your lungs and body along with the waste air, for the entire OUT breath. Flick focus back to the tip of your nose, ready for the next inhale and repeat the entire process. Do not breathe rapidly to avoid hyperventilation. Slow, deep, and regular breathing produces best results. Continue the above for as long as you wish.
Affirm for both exercises: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my nose and nasal channels have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Adding Color
With the above energy breathing technique, color can be added to increase its effectiveness or for specific purposes (Refer to Color). It's easier adding color to breathing, again, by focusing only on the leading edge of each IN and OUT breath. With practice this color can be expanded to fill more of the lungs with color, and to expel larger clouds of the waste energy/color.
For the IN breath, imagine the air you are breathing in is made of a shining white-gold color with specks of golden dust (Astral Gold) (any other color you're using for a special purpose). Feel the leading edge of this brightly colored energy moving into you with each IN breath and filling you with life giving energy. Feel this energy being absorbed into your entire body as your lungs fill. With each OUT breath, imagine the air being a dirty color and feel this dirty energy and disease leaving your body.
Scent Stimulation
Bruce states that certain minor chakras in the nose can be best stimulated using fragrance and suggests using an oil burner evaporating diluted fragrant oil, but any type of incense, oil, or potpourri method can also be used (or even fresh flowers). For specific healing effects on the physical body, Bruce recommends to read up on aromatherapy and using recommended fragrances given by experts in that field.
Scent Stimulation Method
Repeat nasal stimulation exercise as given earlier. Breathe in the scent slowly. Close your eyes and concentrate on the smell and texture of the scent. Feel the leading edge of this scented air entering your nose. Feel the texture and body of this scent penetrating deeply as lungs fill. Combine focus of fragrance with energy breathing, as above. As you breathe in, not only feel the energy and imagine the color, but consciously smell and feel the texture of the fragrance being used entering your body.

[1ADD] More Personal Additions and Thoughts
The Tracing exercise and stimulation (both together or separately) could be used in conjunction with TCM fundamentals to trace/stimulate meridians and acupoints and improve their function. For example, if one has a problem with their heart, one could try to trace and stimulate the heart meridian and other acupoints related to the specific function one has issues with. One could also try to tune into the various processes of our body (such as energy circulation or specific things like certain processes from organs as described in TCM) and improve their functioning per focus and visualization. Of course, using knowledge of modern medicine to perfectly visualize processes within our body to improve them is also possible. Make sure to always add proper affirmations after every exercise/meditations you do.
Tracing and stimulation (ideally with complementary visualization as well) can be used to open (and empower) nadis, minor chakras, meridians, etc. and used for other alchemical purposes. There are lots of possibilities here, be smart and creative.
The stirring stimulation will obviously help a lot in chakra spinning (see advanced chakra spinning also)
The exercises for the hands and feet from here and ToZ are powerful to improve at healing and directing energy.
Please make sure to open all Chakras do the Clairvoyance and Clairaudience Points Meditations to improve your astral senses and open up the minor chakras that govern their functions. Adding stimulation to the back of your head (cerebellum) may also be a good idea (other sources I have read state that this is a point that governs astral senses as well but this hasn't been verified by ToZ sources)

Chakra Extension Spinal Bounce
Do the Spinal Bounce exercise but imagine four columns in every direction around the spinal column representing the chakra extensions and feel these pulling energy from their respective directions into your spine as you do the exercise (bounce energy through all of these columns as well).

Tactile Imaging (TI) and Mobile Body Awareness (MBA) are methods compiled by a well-known astral projection researcher and author called Robert Bruce. His methods consist of using the physical senses of touch, rather than visualization, to shift your awareness to your energy body and develop/enhance your energy sense. Here in this article, I edited some of the exercises and chapters from his book "New Energy Ways" and give some pointers on how his methods could also be applied to established Temple of Zeus paradigms. These exercises also include many important exercises for the feet and palm chakras so it is recommended to try those out as well, especially if you have issues with opening/feeling them. All credits for the exercises go to Robert Bruce, I simply shamelessly copied everything here and just added a bit of additional context, thank him instead of me. At the end of this article, I have given some more ideas on the application of these exercises.
Make sure to do the 40 day meditation program if you haven't already! (These exercises can also be done while going through that program). These first few exercises should be done daily for beginners.
Important ToZ Meditations for Feeling Energy & Developing Astral Senses: Energy, Circulating Energy, Directing Energy, and Drawing in Energy Meditations!
Highlighting
Bruce uses light scratching and other physical sensations for beginners to form an energetic connection with a certain part of your body. The tingling sensation that remains after stopping scratching is to be focused upon.
Exercise 1 - Localizing Body Awareness
Lightly scratch your left knee so it leaves a tingling sensation. Close your eyes and intensely focus your awareness on this tingling feeling, shift all of your attention to it. Do this until you feel like you created a connection with the area that was scratched. Then, expand your focus become aware of the whole joint of the knee, feel its outline and shape, and then, the same with your entire left knee.
Affirm: "I am effortlessly able to feel and stimulate any part of my astral body perfectly at will, at any time"
Exercise 2 - Localizing Body Awareness 2
Lightly scratch your right knee, close your eyes, focus on the tingling, and feel the outline and shape of the right knee. Now wiggle your big toe and shift your focus to it and feel the outline and shape of it. Then, do the same with other parts of your body (both lightly scratching and moving the body part itself can be used to highlight it).
Affirm: "I am effortlessly able to feel and control any part of my astral body at will, at any time"
This process of scratching, focusing your awareness/creating a connection, and then becoming aware of a bigger part of the targeted area is applicable to any part of your body. Do these exercises often to improve your energy sense.
Essentially, these exercises are based around: Highlighting -> Focus Targeting -> Deepen Focus/Expansion of Focus
Exercise 3 - Tracing Pathways
Lightly trace your finger along the surface of the body and follow this movement with your focus.
Lightly trace a path with your finger from the base of the left thumb to the left shoulder while keeping your eyes closed. Ignore the physical sensations and fully trace the movement/path with your focus. Repeat this with your right arm. Then, trace a path from your left big toe along your foot to your ankle, to the outside of the shin of your kneecap, to the outside of your thigh beside your left hip joint, and then back to your left big toe again. Repeat this with your right leg.
Affirm: "I am effortlessly and precisely able to feel and control any part of my astral body at will, at any time"
Alternatively, if light tracing is not enough, then light scratching is fine as well. Tools can be used for stimulation as well (ruler, brushes, pencils, etc.). You can trace the path back and forth if you need more time to focus.
Exercise 4 - Mobile Body Awareness
Focus into your right knee until you can feel it well. Slowly move your focus down the outside of your right shin. Keep moving your focus until you reach the right foot and then move to your right big toe and expand your focus on it. Wiggle it a bit and focus on the big toe to the best of your ability. Then, do the same with the next toe; feel its shape and outline and expand your focus on it and move to the next toe and do the same thing (wiggle/highlight when necessary). Next, move your focus to your left foot and feel the entire left foot. Tense/flex/highlight your left foot and expand your focus on it. Then, center your focus into your left big toe and then keep moving your focus, going to the left ankle, left shin, thigh next to left hip, left shoulder, left arm, and left hand. Expand the focus on the entire left hand and then move through each finger and expand your focus on it, starting from the thumb (keep the focus steady on all previous fingers you moved through). You can repeat this with inverted directions as well. Highlight when needed.
Affirm: "I am effortlessly and precisely able to feel and control any part of my astral body at will, at any time"
Tactile Imaging
Tactile Imaging combines Mobile Body Awareness with repetitive movements done with focus on the target area. This includes things like clockwise movements, among other things. These movements are done with focus alone. Tactile Imaging can be used to affect/activate/open/empower target areas. Bruce writes that a lack of feeling in certain areas of the body might indicate blockages or energetic inactivity.
Exercise 5 - Tactile Imaging Stirring Test
Keep your hands comfortably in front of you, with your palms facing upwards and fingers slightly apart. Take a few moments to focus on your entire left hand and then move your focus to the tip of your left thumb, after a few moments, start to create a clockwise spinning movement on the tip with your focus as if you were stirring it with a pencil, continue doing this until you feel like the movement is very clear and then move to the next finger and do the same. After finishing this with your last finger, focus on the middle of your palm and do the same there and do the same with the point below the middle of the palm as well. Repeat this for the right hand and then do this for the toes on both sides as well. (For the feet, use the point below the toes and the point to the right below that)
Affirm: "I am effortlessly able to feel and stimulate any part of my astral body perfectly at will, at any time"
Note: The original exercise given by Bruce focuses on the bones of each finger, but since the visualization given in ToZ gives precedence to the fingertips, I have modified these.
Exercise 5.1 - Tactile Imaging Brushing Test
Keep your hands comfortably in front of you, with your palms facing upwards. Start to focus on your entire left hand and then focus on the point on the middle of the palm. Then, start focusing on a brushing movement from the point at the middle of the palm to the point below it as if you were painting with a brush, feel this movement continuously going up and down/back and forth between both points. After you've established a clear feeling of this movement, focus on the point on the middle of the palm and focus on a brushing movement from this point to the tip of the thumb, after establishing the feeling of the movement, do the same for each finger, one after the other, starting each movement from the middle of the palm. Repeat this for the right hand and then do this for the toes on both sides as well. (For the feet, use the point below the toes and the point to the right below that)
Affirm: "I am effortlessly able to feel and stimulate any part of my astral body perfectly at will, at any time"
Awareness Hands/Astral Hands
Bruce introduces Astral Hands as tools to raise energy, clear blockages, and manipulate energy more efficiently. The more you utilize them the easier they are to manoeuvre and the more effective they are. He explains that all of us have a stronger and weaker hand, corresponding to brain hemisphere dominance. These hands "should" be, according to Bruce, felt as if attached to imaginary arms connecting to your shoulders.
Exercise 6 - Raising Energy with the Astral Hands
Close your eyes and relax while in a comfortable position. Take both of your astral hands down to your left foot as if you were grabbing/holding it (highlight the left foot with scratching/physical movement if necessary). Draw your astral hands through your left foot, to your ankle, and then up through your leg. Feel your leg fully, inside and out, as you move them upwards through it. Draw your astral hands up your shin, knee, thigh, and hip. When you get to your hip, instantly bring your focus back to your toes/the bottom of the foot and repeat this upwards motion. Do NOT stroke the leg back down with your astral hands after you are finished with the upwards motion, focus should instantly be brought to the bottom. Repeat this upward motion and then do the same with your right leg. Try this upward motion with other parts of your body as well, remember to feel the target area as much as possible as you do this. Each upward motion should take a few seconds.
Affirm: "I am effortlessly able to feel and control my astral hands perfectly at will, at any time"
Exercise 7 - Splitting Awareness
Do the last exercise but this time do the upward motion with each of your astral hands on your corresponding legs at the same time. After some practice, increase the speed gradually to where you can get from the bottom of your feet to your hip within 2-3 seconds. If you have trouble with doing both at the same time, use both of your astral arms on a single leg until using both feels more comfortable. When you raise energy up both legs, imagine and feel as if you are sweeping/sponging water up through the whole of your both legs with your astral hands. Imagine your astral hands are each holding a large sponge and that you are sponging water upwards through your legs. "The water keeps trying to runback down your legs, but focused awareness effort and concentration can be used to force the water (the energy) to rise. This addition will give your astral hands a better feel and grip on the energy, which increases the effectiveness of the energy raising action."
"It is more beneficial to be able to use one point of body awareness (one awareness action) effectively in these early exercises than it is to be able to split awareness." i.e. it's best to focus on getting the basics mastered first rather than jumping too deeply into splitting awareness and neglecting the basics.
Types of Stimulation
Bruce describes different types of sensations that can be applied to any part of your energy body (and perhaps the energy bodies of others as well).
1. Stirring Stimulation
Move your focus in a clockwise circle as if you were stirring the target area with a finger. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
2. Brushing Stimulation
Move your focus back and forth like brushing the target area with a paint brush. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
3. Wrapping Stimulation
Move your focus around the target area as if wrapping a bandage around it continuously. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
4. Tearing Stimulation
Use your astral hands in a two-handed tearing action. Feel your astral hands tearing the target area apart continuously.
As far as I know, Bruce advises something very bad here when he said "this could be used on the chakras", do not do this kind of stimulation on your chakras themselves. This type of stimulation could help you remove blockages when directly targeted at them but could be harmful when targeted at your chakras and nadis themselves. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application.
5. Sponging Stimulation
Imagine and feel your astral hands holding a large sponge and that they are sponging water (energy) upwards through the entire area that is targeted. Used raising the energy in a specific part of the body but can also be used more broadly. The size of this stimulation should vary depending on its application. Do not use any downward movements here.
Note by Bruce: "With all the above awareness actions [stimulation types], it is the action of feeling your point of body awareness moving ‘through’ your physical body that stimulates the energy body enmeshed within it. This motion causes energetic stimulation and movement within the energy body itself. Imagine the awareness action is causing a kind of Ripple Wave effect in the energy body whenever it moves through it." He also recommends not wearing any tight clothes as these may interfere with the exercises. Bruce mentions that some people might have inactive/blocked minor chakras on one side of the body more than the other.
Preliminary Stimulation
In this section, Bruce notes that the exercises work progressively, with each exercise opening more nadis and making further exercises easier, he underlines that the early exercises should not be neglected.
Redefining Energy Pathways
Bruce states that energy pathways can become blocked and that the way to unblock them is by repeatedly drawing energy into, through, and around them. "The more often energy is drawn through them the stronger and more well defined they become, and the more energy can thus be drawn through them."
Feet & Leg Development
Bruce explains that the feet are vital for handing higher amounts of power and energy as they are powerful energy conduits that supply the energy body. If energy flow is to be increased heavily, he states that these exercises must be done without fail. He notes that one foot might feel less energetically responsive than the other and says that this is normal and that these will progressively clear. If nothing is felt after spending several minutes working on each big toe, continue with the next step of the exercises. In the beginning, 2-3 minutes should be spent focusing on each big toe joint or until they respond energetically, once it responds, move on to the next joint exercise.
VERY IMPORTANT: Perform the Opening the Feet Chakras Meditation as well!
Toe Exercise 1
Focus on the top of the joint of your left big toe where it joins your foot (the second joint in from the toenail). Press your finger into this area and the slight bony lump you feel there is the top of the joint. This is the site of the first minor chakra to be worked on. Give this area a light scratch or rub to highlight it until it tingles slightly and use a clockwise stirring stimulation approximately 2cm in diameter (depending on the size of your big toe). If you have issues with this then slowly scratch or trace this circle on your skin and follow it with your focus until you feel the stirring stimulation clearly. Continue the stirring stimulation and concentrate on this feeling until you feel a buzzing/fuzzy sensation or pressure in the joint and the surrounding area. Repeat this for the upper joint of the big toe that is closer to the toenail. Repeat this for both joints on the right big toe as well. Use the brushing stimulation (from the tip of the toe to a few cm after the big joint where it joins the foot) on both big toes, one at a time. Use a wrapping stimulation and wrap both big toes thoroughly, one at a time. Use the sponging stimulation through the entirety of both big toes, one at a time.

Toe Exercise 2
Use deep brushing and sponging stimulation only on every lesser toe, starting with the toe next to the big toe on the foot that feels the most energetically responsive to you. Then do the same with the other toe and spend a bit more time working on it and any other unresponsive toes to clear up any possible blockages.

Note by Bruce: The deep brushing and sponging stimulations are the only actions normally used on all the lesser toes, along their entire length from the tip of the toenail, to a couple of inches past where they join the main foot. The stirring and wrapping actions are not normally used on these. The reason for this being that most people have difficulty awareness targeting small parts of their lesser toes, and the brushing and sponging actions usually provide adequate stimulation.
Toe Exercise 3
Using a slightly wider brushing stimulation (from tips of the toes to just past where they join the main foot) and starting with your most responsive foot, brush your focus across the entire tops of all your toes at the same time, from side to side, from big toe to small toe, back and forth. Feel this brushing stimulation penetrate deeply into all your toes. Repeat this with your other foot. Try splitting your awareness to do this with both feet at the same time.

Sole Work
Bruce states that the soles are covered with a high concentration of important minor chakras and that these exercises should be done as thoroughly as possible as well.
Sole Exercise 1
Focus on the middle of the sole of your left foot. Highlight if necessary. Use a small clockwise stirring stimulation, about 3cm and circle your focus there continuously. Then, move this continuous stirring movement over the under-surface of your foot and all toes. Keep the stirring stimulation going at all times, covering the entire area. Continue this stirring until you covered the entire underside of your foot several times, including the underside of all toes and the heel. Spend at least five minutes on each sole with this (for beginners) or until the surface of each sole begins to be very responsive.

Sole Exercise 2
Using a wide brushing stimulation, as if painting the soles with a large paint brush. Brush focus back and forth from heels to toes, covering the entire underside of each foot deeply with the brushing stimulation, one foot at a time. Repeat this this for the other foot and then do both at once.

Feet & Sensations
In this section, Bruce explains that doing these exercises may cause intense sensations and buzzing in/on them and says that this is normal and that it is a good symptom. He states that if sensations become too strong try to move on to the next exercise and ignore the sensations and if these sensations are way too much to handle then stop doing the exercises and wait until this feeling settles down. Bruce states that the sensations will be significantly reduced the next time you work on a certain area you previously worked on, as these sensations can happen due to opening previously blocked energy channels etc. He also explains that essential oils, massages, and reflexology techniques can be great to activate or clear energy blockages in the feet.
Heel Work
According to Bruce, the Heels contain large energy structures and it may help to work on them separately and deeply with large stirring stimulations, on top of the stimulations done on the soles while working on them. Use a large stirring action that covers the whole of each heel, for at least two minutes (for beginners) or split your awareness and do this for both heels together.

Whole Foot Work
Using a deep sponging action, draw focus from tips of toes to heel, back and forth through the whole of each foot, one foot at a time. Feel this stimulation as filling the inside of the whole of each foot as you do this. Split your awareness and do this for both feet together.

Ankle Work
Spend around 20 seconds on each part of this exercise.
Use stirring stimulation on inner and outer left ankle minor chakras, on bony lumps of the ankle joint, one at a time. Use wrapping stimulation around the whole of the left ankle. Repeat the exercises on the right ankle. Try splitting your awareness and wrapping both ankles at the same time.

Knee Work
Spend around 20 seconds on each part of this exercise.
Use a large stirring stimulation, then brushing stimulation, on your left kneecap. Repeat both stimulations on the back of the left knee joint. Use wrapping stimulation around the entire left knee joint. Repeat all the above on the right knee. Try splitting your awareness and wrapping both knee joints together.

Leg Work
Bruce explains that the legs are very complex energetic structures and that it is easier to consider the legs to consist of 5 main pathways. These pathways are presented very similarly to the ToZ chakra extensions by Bruce, representing the front, rear, inner, and outer. He also presents the fifth pathway, which is the internal bone marrow core, he states that this pathway awakens by itself as the other pathways are unblocked and worked upon.
Use a wide brushing stimulation on the front of each leg, one at a time. Highlight the whole leg pathway if necessary. Move focus from the tops of the toes, over the top of the foot and ankle, up to the shin, knee, and to the top of the hip joint on each leg, one at a time. Stroke focus up back and forth, up and down, a dozen times each way. Each leg sweep should take around 3 seconds for each up or down movement. This exercise is intended to stimulate the energy pathway and not to raise energy. Repeat the above on the back of each leg, one at a time, from the heel, to the back of the knee joint, to the rear of the high joint (the top of the buttocks) and then back down to the heel. Repeat this on the outer side of each leg, one at a time. Pay attention to taking energy from the smallest toe, through the outer side of the foot to the heel, the side of the ankle, the side of the knee, the top of the outer hip joint, and back down. Repeat this on the inner side of each leg, one at a time, from the big toe through the inner side of the foot, to the inner side of the ankle, inner knee, inner groin create at the top of each leg, and then back down. Raise energy with a large sponging stimulation, through the whole of each leg, feeling all of the leg as you go. Draw focus from the whole of the foot, through the ankle, and on up through the knee joint to the hip and then back down to the whole of the leg to the foot again, try splitting awareness and doing this last whole leg exercise on both legs at once.

Hip Chakras
This section is quite interesting, as Bruce clearly understands the importance of the hip chakras. He states that there are four large minor chakras flowering near the surface in each hip joint and that the inner two of these are connected to sensitive energy structures within the groin, including the "primary energy center of the genitals" and its sex organs. Bruce explains that these centers must be handled with care and that they are located at the top of each inner thigh, in the creases where the large tendons in the thighs enter the groin on each side. He exclaims that these should be done exactly as outlined and that the cautionary notes at the end of this section should be followed.
One hip joint at a time, first use a wide stirring stimulation, 6-8 cm in diameter, then a wide brushing stimulation up and down and then from side to side, on the front part of the hip joint, then on the outer part of the hip joint, and then on the rear part of the hip joint. These three centers aren't overly sensitive like the inner thigh crease centers and thus, no cautions apply. Stop the stimulation once any noticeable energy sensations are felt. Heavy throbbing, buzzing, tingling, and pulsing sensations are often felt with these centers. On each inner groin crease center, first use a stirring stimulation 2-4 cm in diameter. You do not have to spread your legs for this (optional) as focus will easily move through the flesh on either side of the groin crease centers. Next, use a narrow brushing stimulation and move focus back and forth over the center, stroking through the groin crease as if you were sliding an artist's brush back and forth through it. Cease stimulation as soon as this center shows any signs of activity. Use a wrapping stimulation around each entire hip joint, one at a time, taking in all four centers of each. This particular stimulation must be done at a slight angle to cover all four centers because of the way the hip joint is shaped, it may feel awkward at first but do the best you can. Try splitting awareness and wrapping both hips at once, in whatever direction feels easier (often, split awareness stimulation, each moving in opposite directions, works better for this). Try stimulating all eight hip centers with a single stimulation.

Cautionary Notes by Bruce: Groin Crease Centers-largest, most powerful and sensitive minor chakras in the entire body, can cause extreme sensations which can spread to the genitals themselves. Once you feel a slight pulsing, throbbing, tingling, or buzzing in them, leave them alone and proceed on to the next exercise. Feeling strong sensations in them, including sexual arousal can happen, especially when beginning to work on them. Do not overdo the stimulation of the inner centers. If sexual arousal is felt, move on tot the next exercise as this is a sign these centers have become active. Overstimulation and energy movement within the groin centers tends to lock body focus into the genital area and genital primary energy center-if this is allowed to continue it can cause unusually strong, urgent, and continuing sexual arousal; making further development exercises difficult at that time. If energy movement sensations do spread into your groin and genitals and appear to be taking hold there, stop and force your focus strongly away from that area. Focus on your hands instead. Strongly clap your hands multiple times and use the tingling this creates to lock focus there. Hold focus strongly in your hands until focus stops trying to slide back to your genital center. If the problem continues, get up and go for a short walk and take your mind and focus off the problem. Walking, jumping, running, clapping hands and slapping arms and face, or any other vigorous exercise, will help. If none of these work, take a cold shower or two; and/or soak your feet and hands in iced water; which will normally fix the problem fairly quickly. Return to the groin centre exercises during future development session, but be a little more careful next time. However, if over-stimulation and genital focus locking continues to reoccur at each session, discontinue inner groin crease centre work entirely, and skip these in all future development sessions
Feet & Legs – Quick Reference Guide by Bruce

Hand & Arm Development
Bruce explains that the energy body exchanges and draws in energy through the hands into itself from a variety of different sources. He states that these are best thought of as atmospheric subtle energies and says that atmospheric energies have a different quality from the earthly energies that flow into the body through the feet and legs.
Note by April: It is unclear to me whether these are actually different types of energy. These could also very well be the same type of raw energies, but felt differently due to being refined through different chakras as the energy passes through them. Though, a multitude of energy types that match what Bruce is saying are presented by Chinese spiritual science. ToZ sources indeed talk of various types of energy, but to my knowledge, most of the sources are currently centered around Shakti and related types of energy and haven't clarified this in specific, so I cannot confirm or deny this.
Hands & Arm Work
Like with the feet and legs, many small areas in the arms and legs need to be unblocked first to progressively open the entire area energetically and to be able to draw in more energy through these areas.
VERY IMPORTANT: Perform the Opening the Hand Chakras Meditation as well!
Finger Work
Work on each finger, starting with your thumbs, in the same way and order as you did with your toes, on both hands, one at a time. Unlike the toes, all finger joints can be worked on with the stirring stimulation (if desired), as finger joints are easier to target with focus than the smaller toe joints are. Using the stirring stimulation on each finger joint should be considered optional, however, and only done if energy blockages are present, i.e., if the fingers and hands cannot be made to respond with brushing and sponging actions. No response to stimulations in certain areas means that energy is blocked there. You may find it easier to do these early finger and hand exercises if you look at each finger as you work on it (all exercises are intended to be done with your eyes closed). Once these exercises have been done multiple times, do these with closed eyes. The most important thing in the beginning is to get the hands and fingers energetically responsive.
Work through every joint and knuckle in each hand with the stirring stimulation, starting with the thumb joints where they join your hands, one at a time. Use the stirring stimulation on top of the joints only and not on the sides or underneath (if you're having trouble getting your hands energetically responsive then you can target these areas as well with this exercise). Use the stirring stimulation on all thumb joints, using it on the finger joints is optional. Use a narrow brushing stimulation to stimulate the entire length of each finger, one at a time, on top of both hands, from large knuckles to fingertips, for thirty seconds each or until they respond, and for longer if you so choose. Try and feel this stimulation inside the whole of each finger as you do it. Turn your hand over and repeat this with each finger and thumb on its underside, in the same way. Use wrapping stimulation around the whole length of each finger, one at a time. The position (palm up or down) should be chosen according to energetic responsiveness. Use a narrow, overlapping wrapping stimulation, slowly spiralling up each finger length as you wrap it. Continue this for thirty seconds per finger, or until they respond (or for longer if desired). Use a wide brushing stimulation, as if you were using a large paintbrush, and stimulate the back of each hand, covering all fingers from the fingertips to a few inches above the wrists, one hand at a time, for thirty seconds or more, even if they respond well. Feel this stimulation as if you were drawing your focus through the whole of each hand. Use a wide brushing stimulation across all fingers, from side to side, covering all fingers. Try splitting awareness and repeating the above stimulations on both hands at the same time.

Palm Work
As with the soles of the foot, the palms of the hands and undersides of the fingers all contain a high concentration of minor chakras. These overlay and feed the complex energy structures within the hands and wrists.
Repeat the same process as you did with the soles of your feet, on the palm of each hand, one at a time. First use a tight, mobile stirring stimulation, moving this stimulation about until you have covered the whole of the palm of each hand, including the underside of all fingers. Next, use a wide brushing stimulation, back and forth, from a few cm above the heel of the palm to the finger tips, covering the entire surface of the palms and undersides of all fingers. Try splitting awareness and brushing both palms together, from above the wrists to the fingertips. Palm work, like sole work, can create intense energy sensations.

Elbow Work
Spend at least 20 seconds on each part of these exercises.
Use a wide stirring stimulation, then brushing stimulation, on the outer left elbow. Repeat on the inner left elbow. Use a wrapping stimulation around the entire left elbow joint. Repeat all the above stimulations on the right elbow. Try splitting awareness and using wrapping stimulation on both elbows together.

Shoulder Work
Each shoulder caries several large minor chakras, similar to the groin area, but working with these doesn't carry any cautions. Spend at least 20 seconds on each part of the shoulder exercise. It may be easier to hold your arms akimbo while working on your armpits and wrapping shoulder joints. Use a fairly large stirring stimulation, then brushing stimulation, on each of these joint centers-outer shoulder joint (point of shoulder), armpit, rear of shoulder joint, front of shoulder joint. Use a wrapping stimulation around the entire shoulder joint, with arm held akimbo. Repeat all the above exercises with the right shoulder. Try splitting awareness and wrapping both shoulders at the same time, arms akimbo.

Arm Work
Individual arm pathways can be hard to target so it is more practical to work on them as inner and outer pathways only. Accuracy is not required for this as long as each pathway covers around half of the thickness of each arm (inner and outer) so the whole arm is covered. Move focus back and forth, from the fingertips to the shoulder, a dozen times in each direction for the following exercises. Take approximately three seconds over each upward arm sweep and the same down. Along the outer left arm, use a wide brushing stimulation from the fingertips to the wrist, elbow, and outer shoulder. Repeat this on the inner left arm, from the fingertips to the inner wrist, inner elbow, and the armpit. Repeat this on the entire left arm, using sponging stimulation, feeling the entire arm, inside and out. Repeat all the above exercises on the right arm. Try splitting awareness and repeating sponging stimulation with the entirety of both arms at once.

Note by Bruce: Again, please keep in mind here, after working so laboriously and painstakingly through your energy body, that most of the above exercises are only used during early training. The [...] system is very progressive and large parts of your energy body will soon begin responding to single, larger awareness energy sweeping actions. This will become apparent when you start working with some of the more advanced energy raising practice sand full body circuits ahead.
Energy Bounce Techniques
"Energy bounce is a simple but effective awareness technique. It makes use of the awareness resistance factor that occurs when awareness is drawn rapidly through the substance of the energy body. This helps to clear, redefine and strengthen all energy pathways, including the large, internal, bone-marrow cores; by forcing energy to move rapidly through them."
Awareness Resistance Factor
Bruce explains that when focus is moved rapidly through the energy body, natural energetic resistance that feels like something is slowing or dragging the movement, as if moving through liquid, can be faced. This sensations allows you to feel the substance of your own energy body. Focus bounce actions create an energetic ripple-wave effect through your energy body. This ripple-effect, Bruce continues, causes a soft disruption within its substance which forces energy movement and helps clear and develop internal pathways and structures, and it also "loosens up" the energy body.
"As an example (using a rapid sponging stimulation), bounce your focus up and down through the whole of one leg (pick one) from foot to hip, feeling it moving in both directions; as with the earlier whole of limb sponging exercises. Bounce your focus from foot to hip and back, rapidly and repeatedly. Your body awareness is capable of lightning-fast movements and of flicking from one body part to another instantly, but not so when you are moving it through the energy body in this way. Slowly increase the speed of this leg bounce and you will soon feel resistance to the bounce stimulation. You will find there is a natural speed limit of about half a second each way. If you move faster than this, your focus will lose contact with the substance of your energy body and begin flicking from foot to hip and back, while skipping the leg in between. Once this happens you are no longer driving your point of focus through your energy body, and are therefore no longer stimulating it."
Bounce testing
Bruce advises to experiment with increasing the bouncing speed until resistance is faced when bouncing your focus through a part of your body. "Once resistance is felt, slow the speed a little until you are quickly and comfortably bouncing through your body while still retaining the feel of body focus contact. This is the correct speed for the bounce action in that area. Do not count or time this with a watch, just get the feel for what seems like the best speed for you."
Bounce Actions
Leg Bounce
As above, take your focus through one or both legs, from feet to hips. First, test for resistance to gauge the correct speed and bounce frequency, then bounce repeatedly from feet to hips and back to feet again. You'll quickly develop a natural rhythm with this action and you will feel the slight dragging effect it has within your energy body. Often, there can be mild energy movement sensations in the bounce area. Continue bouncing for at least a minute (or for as long as you wish). The bounce action will become almost automatic with practice. Try splitting awareness and bouncing through both legs at the same time.

Arm Bounce
First, test for resistance and adjust speed. As above, bounce focus through one or both arms, from hands to shoulders and back, repeatedly. Try splitting awareness and bouncing through both arms at the same time. An alternative is to this exercise is to hold your arms wide and level, and then bounce from one hand to another with focus passing through the shoulders and chest in between.
Affirm: "This energy has unblocked and cleared all energy channels in my arms in the most beneficial way for me."
Spinal Bounce
"Once you master this technique you can set it in motion and then use your mind for other things-only a small part of your focus is required to keep the bounce action continuing in the background." Bruce mentions this helping with spinal injuries and stimulating the chakras but makes no mention of Kundalini; it should be of big importance that this may help with developing Kundalini/the Serpent. He does mention that developed energy workers should definitely do this exercise daily, however.
Target the coccyx (tailbone) at the base of your spine with your focus (highlight if necessary). Stimulate the coccyx with a brushing stimulation for around thirty seconds. Move your focus along the full length of the spine to just above the top of the head. Bounce focus back and forth, from your coccyx to your head, feeling this up and down the middle of your back, in your spine, all the way. Try and keep this stimulation narrowed to the spine itself. Increase the speed of this stimulation until resistance is faced, then back off to a more comfortable rhythm. Breathe naturally while doing this.
Affirm: "This energy has unblocked and cleared all energy channels in my spine and sushumna in the most beneficial way for me."
If you have spinal injuries, use a blade-like focus and slice from side to side, starting at the base of the spine and slowly working your way up your spine, spend more time slicing the areas that have issues/are damaged. (Also please read this very important reply from Lady Maxine if you have a severed spinal cord or any problems with nerves being disconnected)
Affirm: "This energy has healed my [target area] and all its energy channels in the most beneficial and effective way for me."
Bruce says to cease stimulation and start energy bouncing if any erotic symptoms or strong energy movement is felt but I disagree, as these are quite normal sensations when working with the Kundalini, to my knowledge at least.
Full Body Bounce
This bounce takes the focus up and down through the entire body. This can be done in any position. Take your focus from both feet, up through both legs, hips, torso, and spine, head, arms, and just above your fingertips. Bounce your focus back and forth, from feet to fingertips, increasing speed until resistance is faced. Use whatever speed feels best. Try to feel your entire body with each bounce. A variation of this is with arms resting at the sides, where focus is bounced from the feet to just above the top of your head-most practical while sitting or standing.

Energy Raising & Storage
Feel all of the coming focus energy raising actions as if you were drawing a large sponge through each pair of limbs and were sponging liquid (energy) up through them, feeling the target area in its entirety as you do this. Try to stay physically relaxed but know that tensing and twitching is normal. You can do this in any position and deep relaxation is not necessary-this makes it quite useful.
If awareness/focus cannot be easily split and two limbs cannot be worked on at the same time, it's okay to only work on one limb at a time. Do your best to adapt these exercises to your needs. Don't worry if one limb doesn't respond as well as the opposite limb, we usually have a weaker and stronger limb. Keep trying with the unresponsive side and continue using the arms and legs as pairs when doing these exercises. If one leg/arm is all you can feel then draw energy through it but do not neglect the unresponsive ones-these unresponsive parts require more clearing with the earlier exercises given so please repeat those as much as it needs and make sure to take your time. Regular stimulation of these areas will improve the energy flow.
Energy Raising
Bruce states that there are two ways to raising energy-with focus alone or with focus aided by natural breathing stimulation. We Zevists know that this is inaccurate, as physical exercise, visualization, and vibration/mantras also play a role in raising energy (along focus as well). The first following exercises will be the basic procedures for raising energy in this system with focus alone and the methods to raise energy to chakras will follow.
Basic Procedures for Leg Energy Raising
First brush back and forth across all toes of one foot, with a single wide brushing stimulation for about 30 seconds. Then, use a wide brushing stimulation on the sole, for about 30 seconds as well. Finally, draw a deep sponging stimulation through the entire foot for about 30 seconds. Repeat all the above for the other foot. Split awareness and repeat above sponging action with both feet at the same time. Continue this until you feel energy movement in one or both feet. If you have no trouble with this and get a good response, directly skip to doing the split awareness sponging for future attempts at this exercise. Splitting awareness, reach down and grab the energy of both feet with your astral hands and pull it upwards, sponge it up through the entirety of both legs to your hips, feel the entirety of your legs as you do this. Take energy up over the front of the hips (avoiding the genitals) and direct this energy into your solar plexus chakra. Feel your solar plexus chakra sucking in all the energy and then instantly flick your focus back to your feet (do not move the energy down) and repeat these upward energy sweeps.

Basic Procedures for Arm Energy Raising
If sitting in a chair, hang your arms by your sides or rest them (palms upward) on your knees. If lying down, lift your hands above the bed, with your elbows resting beside you on the bed's surface. Alternatively, do whatever feels most comfortable to you, as that is the priority with positioning yourself. Stimulate all fingers with a wide brushing stimulation across them and then both palms with another wide brushing stimulation and then the entirety of both hands with a large sponging stimulation, feeling the entirety of the wrists, hands, and all fingers. After energy movement is felt, continue to the next step. Split awareness and draw energy through both hands with a large sponging stimulation. Continue this stimulation on up through the entirety of both arms, through your shoulders, down your chest/stomach and into your solar plexus chakra. Instantly flick your focus back to your fingers and repeat.

Note: If this exercise is used alongside the upcoming "full body energy raising circuit" then direct the energy to the back of your neck and combine it with the energy raised through your spine.
Raising Energy With Breathing
Bruce explains that we will now begin to start raising energy with a "full body circuit" which stimulates the entire energy body and energy pathway (nadis) development, steadily and safely increasing energy flow and vitality. He states that breathing creates natural motion within the energy body, creating a natural up/down, in/out energy movement and natural rhythm that can be useful to synchronize with your focus in any exercises.
Arms & Legs
If starting out with the next exercises, the first step is loosening and stimulating your feet, legs, hands, and arms. Repeat the above two sections on leg and arm energy raising until you feel energy movement. If nothing is felt, simply continue with the next exercises. Energy is still drawn into your energy body even if nothing is felt-this process of drawing energy into blocked areas should still be done.
Full Body Storage Circuits
Two Part Storage Circuit
The Two Part Storage Circuit is intended to take arm and leg energy into the solar plexus chakra. This will, in time, develop a natural rhythm, making sustained circulation easier. It can be done at any time in any position.
Use the Leg & Arm Energy Raising techniques. Before the IN breath (inhale), center focus in feet. During the IN breath, raise energy up legs and into the solar plexus chakra (continue flowing energy into the solar plexus chakra until the inhale is finished). When the IN breath finishes, flick awareness into the hands instantly. As the OUT breath (exhale) starts, draw energy through your arms down to your chest and into your solar plexus chakra, continue with this until the exhale is finished. At the end of the OUT breath, instantly flick your focus back to your feet. Repeat the entirety of the IN-OUT sequence. Arms/legs and in/out correspondence can be reversed if preferred.

Full Body Storage Circuit
Bruce states that this circuit covers the entire body with a continual flow of energy rather than two separate flows as with the previous exercise. He explains that this exercise stimulates the majority of all nadis and chakras and that it should be done for at least 15 minutes daily to feel lasting results but that there is no limit for how long this can be done. Long sessions are more beneficial but they can also be split up into short exercises throughout the day. With a continuous practice this circuit becomes almost automatic and can be combined with other trance and energy work. If this exercise is done before going to sleep, it can increase the vividness and lucidity of your dreams. The focus stimulation used in the full body circuit can be reasonably wide and does not have to be narrowed down to just the spine. Allow the stimulation to spread out as energy is raised up through your back. Hold focus close, feeling the movement entirely as you take your focus down to the front of your body. This part of the stimulation can be reasonably wide as well and allowed to spread out as it descends, narrowing again as it starts flowing into the solar plexus chakra.
Use slow and reasonably deep breathing and hold your focus firmly in your body. Stimulate the feet and hands (with brushing, usually) and bounce focus through your whole body a few times before starting (Just do what you feel like is the best warm-up for this exercise). This can be done in any position. All preliminary stimulation exercises can be skipped if many short sessions are done throughout the day.
Before the IN breath (inhale), center focus in the feet. During the entire IN breath, raise energy up your legs, through the hips and to the spine, the back of your neck, and to the top of your head. Hold your focus firmly in the entirety of the top of the head and feel the energy flowing and accumulating into your crown chakra until the inhale is finished. As the exhale starts, sweep your focus down over your face; into your mouth, down the throat, to the chest, and flowing to the solar plexus chakra for the entirety of the exhale.

Joining Arms Into Full Body Circuit
Once you're comfortable with the previous exercise, try joining your arms into the energy flow as well. This increases overall energy flow and draws in different types of energy through your hands. If this version does not seem to suit you, then you may use the previous exercise for your routines.
During the above previous full body circuit exercise, as focus passes where the hands are resting, on its way upwards, draw energy in through the hands, up the arms, as well. Raise arm energy in line with the rest of the energy flow in one, fluid, upwards, whole-body energy raising sweep. Feel your arm energy joining into the spinal energy flow at the back of your neck (or just feel it generally rising and joining with the energy flow). Smoothly continue the focus upwards into the crown chakra. Continue the full body circuit, as given in the previous exercise, from here on. The only change is the addition of arm energy into the flow with each upwards energy sweep on the IN breath (inhale)-everything else stays the same.

VERY IMPORTANT: Do the Energy, Circulating Energy, Directing Energy, and Drawing in Energy Meditations as well to develop astral senses further!
Direct Solar Plexus Chakra Energy Raising
After practicing energy raising for a few weeks and becoming energy sensitive, you'll become aware of many different types of energy and more aware of your solar plexus chakra as well. Once this begins to happen you'll be able to draw in energy directly into your solar plexus chakra through both arms and legs, all at the same time. When this is first done, it's best to start with only the legs, drawing energy up through them as a pair. The arms can also be used on their own as another pair, drawing energy into the solar plexus chakra. Once each of these methods has been practiced on its own for a while, it can be attempted to combine them and draw energy through both arms and legs at the same time. This technique is very versatile and can be done anywhere, anytime, to take advantage of high energy areas and situations. But it should not replace the full body circuit as this does not cover the whole body.
Legs: Pre-stimulate (use a brushing stimulation) and bounce feet and legs as necessary. Center focus in solar plexus chakra. While holding this focus, reach out with more of your focus and become aware of the entirety of both legs and feet. Feel your legs as being attached to your solar plexus chakra, imagining they are part of a large upside-down V, with the solar plexus chakra at its tip. Feel a vacuum-like emptiness in your solar plexus chakra. Feel energy flowing and being drawn up through the entirety of both legs simultaneously. Do not brush or sponge your focus up your legs, just feel the energy flowing up through them like water under pressure, in a continuous stream.
Arms: Pre-stimulate and bounce arms and hands as necessary. Center focus in solar plexus chakra. While holding this, reach out with more of your focus and feel the entirety of both arms and their hands. If arms are resting at your sides, feel them as being attached to your solar plexus chakra like they are apart of a large M. If raised or another position imagine another figure, a V or T for example. Feel a vacuum-like emptiness in your solar plexus chakra. Feel energy flowing and being drawn up through the entirety of both arms simultaneously. Do not brush or sponge up your arms, just feel the energy flowing up through them. Feel this energy flowing up both arms to the shoulders, and then feel each of these energy streams flowing down over the front of your chest, before flowing down into your solar plexus chakra. Feel the energy flowing into your solar plexus chakra and being stored therein.
Arms & Legs Together: Pre-stimulate limbs as necessary. As Above, center your focus strongly in your solar plexus chakra. While holding this focus, reach out with more of your focus and feel the entirety of both arms and legs simultaneously. Create a feeling of suction, drawing energy in through both arms and legs, at the same time. Feel the energy flowing into your solar plexus chakra and being stored therein.

"All the above actions create a strong energy demand in the solar plexus chakra. Energy will be drawn into the body through the hands and feet in response to this energy demand. Again, this should not be used to replace the full body circuit, but can be very useful under certain circumstances."
Energy Flow & Effort
Bruce explains in this section that for normal energy raising and development, it's strongly recommended that only a normal level of focus effort should be used. (no overexertion of focus) He says that this will make the energy body stronger, as focus that is too strong could cause too rapid energy channel (nadis) expansion, which could cause them to be delicate and unstable and possibly even retract after a while. Bruce states that increased focus should be used to clear blockages and overcome lethargy, but not for general energy raising and long-term development. He says that clearing blockages may cause high energy usage which can create fatigue. Random energy movements outside of energy work are considered normal and a positive sign.
Energy Resistance
Strong energy movement sensations could primarily be caused by resistance within the energy body, he states. He explains it as natural resistance to an increased flow of energy. Energy movement sensations will decrease gradually as the energy body gets used to the improved/expanded energy flow. This decrease does not mean you're doing anything wrong, continue with your routines!
COMMON ENERGY MOVEMENT SENSATIONS (By Bruce)
1. Tingling, tickling, buzzing and vibrating, in soles and palms, fingers and toes
2. Rushing water sensation, up legs and arms
3. Bone-deep tingling inside hands, feet, legs and arms
4. Heaviness and fuzziness, especially in hands and feet
5. Tingling, energetic body-rush feelings, up arms, legs and spine
6. Localized fluttering and pulsing in flesh and on skin
7. Muscular spasms and twitching limbs
8. Cobweb like tickling, like ants crawling all over you
9. Localized stinging and prickling sensations
10. Aching or burning hot or cold patches, especially in soles and palms
11. Needle-like pricking pains
12. Muscular cramps
Etheric Wrap Technique
Etheric wrap is a versatile technique, useful for clearing energy blockages and restoring damaged parts of the energy body. Energy blockages and damaged areas can easily be detected once energy sensitivity is developed. Areas that are unresponsive, heavy, or in any way different from the rest of your body can sometimes indicate damage/blockages. These areas will this need special attention to restore them. When you draw or bounce focus through your body, you may also come upon areas that feel heavier or lighter or fuzzier. Or you might come across areas that provide, more or less, resistance to bounce stimulation or that seem to deflect them. These areas should be suspected as being damaged and of needing restoration work, Bruce states.
Use a wide wrapping stimulation over the damaged area. Using your imagination, imagine an endless white-gold bandage of pure energy flowing from your astral hands. Feel this bandage of energy lowing into the damaged area as you wrap it. Feel the substance of your own energy body flowing into it. This stimulation is to be varied to suit the size and position of the area being worked upon.
Example (Leg): Focus target your foot, then begin wrapping from the toes up, as if you were carefully wrapping an overlapping energy bandage around it. Feel your energy flowing into that area, into the foot, through your astral hands. Continue wrapping up over your foot, ankle, up on your leg, all the way to your hip. Take your time with this, overlapping the wrapping stimulation all the way. Repeat as often as required.
Affirm: "This energy has healed my [target area] and all its energy channels in the most beneficial and effective way for me."
If you need to work on a particular internal organ with the etheric wrap technique, first found out exactly where the organ is located inside your body. Move your astral hands inside your body and feel for the organ in question. Feel your astral hands massaging the organ and feel an endless white-gold stream of energy flowing into and being absorbed by the organ. Note that some energy blockages will not appear for some time, many will only become apparent after energy development has been underway for some time, weeks or even months.
Note: This has been modified to include white-gold energy instead of white energy, as it is the most powerful type of energy-if pure white feels better for you then you can use this as well-but keep in mind that white is a very "isolating" color. If you're able to invoke/feel Aether then add this to the technique as well.
High Energy Areas
Bruce explains that some areas have high energy, for example: green wooded areas like parks and forests, oceans, beaches, lakes, rivers, rapids and waterfalls, mountains and hills, places where there is art and/or music, happy and excited crowds. And also times of sunset and sunrise, stormy, rainy and blustery windy days, early morning sunshine, moonlight and starlight. These are the best areas/times to get the most out of raising energy, according to Bruce. We Zevists, however, know that planetary hours also heavily play a role in when the best time to raise energy is (Hour of the Sun). He additionally states that your body will start tingling automatically when in the presence of high levels of energy (when sensitivity is developed).
Energy Vampirism
He explains that a possible negative side-effect is that if a high energy person comes into contact with a low energy person, often the energy deficit in the low energy person will cause energy flow into them, taken from the high energy person. It can be interpreted as energy vampirism or energy healing. Direct contact or touch is not necessary with low energy people, and this could even happen from calling them over the telephone. Energy transfer is not weakened by distance as long as there is some kind of empathic connection to carry the energy, he states. Some people may not seem energy depleted but are bottomless pits with insatiable appetites for energy-be vigilant of these. Everyone knows someone like that-you only have to be with them for a short time and your energy just seeps away. You quickly become bored, mildly-depressed, and tired. Low energy people like this should ideally, either be convinced to practice energy raising themselves, or avoided as much as possible. These effects can be countered to some extent by raising energy while you are associating with or talking with them, or by raising energy after this has ended. It can also help if you avoid physical contact and avoid making direct eye contact with them. You don't have to hide your eyes from people like this: simply look at the area between their eyes, instead of directly into their eyes during conversations.
Mouth Centres & Exchange Ports
Throughout his book, Bruce often references his concept of "Energy Exchange Ports" and assigns these to locations such as the palms, soles, mouth, nose, etc. Essentially, this term is meant to represent ports where energy is drawn into the body or "exchanged". These ports exist in the mouth, throat, lips, tongue, etc. he states that these likely extract energy from the foods and drinks we chew and swallow. The absorption of energy through these ports can be enhanced by stimulating them directly.
Pre-Stimulating Mouth Area
Each of the below stimulations should be continued for 20 seconds or more. Stimulate more of your mouth, lips, tongue, and throat, if you wish. These stimulation techniques can also be used prior to starting a full body circuit to enhance the mouth/throat part of these procedures.
With your tongue pressed gently against the lips, or protruding slightly, center focus on the lips and use a brushing stimulation, back and forth, across the entirety of the lips. Open mouth slightly and stick your tongue out a little-center focus on the tip of the tongue and use a wrapping stimulation around it. The area to be worked on is about what could comfortably be protruded from your mouth if your tongue were gently protruded, without forcing it. Close mouth and relax, then use the mobile, rotary stirring stimulation on the top surface of the tongue. Use a wide brushing stimulation along your tongue, brushing back and forth, covering the entire length of the tongue from the base to the tip. Roll the tongue back and press it gently against the roof of your mouth, without straining it. Focus on the inside of the mouth and not on the tongue, brush the whole inside lining of the mouth: top, bottom, sides, and inside of lips, in whatever feels easiest, covering the entire inner lining surface. With your mouth closed, use a sponging stimulation, taking in lips, mouth, tongue and throat, to the base of the throat, moving this stimulation back and forth. Bend this stimulation as it passes down your throat, then back up to your lips. Imagine you have a thick, bent tube inserted into your mouth and that this tube extends deep into your throat. Feel your focus moving back and forth through this tube, taking in your lips; the whole inside lining of your mouth and tongue, and then moving it deep into your throat to its base where it joins your chest, in and out repeatedly.
Affirm: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my mouth, tongue, throat, and lips have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Stimulation on the lips and tongue can cause peculiar energy movement sensations. Strong tingling/buzzing sensations in the lips and tongue and a noticeably metallic taste in your tongue are normal, Bruce states. While not directly related to this exercise, but to "New Age meditations that focus on the heart chakra," Lady Maxine has referenced this type of taste in your mouth, so it is still most likely not recommended to swallow this.

Food Energy Awareness
Pre-stimulate mouth, as shown above. when eating and drinking, feel yourself chewing and swallowing and extracting the life force from your food and drink. Eat and chew slowly and swallow thoughtfully, using your focus to suck the maximum amount of life force out of all foods and drinks. Take this energy down into your throat and swallow it into your body as you swallow the foods and drinks. This energy will naturally flow into the energy body's storage areas from there.
Affirm: "I have extracted all of the life energy of this food in the most effective and beneficial way for me"
This works with any type of food, but more value can be gained from a natural diet of fresh, high-quality, organically grown foods. The fresher and more naturally are grown, prepared, and eaten, the more high-quality life energy they will contain. But whatever you eat, this technique will assist to extract the maximum energy value from your food.
Crowd & Excitement Energy
Excited and happy crowds can release massive amounts of emotional energy into the surrounding atmosphere. This energy can be drawn in and used to increase energy levels. Center focus strongly in your solar plexus and reach out with your feelings to the entirety of the surrounding crowd. Feel for the energy that is permeating the atmosphere as you feel the crowd and its excitement. Draw this energy directly into your solar plexus chakra, using the direct energy raising technique given earlier.
Wind Energy
Great outdoor exercise for raising energy through the hands alone. This can be done at any time with no preparation. This is particularly invigorating in windy, blustery weather, e.g. where a breeze is blowing off the ocean, lakes, or mountains. If this is combined with energy breathing (next section) it can also have a very positive effect upon respiratory disorders. Bruce states that he had very positive results using this to help treat respiratory disorders in both children and adults.
Pre-stimulate hands, if necessary. Hold fingers wide, hands at sides, and feel the temperature and texture of the wind moving through your fingers. Raise arms slightly, palms out with fingers still spread wide, holding focus firmly centered in the entirety of both hands. Feel the energy in the wind. Feel your hands, and feel energy flowing into your hands and into your body. Draw the wind's energy in through your hands at the start of each IN breath (inhale). Take it up through your arms over your shoulders and down over the chest and flow it into your solar plexus chakra. Continue flowing energy into it for the remainder of the IN breath. Relax during the OUT breath (exhale) and feel all the tension and negative energy flowing up through the lungs and out through the mouth like a dark cloud of waste energy, for the whole OUT breath. Flick focus back to hands and feel the wind again, at the end of OUT breath, ready to start the next IN breath.
Affirm while doing the exercise: After Inhaling: "I am breathing in powerful energy in the most beneficial way for me" After Exhaling: "I am safely removing all stale and negative from my body in the most effective way for me"
Energy Breathing
The energy absorbed by breathing can be increased by adding focus and visualization to natural breathing. Become consciously aware of the air entering your nose, moving into and through the nasal passages and down into your lungs. Your focus must follow the leading edge of the air, all the way in as it is breathed IN and your lungs fill, and all the way OUT as waste air is exhaled. Visualization can be used to enhance this even more by imagining the air being breathed charged with colored energy, and by feeling this color being absorbed into the lungs. The expulsion of waste energy can also be enhanced by feeling waste energy leaving the body as a cloud during the OUT breath and by imagining this as being a dirty color.
Affirm while doing the exercise: After Inhaling: "I am breathing in powerful energy in the most beneficial way for me" After Exhaling: "I am safely removing all stale and negative from my body in the most effective way for me"
Nasal Stimulation
There are some minor chakras/nadis around the nose that can increase the effectiveness of energy breathing, if they are pre-stimulated. Bruce states that these are, apart from being related to the natural process of breathing energy into the body, also related to the energetic support structures of the third eye and crown chakras (unverified).
Do each of the following stimulations for 20 seconds or so. Using stirring stimulation, stimulate the tip of the nose, circling the entire tip, including nostril entrances. Using a small brushing stimulation, stimulate inside nostril entrances. Feel as if you are repeatedly pushing a small paintbrush deep inside each nostril with your focus, in and out. Using a slightly larger brushing stimulation, stimulate the entire length of your nose, brushing from the upper lip, over the nose, past the eyebrows and ending at the hairline above the brow. Continue this up and down, over and over, feeling the entirety of your nose as you do so. Sponge stimulate the entirety of your nose, move focus through the nose, from the upper lips to the middle of the brow ridges, back and forth, over and over, feeling the entirety of the nose as you stimulate it.
Energy Breathing Technique: Breathe deeply and slowly IN through the nose and OUT through the mouth. Feel the life giving air and its energy entering your body. Follow the leading edge of this air. Feel this entering and caressing your nasal passages. Feel it moving down the back of your throat and down into your lungs, to the very bottom of your lungs. It is easy to feel this depth as much deeper than it really is, and accuracy is not required. Feel the air and its energy moving deeper, flowing deep into your belly and entering your solar plexus chakra. The above is easier to do if you concentrate only on the leading edge of the air being taken in, so your focus moves with the front part of the whole air intake only. Breathe OUT slowly through your mouth. Be aware of the leading edge of your breath rising up from deep within your lungs, and up through your throat and out of your mouth. Feel waste energy leaving your lungs and body along with the waste air, for the entire OUT breath. Flick focus back to the tip of your nose, ready for the next inhale and repeat the entire process. Do not breathe rapidly to avoid hyperventilation. Slow, deep, and regular breathing produces best results. Continue the above for as long as you wish.
Affirm for both exercises: "All minor chakras and energy channels in my nose and nasal channels have been cleansed, opened, and empowered fully and are functioning perfectly."
Adding Color
With the above energy breathing technique, color can be added to increase its effectiveness or for specific purposes (Refer to Color). It's easier adding color to breathing, again, by focusing only on the leading edge of each IN and OUT breath. With practice this color can be expanded to fill more of the lungs with color, and to expel larger clouds of the waste energy/color.
For the IN breath, imagine the air you are breathing in is made of a shining white-gold color with specks of golden dust (Astral Gold) (any other color you're using for a special purpose). Feel the leading edge of this brightly colored energy moving into you with each IN breath and filling you with life giving energy. Feel this energy being absorbed into your entire body as your lungs fill. With each OUT breath, imagine the air being a dirty color and feel this dirty energy and disease leaving your body.
Scent Stimulation
Bruce states that certain minor chakras in the nose can be best stimulated using fragrance and suggests using an oil burner evaporating diluted fragrant oil, but any type of incense, oil, or potpourri method can also be used (or even fresh flowers). For specific healing effects on the physical body, Bruce recommends to read up on aromatherapy and using recommended fragrances given by experts in that field.
Scent Stimulation Method
Repeat nasal stimulation exercise as given earlier. Breathe in the scent slowly. Close your eyes and concentrate on the smell and texture of the scent. Feel the leading edge of this scented air entering your nose. Feel the texture and body of this scent penetrating deeply as lungs fill. Combine focus of fragrance with energy breathing, as above. As you breathe in, not only feel the energy and imagine the color, but consciously smell and feel the texture of the fragrance being used entering your body.

The Tracing exercise and stimulation (both together or separately) could be used in conjunction with TCM fundamentals to trace/stimulate meridians and acupoints and improve their function. For example, if one has a problem with their heart, one could try to trace and stimulate the heart meridian and other acupoints related to the specific function one has issues with. One could also try to tune into the various processes of our body (such as energy circulation or specific things like certain processes from organs as described in TCM) and improve their functioning per focus and visualization. Of course, using knowledge of modern medicine to perfectly visualize processes within our body to improve them is also possible. Make sure to always add proper affirmations after every exercise/meditations you do.
Tracing and stimulation (ideally with complementary visualization as well) can be used to open (and empower) nadis, minor chakras, meridians, etc. and used for other alchemical purposes. There are lots of possibilities here, be smart and creative.
The stirring stimulation will obviously help a lot in chakra spinning (see advanced chakra spinning also)
The exercises for the hands and feet from here and ToZ are powerful to improve at healing and directing energy.
Please make sure to open all Chakras do the Clairvoyance and Clairaudience Points Meditations to improve your astral senses and open up the minor chakras that govern their functions. Adding stimulation to the back of your head (cerebellum) may also be a good idea (other sources I have read state that this is a point that governs astral senses as well but this hasn't been verified by ToZ sources)

Chakra Extension Spinal Bounce
Do the Spinal Bounce exercise but imagine four columns in every direction around the spinal column representing the chakra extensions and feel these pulling energy from their respective directions into your spine as you do the exercise (bounce energy through all of these columns as well).
