doing destruction ritual for the first time 2moro night- all support

I've just been getting the prompt to do a very much delayed destruction ritual i'd put on hold simply because i didn't feel ready, but now i am sure am ready to carry it out and its actually against 3 persons, one being an organization.
Basically i've got an algiz and black tourmaline necklace that i've been wearing for some time which is going to be good for deflecting bad energies and i've also decided to banish negative energies in my room before beginning the ritual- being a thursday it would be more than ideal
ALSO should i do another banishing ritual after the destruction ritual and also should i do my aura of protection before and after the ritual?? what do you guys suggest? it's my first time so i would prefer answers from people who have already done the ritual even if it's just once?!
